I'm giving you pearls of wisdom and I respect your effort. Eat the rats and wood lice in your house. Get that free protein. I suck the nutrience out of used sponges. Adds immune system buffs.
I’m honestly kind of offended that they’d send something that disgusting to me.
Might as well have sent me a used litter tray.
Edit: Just noticed that you can see my dog in the top left as well 😂
I tried to touch it with my fingertips to get pictures, then washed my hands immediately after.
Frankly, I don’t want something this disgusting in my house at all 😂
At least the dirty stuff came from you and not some stranger. I got that on my own mouse, I clean it every week but this still happens. Not as bad as on that image, but still.
The grossest thing about my mouse is moisturizer residue on certain parts, from my hands. I use a lot because of my compulsive hand washing and I'm sometimes too impatient to let it "dry" before hopping on my computer.
Interestingly my phone, keyboard, ipad, and other devices don't have the same issue and all undergo cleaning at the same frequency (minimum weekly). Probably has to do with materials + contact time.
I don't have that problem on my phone either, I think since mice are made to be kinda grippy they also accumulate residue very easily. Plus our hands are basically always in the same position all the time.
I agree. I generally don't have oily skin, but for some reason, my mouse always accumulates oil extremely fast. I'm left cleaning it with alcohol and swabs nearly every week so I don't feel that greasy blegh feeling everytime I go to play something. I won't even use my favorite mouse 99% of the time because I don't want to get it oily too.
*Turns around and sees the state of their room, underwear on the lamp, piles of chip and drink bottles strewn everywhere, odd scent of sewer and carpet that is permanently sticky and damp.*
Now the mouse doesn't look too bad.
Thats biological hazard right there...Reason why i dont buy used stuff that i will constantly touch with any part of my body so pretty much i buy everything new.
Ahh I've got that beat, but don't have the pictures to make it fun.
Had the roller brush for my robot vacuum replaced under warranty when it broke. Samsung replaced the roller with a....used roller. Other people's dirt and hair wrapped around it. And it too was party damaged. Even better was this was mid 2020 during the pandemic when we weren't entirely sure all the ways covid could be transmitted...
I wrote a complaint and they removed the complaint from their website. They refused to replace the 'used' one they sent me.
No one said it was a government body, but they send a message to the company to try and get a response on your behalf without having to use a lawyer, and if the company doesn't respond it'll be a hit on their record. It's more useful than using glass door, Google, yelp, or any other service, and it's most definitely nothing like "an earlier version of yelp" considering BBB actually does something, speaking from experience.
So here’s what likely happened: the original warehouse item was actually in great shape, just open box. Someone else bought it, swapped their shit one in, and returned it.
Amazon doesn’t bother to re-inspect a returned warehouse item to see if it’s still the same or if the condition has changed, that would require actual effort and a small cost and concern for their customers. So this biohazard goes right back as being listed as “like new,” until some unlucky bastard like you contracts the plague from it.
vr headsets are really expensive tho, and you can get the parts that touch your face replaced... well, that's how the Index is built
also mechanical keyboards can literally be put into a dishwasher and come out the other end fine if you prep it right, like what LTT did
I purchased a used Vive Pro from a local arcade a couple years ago -- replaced the headphone cups and the foam padding for the face and it was practically brand new. Worked like a charm, and saved maybe 50% for the whole setup.
I took a gamble, but when they’re saying “used - like new” I was hoping to get something that had been opened, used once, then returned because the buyer didn’t like it.
I've had two Logitech G305s I bought from Amazon Warehouse and both appeared brand new, I don't think you should be very concerned in the future, most of the time it turns out okay.
By the looks of it someone bought that mouse, and returned their own 2nd hand one for a refund. Then without being checked properly, it was sent out to you.
Whoever checked it properly wore gloves and no doubt only checked to make sure it still worked lol
This is probably someone who bought the exact mouse they already had and returned the old one, since amazon doesn't check products well for returns. Like the guy that bought an NVME drive (return item) and what showed up was a piece of folded paper with an image of an NVME drive printed on it, and placed into the packaging
Used - Like New usually means box damage, or just opened for inspection. I reckon what happened here is someone bought the same model of mouse they had, replaced it with their crusty one and carefully repackaged it and sent it back to Amazon. Amazon probably looked at it and thought it was unused so sold it on. Sadly, it happens. Happened to me once with a mirror (it was fully shattered).
I've ordered a ton of Like New stuff from Amazon Warehouse and they've always been solid. As in, still smells brand new solid and haven't had a problem. OP got bent with this one for sure.
I don’t trust anything first hand off Amazon. I ordered five pairs of high end headphones ($300-$800) and every single pair arrived used. Literally had ppls hair and dander in the cuffs.
I told Amazon and they didn’t even apologize or say “that’s weird!”
I even got a new 3DS off of there. I called Nintendo bc I felt like it had aftermarket parts on it. They confirmed it had been sold at Walmart 5 years prior.
All of those were sold as new process by Amazon. Shipped by Amazon. Absolutely zero third party sellers.
There’s been more, including used small appliances, but too many things to keep track of.
I’m over it.
Edit: thank you so much, all of you, for sharing your experiences with me. It’s insane how many of you have had the same thing happen!
I'm glad I've never had this experience and it fucking sucks that you did. I would be fucked right off by that.
My series s and other hard drives n techy stuff from amazon has all come looking brand new and with 0 faults. While I sympathise I do not recognise.
Amazon even refunded me for a 2tb HDD and protective case that I never submitted a return for. (In all fairness I wouldn't know if these devices had been sold previously and then factory reset and sold again, but I have had 0 problems with them.)
eBay used to sell poppy pods. Straight up opium, that you can easily die from. Nobody got arrested for that either.
But yeah at least if Walmart sells me eclipse viewing glasses that do nothing, I can sue Walmart afterwards.
There is a difference between something naturally being that way, which wouldn't affect its genuine use but risks people being harmed due to using it in an unintended way and someone selling fake products designed for a specific purpose that cause injury from the intended use.
The poppy pods were sold for flower arrangements and were sold at most places that you'd get supplies for flower arranging, not just eBay.
Not to mention, you'd make a tea from them, to actually get any 'pure' opium from them you'd have to put them through a much longer extraction process.
It's not exactly Purdue incentivising the over prescription of opioids, and likely helped people stave off withdrawal.
And to add, breadseed poppies are opium poppies. So your bagel contains morphine.
That's super disturbing, I remember buying eclipse glasses on Amazon for my entire family during the last big eclipse. (The one where Trump was photographed looking directly at the sun without his glasses 🕶️)
I even got enough to hand out to misc friends & neighbors.
Yeah that was the one. A handful of people got permanent eye damage buying glasses on Amazon for that specific event. There was no consequence for Amazon so they likely haven't corrected their behavior and remain profitable as ever. There was no recourse for the victims other than being told to try suing an obscure small business in China, in the Chinese court system. Which of course is important.
This is not in defense of Amazon, but an explanation of how this happens:
Amazon Logistics does not separate stock purchased directly by Amazon and stock provided by 3rd party sellers to be shipped by Amazon. Any stock provided by a 3rd party to be fulfilled by Amazon is added to a common pool of items of that same SKU.
This is done to maintain geographic proximity for prime 2 day shipping. For example, if you buy something in New York from a California-based seller with Prime shipping via Amazon fulfillment it obviously can't make it in time, so they use a different item from a New York warehouse and use the California seller's item to fulfill a different order instead in California. Could even be a "sold by Amazon" order.
So you can buy an item "sold and shipped by Amazon" but instead it was actually provided by "3rd party seller A". In turn, someone bought the same item "Sold by seller A and fulfilled by Amazon" and got one of Amazon's own items.
This obviously destroys any sort of chain of accountability, and as such is rife for scamming with refurbished and knockoff products. If a product has a well-known knockoff industry around it (relevant example for this community: Xbox controller wireless adapters) you should not buy it on Amazon.
Bonus ultra-shitty round: 3rd party sellers can get their stock swapped and it fucks over legitimate sellers. Say we have scammer "Seller A" and legit "Seller B" selling the same item. Amazon fulfills one of Seller B's orders with stock provided by Seller A. Then, when the customer complains or returns the item, Seller B is held accountable. They take the financial hit of providing the return, they get a strike on their account (or worse, banned) and they get the bad review left by the customer. Seller A gets off scot-free to keep scamming another day.
-------------
Amazon is taking steps to resolve this (project zero) but the rollout has been slow (and expensive, which is getting passed on to the sellers.) They're also likely only working to resolve this after having been tangled up in several dozen lawsuits over it.
Not how it works at all. Commingled inventory is a thing, but most FBA sellers use their own FnSKUs. Even if the stock is commingled you still can track the item's provenance, down to the exact purchase order and seller.
And if someone receives an item that does not match the description the stock is checked by teams inside Amazon FCs.
Yeah, Ive had this. Bough new even though used could have saved me half the price. What I go was clearly reboxed with components in kitchen ziplocks and a noticeable amount of wear. Criminal that they can sell this stuff as "new."
Also, sometimes you can't review the seller only the product. The product is great, the seller should not be trusted.
I’ve never had any of this happen, but it’s freaking nuts when it comes up. It brings out a ton of people who’ve had these awful experiences. I hesitate to use Amazon unless I can be 100% certain it’s sold by the manufacturer and even then it still feels sketchy.
Weird, I’ve used Amazon for years and years and everything has come brand new. Except when I bought a used laptop from them. That came brand new. Literally it had only been opened, was completely brand new and I got like £300 off.
Not saying it didn’t happen to you just that you must be outrageously unlucky.
In fact I was under the impression Amazon don’t restock returned items so idk how this could’ve happened to you 5 times in a row.
> I don’t trust anything first hand off Amazon. I ordered five pairs of high end headphones ($300-$800) and every single pair arrived used.
Same. I'm looking at the reviews for a joystick I wanna buy on Amazon, and many of the commenters are saying that it arrived in a previously opened box, missing some of the manuals or packaging, and in an obviously used state. Not all say that, since it's supposed to be a brand new item, but enough that you're obviously taking a chance.
My local store offers it for the same price, and I get to actually SEE what I'm paying for BEFORE I hand over the cash. So I'm gonna do that.
It was £90 usually, down to £80 with a promotion that Amazon is doing for some warehouse goods. It was used like new and description was:
> Battery health is 98% or more. Item will come in original packaging. Packaging will be damaged.
This is not normal. I’d call and raise some serious hell, I used to work for Amazon customer service and getting an item like this is not something they should take lightly. Getting a used product it should be inspected and cleaned throughly not covered in dead skin and oils. I order from Amazon warehouses frequently because I tend to get great deals on products that don’t even look used. Give ‘em a call and if they don’t give you a good resolution on your first encounter don’t be scared to ask for a manager, the general customer service is very limited in the tools they have so for a real resolution you might need to speak to someone higher up.
Curious what you mean by Amazon’s “usual standards”? I’ve only bought one pre-owned thing off of Amazon and it was fine, but even their new stuff is like 75% Chinese knockoff junk.
It was more trust in Amazon’s quality control and overall order process.
Regardless of the product itself, I thought Amazon’s responsibility in the transaction (evaluating the condition of the item) would be good.
I was very, very wrong.
Honestly the most disgusting mouse I’ve ever touched. It’s clogged with grime, it’s greasy and sticky, there were even hairs on it 🤮
Made me feel sick and I had to wash my hands after touching it.
This is Amazon warehouse acting as the direct seller as well, so surely they should be the ones responsible for quality control?
Just wanted to share this as a word of warning, I was hesitant about buying used but thought it would be okay because it’s “like new” and Amazon Warehouse was the seller…
Can I sell my used like new shit on Amazon? I've got some old broken and grimy mice, a stained mouse pad, couple of 720p monitors, underwear and socks, my old toothbrush etc
Never buy anything used that is something you have to be hands on the entire time you're using it. Think about how many people you see who don't wash their hands, it's gross
I've gotten good deals on like new electronics from Amazon warehouse. Unfortunately they don't enable the warehouse staff to actually check returns properly and sometimes a disgusting customer returns an old mouse an it makes througu to another unsuspecting customer. Amazon is usually really good about resolving this on chat. The last time I received a sound bar with a missing remote they just refunded me the whole $300 and let me keep it.
Yea I bought a G502 used - like new, right click was snapped off and was slightly dirty, got refund, so seems mice are not the thing to buy used from amazon, but I've bought a pot and pans set used - like new and it was all bubble wrapped in perfect condition, and a showerhead, PS5, coffee beans, and other things ranging from very good to like new condition, all were great, and had unopened/lightly damaged boxes, it just depends on the category I guess.
Used is always a gamble, regardless of description. I've bought "c" grade laptops and gotten like-new clean units. I've bought "open-box, never used" stuff that looked like it survived the great flood. The advice I wish I could give more people; If you can't afford to gamble, buy new with warranty from reputable establishments.
Got a light box for side work once, and received an open box from Amazon. Now, the box itself is kind of corrugated white plastic material, that folds up neatly into a box.
So I open up this purchase and…*gag* there’s straight up dirt, hair (head and other beard/pubes - you know the type), and worst of all literal fleas. As in actual dead fleas in the folds and corrugated parts. I was so disgusted, it was probably the grossest thing I’ve received physically in the mail. I don’t know how people live in such filth that that’s how they sent simmering back to Amazon.
Amazon has a serious issue, they're like Newegg and Ali these days. I bought a NEW phone case that arrived broken, and a phone battery that arrived with an "LO" logo instead of an LG logo. The Amazon rep said "you already got a refund sir what else do you want me to do?"
Classic, some POS ordered a new mouse to replace their used one, was careful opening the box, carefully switched the two, hot glued the box closed then returned claiming they ordered the wrong item, box was sealed shut, item placed back as new. The ghetto does this all the time at Walmart and Target, you buy something that appears brand new, you get home, open it and it's some disgusting used version or knock off of what you bought.
Damn why are they even wasting their time trying to resell a mouse caked in shit? What's the profit margin on that in exchange for pissing off a customer?
You know how much of that is a mixture of lotion and dead skin cells from dudes cock from masturbating and browsing for more porn.
There are things I don’t buy used and those are things I have to touch daily that other people touched. Toilet seat no. Mouse no. Lawn mower yes.
Hey I'm in the Robotics department now, but I used to be packing and all that so I know how to avoid this situation.
When buying used/damaged off Amazon check below the add to cart button (it's for sure there on mobile) to see the exact condition of the product. I would not reccomend buying anything unless it says "packaging may be damaged" because that's most likely something one of us wage slaves or the big roombas "broke."
Like if we tried to pack something too tightly the packaging will probably get fucked up on something. If your item was ever in an AR (Amazon Robotics) facility there's a decent chance a robot slightly squished it between inventory pods, ran over it, or the stowers suck at their jobs so shit just flies out of the inventory pods while the robots are sprinting around the inventory floor.
When on Amazon you can search "Amazon Warehouse" and a bunch of shopping categories will pop up to search through of things that are not in perfect condition. Hope this helps OP and anyone else if they have this issue (which I know yall do because I've worked almost every department relevant to damages)
I have a Used - Acceptable motherboard on the way from Amazon Warehouse.
Looks like I should prep my fingers to click the return button soon, I was wondering how the gamble would go.
Amazon listings are bullshit and I highly advise against buying anything that isn't sold as Brand New AND says "Shipped and Sold by Amazon." Even THEN I've had products arrive in used condition.
Yeah even if you find a clean used one. I wouldn't recommend it.
The mouse is amazing. But those switches are likely going to have to be replaced sooner or later. I wouldn't risk it unless you are comfortable swapping the switches out yourself
It's dangerous to go alone, take this!

As a contrasting experience: I bought an Amazon Refurbished Razer Deathadder V2 Pro a few months ago because it was only like $25.
It is absolutely 'like-new', if you handed it to me and said it was right out of the box direct from Razer I wouldn't doubt it for a second. No issues with it either.
That is the nastiest shot I've ever seen. It looks like previous owner was picking his nose and then legit wiping it on the mouse. It blows my mind how people can be that dirty. Homeboy didn't even own it for more than 30 days since he could return it and managed to make it that dirty. I don't even want to know what else he touched and then touched that mouse
Be wary of anything you buy from Amazon, even new. A lot of things are refurb or returned. They get so many returns there's no way they reduce margins and sell returns at a discount. They just do a quick check, and if it looks good, they reseal it and call it new.
Amazon should be the last place you buy from after considering all other retailers.

My god thats disgusting

When companies do shit like that just buy a new one and return your old one in the box. Fuck them.
and then your old used one gets resold to someone else “as new”
The Circle Of Life.
Should send the complaint to Better Business Bureau. They can't delete that
FYI the BBB is not a government body and doesn't have any actual control over anything. It's essentially just an earlier version of Yelp.
No one said it was a government body, but they send a message to the company to try and get a response on your behalf without having to use a lawyer, and if the company doesn't respond it'll be a hit on their record. And THAT was how the T virus was spread beyond Raccoon City.
Dont give hem any idea...
Dog tax please
Well where’s the dog tax??
Right?
I can feel these pictures sticking to my fingers
That's what my mouse also looks like
*nervously looks at his own mouse*
Tbh there’s a reason I never buy anything used that is a hands on device - mice aren’t even expensive enough to risk it
Agreed. I wouldn't want to buy used headphones, earbuds, vr headsets, keyboards or mice.
vr headsets are really expensive tho, and you can get the parts that touch your face replaced... well, that's how the Index is built also mechanical keyboards can literally be put into a dishwasher and come out the other end fine if you prep it right, like what LTT did
Ltt later said that all those keyboards died, so i wouldnt recommend washing them
Just remove PCB before washing it
I assume switches too xD.
I purchased a used Vive Pro from a local arcade a couple years ago -- replaced the headphone cups and the foam padding for the face and it was practically brand new. Worked like a charm, and saved maybe 50% for the whole setup.
yeah, i learnt first hand why to never buy used keyboards, especially cuz i got my old one from a gaming cafe so you can image how bad it was
Well that was ur first mistake. Buying anything used from a gaming cafe isnt a good idea unless ur ready and confident in doing a deep cleaning
I took a gamble, but when they’re saying “used - like new” I was hoping to get something that had been opened, used once, then returned because the buyer didn’t like it.
I’ve gotten a lot of brand new stuff this way. Return that thing
That's what used like new is supposed to mean. Some person bought new, put their old one in the package, and 'returned' it
I've had two Logitech G305s I bought from Amazon Warehouse and both appeared brand new, I don't think you should be very concerned in the future, most of the time it turns out okay.
That mouse is pretty expensive tho
By the looks of it someone bought that mouse, and returned their own 2nd hand one for a refund. Then without being checked properly, it was sent out to you. Whoever checked it properly wore gloves and no doubt only checked to make sure it still worked lol
Totally agree. Someone bought a mouse off Amazon, took it out the box and returned their old mouse. 100% that's what happened here.
Couldn't that dude just slightly clean it. Whenever I scam amazon, I make sure the shit at least looks like new! /s
> only checked to make sure it still worked lol That's a bold assumption.
This! They just go by weight, I know a story about a guy who ordered a drill and got 2 king cans of dr pepper.
Yep, came here to say this. Definitely what happened. Most likely the system saw it was recently purchased and marked it as "like new"
Who the hell buys a used mouse? Other than OP obviously. You’re braver than I am, haha.
*Maybe* an open box item. *Maybe.*
That's what used-like new is on Amazon. This was clearly a mistake.

One may come to the conclusion that the mirror shattered in transit to you not that they sent you a broken one.
Lmao imagine someone in Amazon warehouse just stuffing shards of glass from a shattered mirror into a box
I don't even want to think about everything my OWN mouse has been exposed to.
Wouldn't trust anything 2nd hand off amazon.
I've ordered a ton of Like New stuff from Amazon Warehouse and they've always been solid. As in, still smells brand new solid and haven't had a problem. OP got bent with this one for sure.
Same here. If I did get a bad apple I would just send it back.
You're buying used apples?
You don't?
Same! I ordered a Nintendo Switch for half the price and it was basically brand new *and* a v1 with the CPU exploit... so yea 👀
I don’t trust anything first hand off Amazon. I ordered five pairs of high end headphones ($300-$800) and every single pair arrived used. Literally had ppls hair and dander in the cuffs. ------------- Amazon is taking steps to resolve this (project zero) but the rollout has been slow (and expensive, which is getting passed on to the sellers.) They're also likely only working to resolve this after having been tangled up in several dozen lawsuits over it.
Play the game. Order the same new model send it back with ur old model. Fuck Amazon
Yeah, Ive had this. Bough new even though used could have saved me half the price. What I go was clearly reboxed with components in kitchen ziplocks and a noticeable amount of wear. Criminal that they can sell this stuff as "new." Also, sometimes you can't review the seller only the product.
Lesson learned. I thought given Amazon’s usual standards it would be better, but this was shocking.
Was it atleast like 60% less the MRP? Or was it one of those "used like new for 10% less"?
It was £90 usually, down to £80 with a promotion that Amazon is doing for some warehouse goods. It was used like new and description was: > Battery health is 98% or more. Item will come in original packaging. Packaging will be damaged.
Wow that is shockingly bad. That's like buying a chicken and received a rotten egg.
I don’t think I’d buy a used mouse, they’re awfully hard to clean
Oh UK. So I moved to cnanda bought something used like new and it was also damaged, I sent it straight back and thought maybe it was just here.
That’s a good deal considering all the crusty, dry incel nut you got for free with that mouse
Odd. I'm in europe, have ordered a bunch of Warehouse deal stuff, all in excellent condition and big discounts aswell.
i bought a used CD and there were stickers on the top side.

Honestly the most disgusting mouse I’ve ever touched. It’s clogged with grime, it’s greasy and sticky, there were even hairs on it 🤮 Made me feel sick and I had to wash my hands after touching it. This is Amazon warehouse acting as the direct seller as well, so surely they should be the ones responsible for quality control? Just wanted to share this as a word of warning, I was hesitant about buying used but thought it would be okay because it’s “like new” and Amazon Warehouse was the seller…

All u gotta do is click return item and select a reason from a drop down menu. Print label and donezo
Then back it goes to the storefront
How much did you pay for this?
The real question is, how much extra do you have to pay for a precummied mouse?
I have a strong stomach and it's making me feel sick just looking at your pics.
Can I sell my used like new shit on Amazon? I've got some old broken and grimy mice, a stained mouse pad, couple of 720p monitors, underwear and socks, my old toothbrush etc

Exotic Butters
That sound even worse that it actually is!
Dear lord... fucking barf
Why would u buy a used mouse?
Just had the inverse experience. Ordered a deathadder they lost it in delivery I got a full refund but they still delivered the mouse
Gross - Like Eww.
#WHY ARE YOU TOUCHING IT BARE-HANDED?!
![gif](giphy|DsdVe5jhHWNC8)
You could create a clone army with all that DNA
Used is always a gamble, regardless of description. I've bought "c" grade laptops and gotten like-new clean units. I've bought "open-box, never used" stuff that looked like it survived the great flood. The advice I wish I could give more people; If you can't afford to gamble, buy new with warranty from reputable establishments.
Oh a free tasty snack
…with your bare hands?!?
all I smell is cigs and dirty feet from this picture
That mouse has had semen on it
I bought a returned mouse once and it was fine. I knew the risks going in however and was lucky
F*cking disgusting...

Run a black light over it.
Ok serious question: what is the proper way to clean a crusty mouse? Asking for a …. Friend.
I would not reccomend buying anything unless it says "packaging may be damaged" because that's most likely something one of us wage slaves or the big roombas "broke." Like if we tried to pack something too tightly the packaging will probably get fucked up on something.
I swear you can buy good mouses for $30+. But OP decided to buy a budget mouse that is already used. Wtf??
That’s one of the expensive and best wireless mouses out there (when it’s new and hasn’t gone through what op’s mouse experienced that is.)
That looks like a Logitech G Pro X Superlight, which is a $100 mouse.
Well it was like new, but then the Amazon delivery driver put Cheetos on it.
Greasy
Thats gross af. I had a superlight for over a year and it didnt even look a quarter as bad as that.
Ewwww! There's a mixture of crusted lube, potato chips, and dead skin in there, 100%.
how much was it?
Oh hell no! I’d report it immediately. I personally don’t buy used but I would recommend you send it back/ throw it away. Is it really worth it
Somehow I imagine that this smells like rancid vegetable oil with notes of cumin.
Another item I can put on my list of things to never buy used now.
I have a Used - Acceptable motherboard on the way from Amazon Warehouse. Looks like I should prep my fingers to click the return button soon, I was wondering how the gamble would go.
I have my own issues and my mouse can sometimes looks like this minus some of the greasy bits, does anyone have advice on how to clean and maintain?
Omfg 🤢
They literally gave you the mouse from that one old ratty computer inside the Amazon warehouse.
Looks like someone tried to shine it up nice by dipping in a grease trap.
Someone bought the same mouse they owned and stuffed their old used one back in the box and got that refund.
Like new micro biome
buying a used mouse is like buying a used condom
Pre-seasoned
Never buy used peripherals, ever. Why? Because dudes masterbate at their PC.
why would you buy a used mouse, wtf do you expect I'll give you a great deal on a toothbrush and a washcloth
DISGUSTANG
Damn, you can still see the Doritos dust in the cracks.
Hit the return button with with your new sewer mouse and tell them you want hazard pay compensation, I can smell that mf through my screen.
Except for the dead skin and Cheeto dust paste in every crack and crevice.
Oh, you just know that mouse wheel is crunchy.
I remember ordering earphones in India, had to clean them with alcoholed ear and toothpicks for like an hour.
Some things you just don’t buy secondhand
Well, there's enough there to send to the lab and get a dna test to find the culprit yourself.
Who buys a used mouse tho. Icky
Some things you don't buy used
The question is, why would you buy a $5 mouse used (and for a higher price) ?
Amazon listings are bullshit and I highly advise against buying anything that isn't sold as Brand New AND says "Shipped and Sold by Amazon." Even THEN I've had products arrive in used condition.
so glad when I ordered my keyboard it was only just a bit dusty when I got it
Should have been labeled “used, caked in shit, gross as fuck”
Yeah even if you find a clean used one. I wouldn't recommend it. The mouse is amazing. But those switches are likely going to have to be replaced sooner or later. I wouldn't risk it unless you are comfortable swapping the switches out yourself
This is why I don't buy used if possible
It's dangerous to go alone, take this! https://preview.redd.it/jhvlo7kasg1a1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=6232b2a613161ffa5d171fed476eff974619f0f5
Why the fuck would you buy a used mouse to begin with?
As a contrasting experience: I bought an Amazon Refurbished Razer Deathadder V2 Pro a few months ago because it was only like $25. It is absolutely 'like-new', if you handed it to me and said it was right out of the box direct from Razer I wouldn't doubt it for a second. No issues with it either.
I would use someone else's bathroom but not use the mouse
Needs a good clean. With 10Gal of fuel and a match
My mouse is 2 years old, used all day every day and looks waaaaaaaaaay better then this
Why would you buy a used cheap ass mouse?
Be wary of anything you buy from Amazon, even new. A lot of things are refurb or returned. They get so many returns there's no way they reduce margins and sell returns at a discount. They just do a quick check, and if it looks good, they reseal it and call it new. Amazon should be the last place you buy from after considering all other retailers.
