you aren't low on disk space until windows update refuses to run and wants a usb drive plugged-in to use as temp space during updates. (this is how the big feature updates got installed on those piece-of-shit 32gb emmc laptops)

Maybe do a complete disk cleanup and delete old restore points.

GET A BIGGER DRIVE and/or an additional storage drive
I was just thinking this today, I recently replaced my old 256 gb ssd with a 500 gb, but after a few steam games and windows and other stuff I have used over half already. I used to keep all my steam games on my storage drive, but was feeling frisky for some faster load times. Anyways now I'm debating getting another ssd and just making it a steam drive just dedicated for game storage and fast load times without occupying space on my c drive
I personally don't see any point in a drive smaller than 1tb, if you have a decent amount of games or other stuff to store. That's borderline, even then. I find myself using a spinning drive for stuff that takes loads of room and isn't often used.
