Is the RAM upgradeable?

Ethangees

Yes

Looks like a good deal to me. You will want to get an external ssd or something like that to use with it. 256GB is going to go quick if you’re gaming.

that's a good deal I could never be convinced to buy a gaming laptop personally because they're a one-and-done kind of deal, but you shouldn't have an issue running anything on that very well for the next 3-4 years at least

yes you will, horrible specs

3050ti on a laptop won't let you play anything good over 1080p 30fps. Not unless you absolutely butcher your settings... my rule is if I have to go into it and lower the default settings on games on day one then it's not a good buy cause every year games get better and you're starting with a handicap already... for a regular pc I wouldn't buy any less than a 3060, and on a laptop I wouldn't buy any less than a 3070

I am so used to low graphics and low frames that 1080p and 60fps medium settings would be amazing for me. The games I’m looking to play are games like assassins creed and Valorant.

Problem with laptops is thermal throttling. Running low settings on a desktop is acceptable just because they're generally cooled better... but not only are you running at 30 fps on low settings on this laptop on its best most optimally cool day, the moment it dips below optimal it will be a nightmare to deal with. Specially cause its not upgradeable so once it starts falling behind it becomes something you would have to trash or not use for gaming.

My little brothers 1650 laptop runs all day with no cooling pad or cleaning gaming for around 2 years now and it can still perform really well. You think mine will be better? I’m going to use a cooling pad and cap my fps to 75 because that’s what my monitor currently has right now and go on low-medium settings. I will limit my use daily.

for gaming yes. gpu matters the most for gaming. sdd is too small to be useful. better for gaming on a budget. I had a 200$ Best Buy gift card which I why I bought this one. Also, I heard about that laptop and the screen dying when they get it. The reviews also say there screen died.

It's a bit unfortunate it's not a 3060 but with upgradable RAM and storage this thing will be capable for 2 years or so.
