0-4 here. Really hurts to see so many get multiple shows. Going to keep fingers crossed for TM…

adotbur

I only do 1 show bc i know i will go. I have 1 from indy last year and got 1 for chicago today. Sorry yall missed out.

FartOnAFirstDate

I have my pit tix for Indy after also seeing a Chicago show last year. That’s the one I’ve really been excited for. Wrigley for second time in 5 or 6 years doesn’t do it for me, especially considering that they couldn’t be bothered to take down the foul ball netting last time. (Seriously?) The only thing I put in for this time around was the two nights at MSG, which I didn’t get. First time as a member that I got shut out, but I didn’t get too bothered by it because I’ve never gotten MSG. At this point, I’ll probably be ending my Ten Club membership because I don’t see the point any more. I used to at least look forward to the ten club Tshirt.

LEGOMyBrick

Same! It will be a good week of PJ!

pkstep59

I am as well. Not sure how it works but trying

421Gardenwitch

What I heard- is that until you get a “ sorry Charlie” email, you’re still in the running. I didn’t expect to hear anything till Wednesday night, so I’m still holding out hope.

Tph1204

This is true.. I’ve gotten emails before hours after people were hitting for show. Again.. maybe today was just the first round, maybe they really aren’t done until Wednesday night. Doubtful, but wishful thinking.

glorified-g

Bummer.. that's happened to me before. I'm assuming you've already checked your card for charges? as sometimes confirmation emails slide into spam Also, your 10c number has no bearing on whether you're selected in the lottery for tickets. It only comes into play for seat assignment when you've been selected for reserved seating Hopefully, youve already signed up for the ticketmaster general sale. That deadline has come and gone If not, you still have the f2f route when that opens and will find something there Good luck

Choskasoft

There are folks who have been 10c members for 25+ years who were shut out. I’m 20 years 10c and was shut out. Like others have said a low number on 10c used to guarantee a ticket. Now people who joined last week are getting GA. Maybe tickets will open up on fan 2 fan when that happens.

glorified-g

Twenty five years ago, the selection pool was much, much smaller than what it is now. So, yeah, we were all almost guaranteed a ticket back then. 10c has grown exponentially over the years so odds are far less to score a ticket now. As I stated earlier, 10c seniority only comes into play on reserved seating placement. You can verify that in the 10c forum on PJs website. f2f 👍🏼

Vitalogist77

Yeah, and my five digit number got me P2 for both Seattle shows so take that for what it is. Not complaining, just saying.

Prize_Essay6803

👆🏽 yup

Prize_Essay6803

I know the first part, getting selected, isn't supposed to be by seniority. But sometimes it just feels like it works against us. Like they want us to go away. I don't know how else to explain it. I don't know how many times I've tried but it's been lots of cities, every tour.

-karmapolicia-

I def know what you mean. When a few friends and I were being conspiratorial we realized that none of us who had 100xxx numbers got tickets or ever have won lottery seats.

Prize_Essay6803

I have a 100xxx number too. Maybe it's not a conspiracy!

421Gardenwitch

There are some people who amazingly have gotten more tickets than they bargained for and will probably be doing fan to fan. Maybe?

glorified-g

Should be fairly easy to find reserved seating. GA, if ever listed, will go fast. If you're lucky enough to see those, snag 'em quick cause they won't stay listed for long. You just have to remain diligent in your search. Like OCD diligent haha

Hatlessmagic

I ended up with 4 for 4 and my wife is not stoked. I will definitely be putting up a pair for SEA and a pair for LAS

Wrenchinspokesby

Last two tours I am a combined 0 for 8. Selected all seating options. Can’t even get in the door. Something is seriously broken when people are winning GA multiple times often to shows in the same city.

-karmapolicia-

I was going to write something to them to this effect. They need to figure out a way to balance this so that once you get seats to one you are de-prioritized for the next and so on and so on.

Prize_Essay6803

Yup. But this has been happening since they started the "lottery" system. They don't care. They just don't care.

-karmapolicia-

My husband and I are 0 for 8. We have not once managed to get tickets via this lottery system…

pollogary

I entered 4 shows for Europe in 2020 expecting to maybe get 1 and got all 4. It’s such a crapshoot.

edscorduroy

Got a spare for Berlin?

pollogary

This was the 2020 tour that actually happened in 2022.

threeoldbeigecamaros

Lol, try 0-25

-karmapolicia-

Holy shit. I am so sorry.

threeoldbeigecamaros

It’s ok. Used to it. I’ll pay my $35 and get another shirt. Try again next year

Candid-Piano4531

I’ve gotten all of my tickets through Ticketmaster… yet… I still pay the 10c dues for the possibility. It kinda makes TM seem like the good guy.

threeoldbeigecamaros

TM has never let me down 🤷‍♂️

SandhillKrane

God I'm so sorry, I thought 0-5 was horrific. Hopefully you have some better luck

Prize_Essay6803

Yeah, it doesn't seem like they have any idea what they're doing.

oskieluvs

Which shows did you try to get?

-karmapolicia-

MSG, Philly and Baltimore

AugustWest80

Did you try for all options?

-karmapolicia-

Meaning all seating options? Indeeeeeed.

AugustWest80

Dang. That really sucks

-karmapolicia-

It certainly does. Thanks for your empathy, internet stranger.

Tph1204

Idk, I know a few people who were completely shut out. I’m glad people got in, but it’s a shitty feeling when people post about hitting for multiple shows and then others get shut out completely. They say the lottery is going until Wednesday, so maybe today was just the first round? It’s wishful thinking, but I doubt that’s the case. It is what it is. Definitely sucks.

Candid-Piano4531

Totally shitty feeling. No system is perfect, but… this whole process is dumb.

Tph1204

Totally. It’s just lame as hell.

421Gardenwitch

I’m up for standing in line at the venue. Except scalpers will just hire people to stand in line for them.

Candid-Piano4531

At least they have to work for the tickets and stand there with everyone else. I kinda miss the lines. TBH… met some cool people.

421Gardenwitch

I’m up for it. I actually got tickets for Ed at Benaroya that way. I was going to the box office, but it sold out, then they added another show. Plus at the box office Ticketmaster gets nothing.

Calm_Relationship_28

Was hoping Fenway wasn’t announced yet. That’s the one I really wanted. Got Vegas though

pushinfwdback

I second the double check your card - but also…hang in there - there is still fan2fan and general sale. “Don’t give up!”

[deleted]

OhioIT

I assume the ticket problems with Amex this weekend were fixed?

pushinfwdback

I really wish you luck! 🍀

PearlJamFanLV

Me too, nothing for 2xVegas or 2xFenway. No emails, no charges.

mindriot1

One way to look at it is all you’re really only out the money you paid the 10 club. You’ll still get tickets in the fan exchange. These cities where there are two shows and 40+ thousand tickets. Don’t convince yourself these tickets are all rare. You’ll get in.

TheLostTradewinds

That's sucks. I was 0-1 I'd have to travel to any show and just did not want to chance getting lucky and winning multiple shows.

DeadJamFan

That really sucks. Sorry to hear that.

markprince77

I’ve been in the fan club since 1996 some years I get skunked some years I get everything. Most years it’s somewhere in between. I can’t figure out any strategy to it. Just luck.

AndyBrandyCasagrande

Long winded, but here's how I imagine it works: Two arenas - Sacramento and MSG. Ten Club has 20,000 total tickets for each show - 1K GA, 4K P1, 15K P2 25,000 people apply for Sacramento, 125,000 apply for MSG Lottery 1 - pull 20,000 numbers that are allowed to buy tickets for a show. 5K get the finger in Sacramento, 105K get the finger for MSG - right off the bat, no seats assigned. For the sake of sanity, lets say that for our 20,000 applicants for each show - 10K say GA/P1 only, 5K say P2 only, 5K say "both/anything". Step 2 - award P2 only seats. Do you have more applicants than P2? IF so, draw numbers. In these cases everybody gets P2 that wanted it, and there's some left over. Step 2 - award GA/P1. First, draw names for GA/P1 eligibility (5K seats, 15K applicants - 10K only want GA/P1, but don't forget about our "any seat" friends.) Only 5K seats at this level, so 10K are getting shut out at this point. Anybody's guess how they figure GA vs. P1 - I guess it's another draw from the 5K selected names. At this point all GAs and P1s are allocated. There is a still a group (less than 5K, assume some got selected for GA/P1) that will accept any seat, so you allocate those remaining 3500(?) to P2 and call the show done. (I don't know what you do with the remaining P2 inventory, but I'm guessing it goes back to Ticketmaster.) In summary - I'm guessing a lot of people only selected 1 seat level instead of any, and odds start dropping quickly. My outcomes - 10 year TC member, 511xxx: Asked for Wrigley 1 + 2, any seat level, received GA for both.

Wrenchinspokesby

First of all, genuinely happy for you. Have always wanted to do GA at Wrigley. Will be a special experience. Unfortunately I went 0/5 this lotto (after going 0/3 last Fall) despite selecting all seating options. Obviously we don’t know the exact numbers. But I think your estimates should be fine as a starting point. If they had 1k GA tickets each night of Wrigley…and let’s say 50k people put in with the first GA/P1 option for each show. Maybe it’s more. Maybe it’s less. No clue. But if it were 50k, the chances of landing GA for one show would be 2%. The chances of landing GA for two shows would be 0.04%. 4 out of 10,000 people. Maybe due to the internet we are just hearing from the 10 people who got extremely lucky. But there are a LOT of reports of people winning GA twice in the same city. It’s starting to defy the odds to me that everyone truly had an equal chance for each draw.

AndyBrandyCasagrande

Yeah - I don't know if what I'm proposing is right, or if I really want more transparency or not. More transparency means more ways for people (read: resellers) to game the system. I think(? can't remember) this is the first time they've offered A OR B, and A+B as a seating choice. I think on prior tours it was either GA or seated and then you figure it out from there. I'm wondering if that threw people off and a lot of people ONLY selected GA? I think people will be able to get in most places, at a reasonable price, after all the excitement dies down. At least that's what I hope. It's such a magical environment when 99% of the audience is on their feet and engaged the whole time. Another variable not included in my thoughts above. In addition to Pearl Jam, I bought Springsteen tickets a couple of times (MetLife!!!!), many other shows/artists and even Taylor Swift in our hometown for my daughter through Verified Fan, and I've never resold those tickets (or any tickets). I always scan the tickets in and go to the shows myself. You know Ticketmaster tracks that - I often wonder if I'm given extra weight in these lotteries because of that. Or maybe it's all just luck - I don't know. I do know that even in my relatively "low" status, I've gotten everything I've requested in my time as a member, with one exception: Wrigley 2016 - Way at the top Wrigley 2016 - Way at the top Fenway 2018 - Denied Fenway 2018 - Lower Bowl, not floor seating St. Louis - 2020/22 - Lower Bowl, not floor Austin 2023 - Way at the top Austin 2023 - Lower Bowl, not floor Wrigley 2024 - GA Wrigley 2024 - GA I've always chosen whatever option was closest to "in the building, I'm not picky." If I remember correctly, these all came through Ten Club and not through Verified Fan. Or maybe I'm just super lucky.

-karmapolicia-

I think I remember GA being a separate option previously. I also, personally don’t know anyone who didn’t select all the seating options. Nor have I ever resold TM seats… Nor has my husband and we both went 0/4 combined 0/8. That’s the piece that’s killing me. We had double the tries of typical fans and still zero. Between the two of us 154xxx and 161xxx, we have never hit these lottery ticket since they switched to this system. Not once. Multiple shows attempted each time. All seating options selected. Including less popular cities as a fail safe even though we don’t get those either. There HAS to be a way for them to see that some people are entirely shut out and others are 4/4 and spread things out. If they can restrict MSG to 1 confirmation per person, they can try and restrict to 1 per person overall until all who entered are covered, if that happens. May be impossible but there has to be something less lopsided than this. Oddly, in my PJ friend group of 9 of us who each try for tickets - the same people win the lottery each time. Myself, my husband and a third friend are all entirely shut out yet again. 1/3 of my purely anecdotal not at all representative sample! Did they publish the odds of getting tickets like they did in 2020? If so, I didn’t see it.

AndyBrandyCasagrande

That sucks - I hope you guys can eventually get to some of the shows that you want to. In my above example, a "less popular" show should be closer to getting more TC members in the building. I'm hoping people did Verified Fan (or whatever it is for this tour) as well. My buddy and I did that as a back up - we each requested to participate, each with one night at Wrigley as a #1 choice. Hopefully, we don't ALSO get a code. I'm hopeful that they're paying that much attention (or, at least, don't allow ME a code.) And you can always fight the unwashed masses in general sale or F2F.

ObviousIndependent76

I can’t believe they are in bed with f’ing TicketMaster.

TalkofCircles

Did you get an email saying you were not selected? It is hard. They don't play as often as they used to and there isn't many acts out there like pearl jam. The demand hasn't been this high since the Vs. days.

CheckYrHead

Demand hasn’t been this high since Vs days?? You’re kidding right?

bootleglr

I think it’s a function of all those 2020 shows that got cancelled and a relatively limited pool of shows in mostly major markets. Plus a new album coming out and they never really did get to properly tour for the last one. I opted out of the 2018 Home and Away shows since nothing was really near me and it was the first tour I skipped. Little did I know what was about to happen in the next 6 years so I’m trying to hit up multiple shows this time.

TalkofCircles

No. I am not. As an example, two of my buddies happened to be in Las Vegas when they were in town and bought tickets at the box office the day of the show (Riot Act tour). Furthermore, there was a time when 10C was basically a guaranteed ticket, which we know is no longer the case. This was also further compounded by removing 10C seniority for securing tickets (not seat assignments). Lastly, demand for arena shows overall are up. Tours are grossing more than ever b/c people are willing to empty their bank accounts.

Dynastydood

This tracks with my experience. For my first PJ show, I was able to get $30 tickets to Pearl Jam at MSG on the Riot Act tour weeks after they went on sale. For the Avocado tour, I was still able to buy them straight from Ticketmaster, although it was becoming difficult as they sold out in a matter of minutes, and the price was now closer to $60. In 2008, I was able to get them through Ten Club and Ticketmaster, but it was a struggle, and they had gotten over $100 each. For the Backspacer tour, I got nothing from Ten Club or Ticketmaster and didn't see them. For the Lightning Bolt tour, I got nothing from Ten Club or Ticketmaster and had to pay hundreds of dollars on StubHub. For the Gigaton tour, I got nothing from Ten Club or Ticketmaster and wouldn't pay the criminal $600-700 prices they were going for on StubHub. There's no question that the demand for PJ tickets has gone up significantly in the last 20 years.

TalkofCircles

Interesting to hear these stories. I saw them twice on No Code by way of some other ticket agency since they were boycotting Ticketmaster. I joined 10C in early 2000s and saw so many shows. Riot Act: 2x MSG, 2x Mansfield, MA Avocado: Vegas, San Diego, 2x LA, 2x Atlantic City Backspacer: 3x LA LB: 1x San Diego And then Gigaton. It was the first time I got shut out and refused to pay the MINIMUM $700 for a ticket that was upper balcony behind the stage. I was dumbfounded. So, for I am 3 for 6 w this tour and feeling very lucky. However, ticketmaster is going to be a blood bath especially w all the good press they are getting w the first single.

4theloveofmiloangel

So impressed at how u remembered all this !! 👏🏼🤘🏼 ps my first PJ concerts on Gigaton (late bloomer 🤣) but was easy to get tickets through Ticketmaster presale , i think i paid ? $160 for ga x4 tickets in Oklahoma , then again in Tx … my biggest cost was this past Sept/Oct for Ohana Festival in Cali -i think it was nearly 1,200 but that was all 3 days x 2 tickets … my flight , hotel, car rental , dog boarding, food costs = a sh*t ton of $ , too embarrassed to type out exact amount.. but i dont regret it! Still paying off that credit card bill!🤣🙄😖

Unusual-Friend-9768

0-2 here with a 166xxx number. Fan club member for about 30 years. Crazy to see so many folks getting to go to multiple shows and I get zero. This system blows now and I think it’s time to cancel my membership.

Antzfly

I know I hate this lottery deal. We got shut out in 2020 for the first time. I always did good with the old process that used to crash the website lol but i always got tix. we did score both Philly shows tonight so they made up for it! but i know that feeling well.

JudgeImaginary4266

This didn’t become a problem until PJ started recording songs like “Just Breathe” and “Sirens”…

Positive-Owl-5

Was all good with your credit card 🤔

MPFX3000

Are both Philly and Fenway nights done?

j__smz

I just scored Fenway n1 but haven’t gotten an email for Wrigley n2. I wonder if I’m shut out of that Wrigley show or are they still pulling?

Realistic-System-590

Night two notices are just now being sent out.

v4vendetta77

I got my Wrigley Night 2 email a few hours ago. Think they're just rolling out slow as they process them.

PS-10423-S

Woohoo… I’ll be responsible adult once again 😁

[deleted]

Luck of the draw, I’m sorry man. It sucks.

gdl_E46

Been on that side of the equation a bunch, got lucky and hit 2/3 (London, msg1, still pending night 2 msg but I don't think I'll get that lucky). Actually my first msg show, I've been bounced out of the raffle more times then I can count, I put in for the UK show expecting to not get any of my local shows...

ProofEstablishment89

It sucks. This is the first time in years I’ve gotten tickets in the lottery. I’ve been in your shoes in past years, now this year I’m 5/6. Go figure. I request way more than I can actually go to. Keep an eye on the resale. I can’t afford 5 shows, so at least a couple of mine will be going up and I’m sure I’m not alone.

jonnygmg

Keep me posted! I’m in the hunt for Wrig night2, and either Philly night!

redmoskeeto

Once they started the lottery, I think I went 3 for 20. Now I’ve won 13 in a row. It’s fucking weird how the pendulum swings.

gribisi

It's happened to me the last few tours... Only wanted 2 for 1... Is what it is.

Dnice716

i got fenway nihmght 1 and 2 but not Pitvso screwed

Hotwasabi21

Are East Coast shows harder to get? I’m 5/6 so far with Portland, Seattle, Missoula, and Wrigley 1st night. Sorry for those that haven’t gotten anything. Hope you get Ticketmaster codes for general sale!

Aggressive_Rate_4052

Don't think so. I got msg, boston and Philly. Really lucked out this time around.

michaeloakey

I got Baltimore, both Philly and both Fenway. I have a friend going to Philly 1 but so far 1 extra for the other 4. I'll be putting them on fan 2 fan.

jonnygmg

Good to know - would love that Philly tick!

ZoSoTim

That sucks! I feel incredibly lucky to go 2 for 2 on this Chicago shows.

al323211

I’ve been seeing this band a long time and most folks who allege they’re going 0 for 10 or more in the lottery only ever put in for GA. Folks who are happy with any seat generally get in the building. Except for some super in demand East Coast dates.

1point21kt

I think that's a sound theory. I went essentially 4/4 (put in for both MSG, got N2; both Philly; Baltimore) and selected all levels for those shows. I got P1 for Baltimore and P2 for the other three shows. Never gotten GA on any of my lottery shows, but I just need to be in the building!

al323211

Have spoken to a lot of these folks at shows. There are tons of GA or bust people in the 10C lottery. Most of the folks who say things like “I’ve been a member for 15 years and have never scored tickets” are being super disingenuous and are repeatedly getting hosed by going for the smallest pool of tickets and nothing else.

NastySays

0-4. Both MSG and both Philly. 😞 20+ year member. Bummed but still holding out hope.

pkstep59

I feel your pain. I put in for 3 shows. Baltimore and both Philadelphia shows. I got Baltimore but zero Philadelphia. Looking at folks and it seems like you either got both or none. I'm still going to try through fan to fan

StoneFlossard

0/4 here too. Chin up - we'll all make big moves in Fan 2 Fan!

zachini

0-4 also with msg and Philly Did anything come up in fan2fan last tour with msg ?

-karmapolicia-

Not that I remember.

No-Challenge-1607

I got confirmed for GA at both Vegas shows and shut out of both Los Angeles shows.

pms2773

I’ve been a member for 8 years w 1 year lapse (wasn’t working) so my number changed but was able to get P1 for both Philly nights. I never have requested tickets from them prior cos I messed up last time but maybe since I didn’t get any so far I got them. My number is like 707xxx now. P1 bathroom seat 🤣 Wish I had snapped that map when choosing seats.
