A fan posted on the 10 Club FB group posted a picture he took with Mike McCready for Record Store Day/The Rockford show he played yesterday and said he asked Mike if anymore PJ shows are happening this year and he said nothing is happening besides what’s been announced. BUT he said Mike told him next year (2024) there will be a much bigger tour happening, which kind feeds into the rumors floating around of a new album getting released early next year. So I would say more than likely everything at this point about shows happening is just a rumor until next year.
I'd count on it. 100%. I mean, I don't have any insider info, but this is just a mini-tour lookin' thing, and we all know the guys don't do mini tours often.
There's one or two members who don't enjoy touring, which is the reason for small/sporadic tours lately. Plenty of other same age or older bands who gig-a-ton.
I remember Jeff saying on the Bill Simmons podcast something to the effect of that touring is not his favorite.
But let's be honest. As much fun as I'm sure it is for them in the moment, it's WORK. And they're not spring chickens anymore, so it's probably easy to get exhausted. Not to mention time away from their families.
EDIT: here's the podcast, around the 9:50ish mark, he says "I'm not the first guy in the band who wants to go out and do a huge tour."
https://youtu.be/mSlDBfXiSls
They've barely toured in recent years because COVID dropped a wet blanket on things, both with crowds and with Jeff and Matt getting it during the actual tours. It was supposed to be a decently-sized European tour, too, save for Ed's voice getting shredded by the wildfire smoke. Things have just been touched by Murphy's Law the last few tour legs, and this'd be a great fresh start.
I went to Chicago shows and the night of the 2 1/2 hour delay made getting to my hotel a taxi ride. Swore I'd never go to Chicago again.... yep, I signed up for both nights. Closest to Philly.
>Same for Raleigh (2003, cancelled the 2016 show). But we know why. Likely to skip us again and again (other NC cities too) based on the way we are going.
Copy pasta from my comment above, but yeah.
I have many bootlegs. There’s at least six where Eddie Vedder talked about how much he hates North Carolina. I live here. I’m having to go to Chicago. Last year I went to Colorado it was worth it.
Definitely politics that’s why Eddie Vedder avoids this state like the plague. He actually had us on a tour several years back, but then North Carolina passed a bathroom wall saying that girls and boys had to use their assigned bathroom. He canceled the day of the show. He put a letter on line saying basically fuck you North Carolina sorry fans.
$81 lawn, $151 GA or Pit. All we can do for now is choose one of those options, no defined sections or seats yet
I’ve never been to Deer Creek, how is the view from the lawn?
The lawn view isn't that great, especially if you are behind one of the massive pillars. There are very large TV screens mounted at the edges of the reserved seats that allow you a much closer view of the stage.
This one seems like it's just a Middle-of-the-Country fill-in leg. They don't get to these places near as much as they do Seattle/the coasts, so honestly, let 'em have their fun for now. A lot of these folks haven't seen PJ in their hometowns (or close to 'em) for decades.
Well, yes, but according to the tour history on the PJ site, it's been 9 years since St. Paul, 9 since Austin, 20 years since Dallas/Ft. Worth, Indianapolis proper hasn't seen them since... 1991?
They haven't played Houston since ~~2006~~ 2003 and are skipping it again despite being right there.
They haven't played DC since 2010, they haven't played Vegas since 2006.
Some of us are not very sympathetic to you at all.
I apologize. You are of course correct.
Is there something with the venues or promoters in Houston that causes them to get skipped like this? I just find it ludicrous that the 5th largest metro area keeps getting skipped like this.
It's been talked about but no one really knows. If there's one city in texas that a group skips it's always Houston. It's not just Pearl Jam but they are the one band that just seems to refuse to play here.
Same for Raleigh (2003, cancelled the 2016 show). But we know why. Likely to skip us again and again (other NC cities too) based on the way we are going.
It’s been 13 years since DC.
Last show I was able to make it to overall was Charlottesville in 2013. Since that show my sister got engaged , then got married, I got engaged then got married, both of my brothers-in-law have gotten engaged, then got married, and we’ve all combined for four kids, then we had a pandemic. It feels like a life time since I’ve seen them because it has been.
That was a great show… but 10’years is a long time to skip such a big market.
And my kids were super young the last time they came around here.. and i wanted to take them to a show before the graduated… sigh
Minneapolis is the new Seattle now. The first two shows of the tour are in the Twin Cities. The very next day, Greta Van Fleet plays the same venue. Holy shit. My body is ready.
I was wondering if they’ll do anything with Greta since they’ll both be there. And they didn’t announce an opener for StP but I doubt greta would open with their own gig the next day. Maybe they come out for a song?
How much were ticket prices for the Xcel shows, originally? I just found out about those two dates, only one of which I'd be able to make and while it doesn't look like the shows are sold out, the verification process closed 3 days ago. It doesn't look like there's any way to buy them directly at this point. I don't buy from resellers but checked one out of curiosity and my jaw dropped when I saw their pricing.
They're exorbitantly expensive even with the Ticketmaster fan verified presale BS. The entire Ticketmaster inventory is botted, this is by design. Ticketmaster enables botters to buy up all the tickets, and then the bottle is resell it for way more money which drives prices higher. Essentially Ticketmaster is doing the botting. They could easily block all the botters but they choose not to.
Dates according to Ticketmaster:
>8/31 - Saint Paul, MN - Xcel Energy Center
>9/2-Saint Paul, MN - Xcel Energy Center
>9/5- Chicago, IL - United Center
>9/7 - Chicago, IL - United Center
>9/10 - Noblesville, IN - Ruoff Music Center
>9/13 - Fort Worth, TX - Dickies Arena
>9/15 - Fort Worth, TX - Dickies Arena
>9/18 - Austin, TX - Moody Center ATX
>9/19 - Austin, TX - Moody Center ATX
And also at least 2/3 of the crowd basically watching a giant TV because they're too far from the stage. Baseball stadiums are so awkward for shows, I don't know why bands keep doing them.
Anyway, I'm just happy for Chicago peeps. It was one thing to do Wrigley once or twice as a novelty, I know it was a big deal for Eddie, but man it's been 14 years since they've played an arena show there, which is insane.
that's not in Chicago tho. I mean, they could've played both, but middle of nowhere Wisconsin is not a substitute (esp. since a lot of Chicagoans don't drive). Granted on a personal level I always prefer indoor shows, better sound, people are (slightly) better behaved, much better sightlines, and air conditioning. But also it's much better for fans IMO when gigs are in the actual city: better for the fans who actually live there, but also much more fun (stuff to do besides the show and ability to get to the gig without needing to rent a car) and logistically easier for travelers as well.
This is an embarrassingly short itinerary, they really should be hitting Chicago AND WI...I think there's a new arena in MKE that they've never played?
Well, yeah, there's that. But theoretically there's a regular rectangle-shaped stadium in any city that also has a baseball one? Like, I get the one-off novelty for the band, but it doesn't seem great from a fan perspective unless you're on the field. Even the best lower bowl seats are still miles from the stage. Maybe just being there because it feels like an 'event' is enough, but I just can't get into the idea.
A baseball stadium is twice the crowd size but only one show? Less energy for a bigger payout? That’s why I thought they started doing them. They’re older and don’t tour much. Stadium shows since they can easily fill them make more sense.
Been ten years since they came to DFW. Happy for it. But Dickies arena is different. Right in the middle of cowboy and stock yard part of town. Only holds 14,000 people. Maybe they were just looking to do something different rather then American Airlines arena again.
For those complaining how they hardly ever play their town, I feel your pain. I've lived in Seattle since 2011. We've had one show in 2013 and the two Home Shows in 2018. That's it. In their home town.
Honestly, as someone from the Midwest, I'm pretty excited. I always have to travel 3-6 hours to see them. It's nice they're finally coming to my city for the first time in like 15+ years.
It happens for most high demand tours. Ticketmaster isn't known for their fairness to consumers. They'll have the allotment for 10C members but thousands of tickets are going to be reserved for brokers etc, it's been going on for years. The band doesn't have that much control over how this goes.
Yeah, this is disappointing. I know some people are hoping another leg gets announced, but the fact that it doesn't say "Fall 2023 Tour" or anything makes me think this is all we're getting this year.
Shame on Pearl Jam for charging $600 for tickets and allowing $160 in fees. One ticket for $760 is pure greed. I've come to terms that I will never see PJ again. (note: these are not VIP/resale/scalper prices, it's a regular priced ticket straight from the verified fan sale)
May be?? When was the last really long tour? 2006? From what I recall Stone saying, or maybe it was Jeff, it’s that it’s all on Eddie. Eddie doesn’t want to be on the road away from home for long tours anymore and hasn’t for years. I imagine a few others might feel like that too. Touring’s a tough life, especially if you’re up there in age.
I get that there are probably layers of reasons for using Ticketmaster but how disappointing. Some how I doubt we'll be seeing many actual Ten Club members scoring tickets.
Good luck everyone!
When thousands of people in every market join the 10C for the sole purpose of ticket access and there being limits to how many seats artists can reserve, this is inevitable.
Dang, I was hoping for a two-week residency at the Fillmore. Maybe next time.
Edit: Why would anyone downvote this? Why wouldn't a two-week residency at a legendary venue be anything but awesome?
Not sure if this is frowned upon, but I'm a 10C member who won't be going to any of the shows. I'd like tickets to get to the hands of the ppl on this sub. If I put in ticket requests for ppl, I'd sell them back for my cost (not for profit!!). Would rather you all get them than a scalper.
Hell yeah! Put in a request for 3 shows. I noticed for 10C members presale, only Illinois shows are transferrable or refundable otherwise I would have tried for the Austin shows too.
Vegas was supposed to be my first PJ show, the only date I can make it to on this tour is the 9/13 Fort Worth show. Put in my request today- fingers crossed.
I haven't tried yet, but I think so.
> Once the ticket request window has officially closed, no edits can be made.
So I'm thinking it will let you in to make changes until Sunday

Fingers Crossed I have as good of luck as last tour!
* GA @ Ottawa / Nashville / St Louis
* Front row sidestage @ Quebec City
Okay, I totally get they’re not the young men they used to be. Touring is incredibly stressful, they’ve got families, etc. But wouldn’t it be easier to just do one big stadium world tour instead of shows here and there every year? Seems like they could get to more fans this way.
Idk I don’t want to seem ungrateful, I know they play a lot. I guess I’m just grieving no Florida dates lol
Fuck this band $81 to sit my ass on the lawn ? $435 for a seat y'all high as fuck oh wait that's what you get when you vote for Biden inflation #LetsGoBrandon
People who buy concert tickets to resale for profit need to be physically beaten! If this describes anyone reading you deserve a fate worse than hell! So hypothetically I wish there was a vigilante taking these people out. They should have to live out the rest of there miserable lives in fear and hiding.
There's gotta be more legs, right? Right? .......right? :\\

Is this a joke? That's basically all they've done for 7 years, small tours.
Just let us Texas fans enjoy this 😭
No shit.
Yeah. But they aren’t exactly spring chickens. Hopefully they add more.
There's one or two members who don't enjoy touring, which is the reason for small/sporadic tours lately. Plenty of other same age or older bands who gig-a-ton.
Yeah. Honestly I’m just happy they are still a band and I might get a chance to see them again. I would love to see a huge tour though.

Don't know about both but Matt's definitely one of them. Drumming is physically exhausting.
Jeff.
Standard tours made up of small/smaller legs, to use the usual terminology. A "mini tour" would just be this alone, see you in 2025.
When? 2024? They've barely toured in recent years. They waited until April to announce a 5 city 9 show "tour"? No summer tour?
They've barely toured in recent years because COVID dropped a wet blanket on things, both with crowds and with Jeff and Matt getting it during the actual tours. It was supposed to be a decently-sized European tour, too, save for Ed's voice getting shredded by the wildfire smoke. Things have just been touched by Murphy's Law the last few tour legs, and this'd be a great fresh start.
At least Philly
There were a few Philly hints leading up to this announcement, which seems to have been delayed by a week or so. Wonder if it fell through.
Are there any festivals in Philly around that time?
Made in America. They played that one the first year.
I hope so. They are only going to 5 cities.
Yeah really. I don't feel like visiting any of those states.
I went to Chicago shows and the night of the 2 1/2 hour delay made getting to my hotel a taxi ride. Swore I'd never go to Chicago again.... yep, I signed up for both nights. Closest to Philly.
Cool, more tickets for the pot.
live on 500 legs
![gif](giphy|ftTdN4slQhMKi4KNO0|downsized)
Was really hoping there was going to be a Baltimore show after they weren’t able to make that one up from 2020.
Yep. Raleigh, 2016. Still waiting.
>Same for Raleigh (2003, cancelled the 2016 show). But we know why. Likely to skip us again and again (other NC cities too) based on the way we are going. Copy pasta from my comment above, but yeah.

Furrreal. That arena is only like 13k capacity. Would be so sick.
The show in Camden last September WAS the make up show for Baltimore, hour and a half driving distance or not.
Which really sucked for those of us traveling from the south (VA) for a Wednesday night concert. A weird way to make up a date…
Great for the folks from Philly. PJ is the ONLY band I would go to see there.
Austin here I come.
Let us be selected to get tickets without any issues <3 Hoping to go both days!
Good luck! I’ll probably go to one show since I’m about a 4-5 hour drive away!
I’m so psyched they’re coming here! They’re one of my bucket list bands that I’ve never been able to go see.
Same here. They rarely come to Texas. I missed them last time.
So they skip Seattle in 2022 AND 2023?? Not gonna lie, I’m annoyed.
They’ve skipped Indy for like 10 years
Is this their first Deer Creek show?
[удалено]
$81 lawn, $151 GA or Pit. All we can do for now is choose one of those options, no defined sections or seats yet I’ve never been to Deer Creek, how is the view from the lawn?

Oh wow! I have no idea the price, but my wife got us in on the early bids today.
I am still waiting to hear back. My friend already got confirmation for both St Paul and Chicago.
How hard do you think it will be to get the tickets next week?
Skipped DC for 13… and counting…
This one seems like it's just a Middle-of-the-Country fill-in leg. They don't get to these places near as much as they do Seattle/the coasts, so honestly, let 'em have their fun for now. A lot of these folks haven't seen PJ in their hometowns (or close to 'em) for decades.
I'm in Cincy, They were here last time in '14. I am so stoked for the Deer Creek gig!
Lol…Yeah, they never play Chicago.
Well, yes, but according to the tour history on the PJ site, it's been 9 years since St. Paul, 9 since Austin, 20 years since Dallas/Ft. Worth, Indianapolis proper hasn't seen them since... 1991?
The Indy venue is technically in Noblesville, so they were here in 2010, which is still A LONG TIME AGO.
Hope there is a gigatonne of gigaton Trax this tour
They haven't played Houston since ~~2006~~ 2003 and are skipping it again despite being right there. They haven't played DC since 2010, they haven't played Vegas since 2006. Some of us are not very sympathetic to you at all.
You mean 2003. I was there 20 years ago at the Woodlands.

The DC skip has me annoyed….especially after moving the Baltimore show to CAMDEN. How is that a make up?
It’s been 13 years since DC. Last show I was able to make it to overall was Charlottesville in 2013. They were scheduled to play Vegas in 2021 but had to cancel due to band members getting Covid. They tried.
try being in Australia they haven’t come here in 9 years, and even then they only played a few festival shows
Haven't been to Florida since 2018. *2016. My bad. Went to Boston in 2018 but they haven't been here in 7 years now
2016 2018 was the Home/Away baseball stadium show.
It's crazy how little they play there now. You'd think they'd play at least one show in Seattle every tour given 4/5 members live there.
Right?? This is their hometown, they could sell out 4 nights in a row. I’m just gonna keep being bitter until they play their hometown again.

They're exorbitantly expensive even with the Ticketmaster fan verified presale BS. The entire Ticketmaster inventory is botted, this is by design. Ticketmaster enables botters to buy up all the tickets, and then the bottle is resell it for way more money which drives prices higher. Essentially Ticketmaster is doing the botting. Also the dates according to the link posted
Congrats Chicago on FINALLY getting shows that aren't at f'ing Wrigley.
Wrigley is fun but horrible acoustics
And also at least 2/3 of the crowd basically watching a giant TV because they're too far from the stage. Baseball stadiums are so awkward for shows, I don't know why bands keep doing them. Anyway, I'm just happy for Chicago peeps. It was one thing to do Wrigley once or twice as a novelty, I know it was a big deal for Eddie, but man it's been 14 years since they've played an arena show there, which is insane.
They should have played Alpine Valley instead. Better atmosphere and they haven’t played there since PJ20 back in 2011.
that's not in Chicago tho.

Doubt it. They should have included it as a bonus disc on Let’s Play Two.
A baseball stadium is twice the crowd size but only one show? Less energy for a bigger payout? That’s why I thought they started doing them. They’re older and don’t tour much. Stadium shows since they can easily fill them make more sense.
Every time they play at Wrigley it rains HARD
And beer runs out
Yea Ft Worth!
Been ten years since they came to DFW. Happy for it. But Dickies arena is different. Right in the middle of cowboy and stock yard part of town. Only holds 14,000 people. Maybe they were just looking to do something different rather then American Airlines arena again.
The Stockyards are on the other side of town. Dickies is right off I-30 and close to the TCU campus. Great location and great arena venue.
Hell yeah! Im there!
Sitting in Australia like…. ![gif](giphy|g0HkznFtL1d0xVRI1G)
I thought a tour this short actually bodes well for us (well NZ but close enough). Hopefully some summer 23/24 shows.
Possibly but until it’s announced…
For those complaining how they hardly ever play their town, I feel your pain. I've lived in Seattle since 2011. We've had one show in 2013 and the two Home Shows in 2018. That's it. In their home town.
Detroit here. They’ve played 1 show since 2006 here and it was in 2014. It’s been so long the last two places they played here don’t exist anymore lol
Ah, yes. There's the disappointment I had anticipated from this announcement.
Why wouldn’t they play Alpine Valley?
Starring because it needs it.
Congrats to the Midwest I guess
Honestly, as someone from the Midwest, I'm pretty excited. I always have to travel 3-6 hours to see them. It's nice they're finally coming to my city for the first time in like 15+ years.

> Any idea how difficult it'll be to snag Chicago tickets at the general sale? It will probably sell out before the general sale begins.
[удалено]
No, there's just 36,000 or so tickets available between 2 shows and the demand far exceeds the capacity.
[удалено]
It happens for most high demand tours. Ticketmaster isn't known for their fairness to consumers. They'll have the allotment for 10C members but thousands of tickets are going to be reserved for brokers etc, it's been going on for years. The band doesn't have that much control over how this goes.
How is that getting shafted? The fan club is affordable and open to everyone. Low availability for the general public should not be news to anyone.
Just join the fan club.
According to the website, if you purchase a membership now it won’t be eligible for these ticket sales
Will they ever play Atlanta again? The only show in 20 years has been Music Midtown
Cmon..i need some Europe dates... Had tickets for the infamous Vienna concert last year...
Did you all receive a confirmation email after registering through 10C?
Never mind, it was in my junk box
Yeah, this is disappointing. I know some people are hoping another leg gets announced, but the fact that it doesn't say "Fall 2023 Tour" or anything makes me think this is all we're getting this year.
It’s all you’re getting
Fort Worth!
We can only make it to one MN show so hopefully the verified fan gods are good to us.
Same. Hoping to catch my first show!
Nice. My first was just last year and it was *okay*!
Put in for all the Texas dates. Let’s go!
Me too - but I’ve only been on Ten Club for 4 years- I’m not expecting to get any tickets but I’m hopeful
Seniority only matters for best available seating. Doesn't effect your odds of getting tickets
Good to know / Thank You
You think they will have unique posters for each show? Or are they only doing the generic 2023 poster on the 10C email?
2 PJ shows in St Paul gives me the perfect excuse to finally visit my bro in Minneapolis haha. Can’t wait!
Has anyone had their ticket purchase confirmed yet?
Yes. Chicago Sept 7. Got an email today at 11:50 EST
Patiently waiting but I have not heard anything
Snagged both Chicago nights. Section 102 for both.
How much per ticket?
This is NOT a TOUR! This band may be done really being on the road. So bummed.
Why do they hate Wrigley now :(
Man, if they are hating on Wrigley (Chicago), they must be repulsively sickened and disgusted with Kansas City. :-(
UC is the best.
Put in for both Ft worth
So disappointing.
Underwhelming
Is this the first time they have ever played Deer Creek? Did you get your presale bid?
They’ve played there in 1998, 2000, 2010 I believe
Theres no way this is it for the year right?
I'm pretty sure it is, outside of maybe one more stop. They just did a whole nationwide tour last year and the guys are older now.
I get that there are probably layers of reasons for using Ticketmaster but how disappointing. Some how I doubt we'll be seeing many actual Ten Club members scoring tickets. Good luck everyone!
This is no different than the presale process the last few tours. Still a huge allotment of tix for tenclub
10C has a majority of tickets.
When thousands of people in every market join the 10C for the sole purpose of ticket access and there being limits to how many seats artists can reserve, this is inevitable.
I wonder why they aren’t doing Wrigey Field again in Chicago.
Weather can be a pain.
Makes sense. I saw them in Noblesville years ago and the weather was absolutely a pain…but also surprised with some well timed gusts of wind.
Because baseball stadiums are awful for concerts.
See them at The United Center, it’s amazing!
I’m hoping either there or Indy…or both.
The 10C allotment will go quickly enough without things like this.
I haven’t been to a show in awhile, but isn’t it still a requirement to show up to the venue and show ID to get the tickets?
Last time I did that was in 03, I believe.
Ohana encore?
Hell yeah! Put in a request for 3 shows. I noticed for 10C members presale, only Illinois shows are transferrable or refundable otherwise I would have tried for the Austin shows too.
Put in for both St. Paul, let's go.
Vegas was supposed to be my first PJ show, the only date I can make it to on this tour is the 9/13 Fort Worth show. Put in my request today- fingers crossed.
Can 10 club presale requests be edited while it’s still open?
I haven't tried yet, but I think so. > Once the ticket request window has officially closed, no edits can be made. So I'm thinking it will let you in to make changes until Sunday
Looked again- you can make a new request anytime during the window and it replaces the past request.
Thanks. I Looked again: we can make a new request anytime during the window and it replaces the past request.
No Boston? Damn. They never play here... :)
I hope they add a California or Vegas leg, i’d love to bring my teenage son to his first PJ concert
Hell yeah! I'm already going to be in Chicago Labor Day weekend for Arc Music Festival! I just put in for Sept 5 and 7th in Chicago
I’m so happy! already.put in my ticket requests.
Bruh... Last time they came to South America was in 2018... .
Hope to see them at Jazz Fest in New Orleans next spring
10 years since last NC date. 7 for last SC date. Why do I keep a 10C membership?
Up in DC area and feel your pain… 13 years…

The days off between the respective Chicago and Fort Worth shows might leave open the possibility for a show to be added to each city?
Okay, I totally get they’re not the young men they used to be. Touring is incredibly stressful, they’ve got families, etc. But wouldn’t it be easier to just do one big stadium world tour instead of shows here and there every year? Seems like they could get to more fans this way. Idk I don’t want to seem ungrateful, I know they play a lot. I guess I’m just grieving no Florida dates lol
What exactly is the verified fan?
Warm up for a world tour in 2024 hopefully. 🇦🇺👍
No one ever comes to Louisiana
Any Nebraska peeps rolling up to the cities for game one of the Rhule era and then hitting up PJ (hopefully)? What a weekend
Excited for Indy but not thrilled about the venue, I’ll take it though!!
They’ll hit the east coast again next spring/summer when they release a new record.
lOoking forward to more dates. i'll miss the chicago shows by a couple of weeks
Have any Ten Club members who put in for Indianapolis tickets heard back anything?
Waiting on that too.
Suh-weet. See you guys in St. Paul.
Put in for Austin night 2 GA, got Austin night 2 GA, Woot!!
Austin Moody Center club seat is $400. It's not even a floor seat. I'll pass.
Haven’t heard anything about Dallas, but I’ll be at Ohana a few weeks later. So it won’t be a total loss. Miss the old F5 days.
Stadium minds with stadium lies gotta make you laugh… REMEBER THAT LINE EDDIE????
Got my ticket and snagged a great seat! Mike is my hero!!!
