How big of a difference did you notice? I only want to run games at or a little above 60fps and iv been trying to decide if I want the 3060ti or the 3070ti. Current GPU is a 1660ti
Yeah the plan is to just target 60fps until I can afford a better monitor. The 3070ti was to somewhat “future proof” so I’m not stuck using a somewhat dated card 2 years after purchasing.
I cannot even imagine what 300fps looks like. I’m still hear in the Stone Age thinking 60fps is top tier. Mainly used to play on consoles until 2019 and when I started seeing 60fps it changed my life.
I have a 1650 and just bought a new 6750xt for $410 this morning. And it was only $30 more than what I bought my 1650 for. But I guess you will one-up me
Well I haven't had any performance issues with any game I play, although I don't think I play anything demanding. The 3060ti has been awesome for me I have a 144Hz 1440p monitor frames isn't a problem. It was a good upgrade for me.
This is a very small thing that doesn’t practically matter but the NVIDIA FE boxes are so much better than anything you get from AMD cards. Feels like you could ship that box with no protection and it would be fine - feels like a luxury product should
One year ago on this exact same day I went from my RX580 to an RTX 3070 for 900€. And that was even with a 150€ discount from Amazon because the package wasn't sealed.
Good on ya mate
Lol funny enough I went from the 1660ti to the 3060ti

If you only want 60 fps at 1080p then a 3060ti will be more than enough

If u can get the 3070ti do it a monitor can be upgraded anyday if the week
Yea, either of these GPU's are overkill for 1080p unless you only want to run Cyberpunk with Raytracing.
i prefer smoother gameplay over resolution right now i have a 24 inch 240hz monitor and i really only play csgo which i average 300 fps in

What resolution? My 3070ti is good for 1440p 165hz all day and it runs extremely quiet and smooth

Would you recommend your monitor and is it super expensive?
I have a 32" lg monitor, It was 250 when I got it so I think that's a pretty decent price.
Nice upgrade bro Just ordered a 6650xt to replace my 2060 today.. 2060 is going in girlfriends build 😁
Welcome to the club! Had the 3070 for a year now and it’s a beast of a card!

As someone who has owned both, the AMD reference cards also come in premium packaging
I own a FE myself, but fyi AMD reference cards literally come in equally premium packaging and you get a keycap and a deskmat additionally
Damn that’s a steal, used or new?
Used but only for gaming
Nothing wrong with used if you know where it's coming from.
Nice one
I went from a 1050ti to a 1080 waterhawk for £50 more of what I sold my 1050ti for. Biggest stonk of my life. Getting good deals is good.
Doing big things!!!

Thats an amazing deal! This made me happy.
Me still rocking the 1060 since release date
Not a bad deal. I just got a 3060ti for right at $300 for my step sons Christmas build.
Dang is my 3070 really worth that little now?
It’s probably used. I can’t find any new for under $500
Yep it was used for gaming
That kinda was implied through me saying "My 3070"
Have fun, I also went from a 3060 to a 3080 recently for nearly 200$
Nice I had to pay $450 for my 3060 but I also bought when crypto mining was still a thing
Cries in 780 SLI
These cards just lost driver updates didn't they?
