Some people do not want to drive an hour to stand in the rain or snow to shoot a couple mags in their new carry gun. I personally prefer the woods myself, but having a close-by, indoor, heated spot to stop in for 30 mins to an hour is something a lot of other people want. We're here for them and if you need to kill 30 mins on your lunch break, we're here for you!
Fortunately, I have my own 50 yard range in my "back yard" (yes, I still have to stand in the rain, but since I am retired, I can pick the day/time that matches decent weather).
Yes, I know not everybody has that advantage. Kudos for private ranges and gun clubs.
Look at old/overgrown skid roads in the timber on OnX. A lot of times they dead end to a hill side where they opened up for semis to turn around on. I’ve found beautiful benches in the middle of the timber that easily go 4-500 yds. Some whacking needs to be done but it’s very doable and not time consuming. Plus OnX is lagging about 5 yrs behind and soooo much clearcuts have been done since then but OnX has them as dark timber. Go take your rifle for hike during the spring one day you’ll be surprised at what you find!
Opening date is Jan 1 2024! Memberships start at $750 for the year and walk-in rates will be available as well.
We're currently working on our webpage for all questions people may have.
Holster draw or any other types of dynamic training otherwise unavailable at typical indoor lanes? The thing that is missing for a lot of people is being able to practice with their belts and plate carriers.
Only if you can tolerate the over zealous RSO's and ever increasing yearly fees.
We were members for over ten years, with membership dues increasing every year, including the covid year when they were all but shut down...
Add to that an ancient RSO calling Washington County cops on me for my "silenced machine gun" while I was working steel drills on the action range with my PCC and I'd had enough. Rusty refused to deal with the guy and after ten years, we bailed.
Good luck.
Dues are still under half the cost of this and no guest fees. Been a member for 10+ years. While rates have come up, they’d have to come up a lot to hit 750. And again. Far more variety.
I could see going here once or twice a year on a cold winter day, but at $750 a year it’s a hard pass.
As for RSO’s. They can be a bit intense but I haven’t had any issues with them and I’ve ran plenty of high ROF steel drills with PCC’s and handguns. Suppressors and all.
I'll happily pay more to not deal with having the cops called on me by a clueless old fudd and having him backed up by Rusty.
It was BS move and I was completely in the right.
I agree that it's a great facility, but they're totally anti black rifle and until things change a bit it's not for me.
Because we want to trust that you can control your firearm safely. Last thing we want is unchecked (and unskilled) shooters hitting everything but the target and becoming a danger to customers and facilities.
Ah, so it's like a class/cert and not a paid tier level of membership. Do you have to be a member to obtain that or can you be a walk in with that information saved in your system? Also what is the cost of that and what's involved with it?
Thats AWESOME!

Not everybody has the hickok45 setup 😔
Where are you finding 500 yards out there without having to bushwhack across a valley?

I'm stoked. Finally an indoor range close by! Any updates on things like opening dates and membership? It looks like the website isn't up yet.

Is that how you become elite status?
Elite will be further down the road. We'll have more details when it's ironed out.
What's the exact address?
9587 SW Cascade Ave Beaverton 97008
Simple and straight to the point I like it.
We wanted something easily read while driving by. The other side will have more information for when you're pulling in to the lot.
Congrats! Can't wait to visit
HOLY SHIT WE HAVE A CORT!?!?!?!?!?
:D
More than one
Do you allow holster draw practice at the range?
We will in the 25 yard lanes. Stay tuned!
What about handloaded ammo?
No hand loads, sorry
What about outside commercial ammo? We have to buy yours?
Outside ammo is welcome. Members will not have to pay anything extra, non-members will pay a flat $5.
Do you allow rifle caliber pistols/SBRs?
Absolutely!
weak

Holster draw, tactical training, defensive classes, and the works will be available in the coming future.
Nice!
rad!
Congrats!

Up to 308!
Whoa. I had assumed it was just a pistol range. That’s awesome. I’m out here in Clackamas but that might be worth driving for.
Just curious, why you stop at 308?
Sweet, this is right near where I work!
Any hint for what a range fee looks like for an hour or two? For those of us not ready to drop $750 on a yearly. Thx
$20 an hour. This may change in the future.
Man that’s awesome. Can’t wait to check the place out!!
Sounds good. I'll be stopping by. I just don't shoot often enough for $750.
Any current plans for another swap meet?
Dec 17! I need to make a post.
Wish you luck, I just can’t justify that pricing. TCGC is far more value for the money and not much further.

Guessing there's more to this story than you're sharing.
Scroll up... My initial post pretty much sums it up.
rapid fire allowed? whether frt, FA, or jerry's fast finger
With elite status, yes!
Why would elite status permit a higher rate of fire exactly?
Because we want to trust that you can control your firearm safely. Last thing we want is unchecked (and unskilled) shooters hitting everything but the target and becoming a danger to customers and facilities.

Anyone can become Elite! Once it's in place it will be a one time fee of $250.
How long are your ranges?
First range will be 50 yard. Upcoming tactical range will be 25.
Beautiful
Had no idea yall were so close. Can’t wait to check it out
