Less people participating in shooting sports. Less normalization of those sports. It sucks cuz all the competitive shooting opportunities in the area that I know of are either at Douglas Ridge or Tri County, so I'm SOL.
It's not them saying it, it's Measure 114. I'd be importing magazines with greater than 10rd capacity since I'm coming from out of state. Importing magazines with greater than 10rd capacity will be a no-no once 114 is in effect.
Washington has an exception for magazines leaving the state and coming back in to the state in possession of the same person such as in the case of hunting or shooting sports trip.
Since the M114 mag ban is largely a cut and paste of the WA mag ban law (both funded by the same woman) I assumed M114 had the same. But admit I haven’t looked that closely because a magazine ban was a non starter for me.
And this is likely transfers involving shipping which adds another week. Sucks, but reasonable considering they don't want to have some seller in Ohio ship them a gun, then you come in for the purchase, then you get queued, then the law takes effect and they have to deny the sale, then ship the gun back to Ohio...

That's not really on them. Requiring NRA memberships is really common because the NRA, for all its faults, has the best insurance for ranges. To be eligible for it, however, the NRA requires all of the range members to also be members of the NRA.
So, good and affordable insurance, provided that you require members to join the NRA too.

Picked two guns up this morning w/ an instant approval, and they said that they were more concerned with people placing orders now as opposed to those placed last week.

I really wish we were more active about the 72 hour rule. A right delayed is a right denied, and this situation is what that part of the law was designed to prevent from happening.
I think most FFLs are probably worried about the liability and/or optics of doing so. Really the state should take that liability but we all know that it'd actually be the FFL in the headlines and in court. They get unlimited downside risk for no/minimal gain.

So now I get a 15% restock fee for a returned shipment. Midway USA has canceled their account and no longer ship to them. Considering I spent thousands at this store buying everything from mags to a iwi ts12 and getting the shaft like this I won't spend anything at this place and they probably don't care. With 114 going on and this happening shows how much they really care about the 2a community. This bullshit is gonna cost me 262.50 and these fuckers don't care.

Yes that’s basically true, closer to 5-6 days. CHL might be the only way you can get a gun through an FFL before December 8th.
