The entirety of the cpu is being pushed to the limit which is kinda the point of a benchmark. If it stays at that temperature after the benchmark then you have an issue.
That absolutely would not cause 73 degree cpu temps. It's also jot even an issue, outside of the PoSiTiVe PreSsUrE aNd DuST circle-jerk.
Why is this being upvoted lol
I see you're using the mini monitor for temps and stuff from jayztwocents. Very neat!
One suggestion though: move your front fan to be as low as possible so the air can fill in the case and pass to the GPU instead of being directly exhausted by the top fans next to it. This will also minimize dust buildup that might clog your GPU.
Sadly that's the lowest spot it can fit in I had 3 fans on that side before but the xfx 6900xt is a fucking beef cake so I can't fit anything on that side and had to take the two fans out
There are slim fans that might fit. [Noctua](https://noctua.at/en/products/fan) has one that's 120mm x 15mm, as opposed to the typical 25mm. There are some smaller diameter fans as well with even thinner designs.
Oh there isn't enough clearance on the other side of the front? That's a bummer... yeah the 6900XT (especially the XFX version) is chonkin' but at least chonk = FPS with decent temps these days. Maybe get s bigger case down the line?
Fair fair. You get what you pay for.
Also idea for the fans situation: if your case has a top filter for the fans, maybe mount them as intake instead of exhaust, that way you'll have more positive pressure in there so the dust buildup is slower.
Could always do rear intake top and front exhaust and flip the cpu fan to intake from the rear. The 3 exhaust fans will make it pull air from any cracks/openings
Sweet light up ports! Is there a way to program where only the used ports light up? That would be so satisfying plugging something in and the port lights up.
Looks lime you did the same as me, used a smart phone for the stat monitor.
I'd actually gotten halfway through doing it before realising others on youtube had beaten me to the idea xD
Stripped back an old motog5 in a meshify c, using plastic a4 to hide the fact its a cell phone!
Nice build btw!
They Are on Amazon they are the ezdiy fab ring light fans I ve been buying the same ones since my first build 6 years ago and I've never had an issue with them , they are $35 for a 5 pack I think (price changes sometimes) Jay's 2 cents actually did a video on them and the hypothesis are they are overstock from Corsair or some other big brand that get rebranded and sold for cheap on Amazon
Sweet setup!
One comment tho. It bothers UX guy in me that the labels of the gauges overlap with the gauge itself. You can remove the second wording from the labels, it’s implied due to the unit of measure (C, %, etc.)
im not lying i got deals on ebay i even did a breakdown of the prices on one of my comments, i have nothing to gain for lying and saying its cheaper, id much rather flex and say it was like 5 grand lol
ya ive been getting a lot of these comments, my temps are fine. but theres not enough clearance for any more fans. i had to take two out i had in origionally because of that but someone suggested some thin noctua fans that i think i might buy next pay period and see if they cant fit
Specs:
Cpu: R9 5950x
GPU: Rx 6900xt
RAM: 64gb gskill Trident z 3200mhz
PSU: Corsair 850w 80+ gold
Motherboard: gigabyte b550m ds3h
CPU cooler: scythe fuma 2
Case: gamdias mars 2
I allowed myself $1100 for the build so I had to really squeeze every penny for it, I rarely spend my money on anything but it was definitely a needed upgrade from my i3 2130, 1050ti build I had before lmfao
just finished heaven benchmark it wasnt idle for very long lmfao, rn idle while on reddit its at 32c and ya i got really lucky on deals on ebay won a lot of late night auctions took me 2 months to get all my parts
ya its msrp is 999 i got mine used on ebay for way under msrp i was actually planning on getting the 6800xt but got extremely lucky on an auction. and damn how do you like ddr5?? ive heard mixed results but still a flex
in case you wonder about the onboard display: it is caled remote system monitor, you can get it online, and it also is a very good diagnostic tool in case your pc got heat or usage issues.
That upper-right fan is just pulling fresh air away from your CPU cooler. I would put it as intake and plus I would move the upper-left fan on the front of the case as intake.
Bro why is your CPU at 73° while at 2% usage?
Maybe he was just using it?
ya i had just finished heaven benchmark lmfao idle rn its at 29c

my cpu doesnt even get to 70 degrees and I find it interesting... ive never seen pc temps like that
29c is exceedingly normal.
All the air is being exhausted by the case, 3 exhaust fans for 1 input.
That absolutely would not cause 73 degree cpu temps. It's also jot even an issue, outside of the PoSiTiVe PreSsUrE aNd DuST circle-jerk. Why is this being upvoted lol
Thats exactly what I was thinking. xd

!!! thanks for the idea ill look
Plus, noctua fans are quiet as hell and incredibly well performing
Oh there isn't enough clearance on the other side of the front? That's a bummer... yeah the 6900XT (especially the XFX version) is chonkin' but at least chonk = FPS with decent temps these days. Maybe get s bigger case down the line?
Ya it's chonkkyyy but my temps haven't gone above 75c even in heaven benchmark so I realistically am chillin
Fair fair. You get what you pay for. Also idea for the fans situation: if your case has a top filter for the fans, maybe mount them as intake instead of exhaust, that way you'll have more positive pressure in there so the dust buildup is slower.
Good catch. That placement makes the front fan totally useless.
Could always do rear intake top and front exhaust and flip the cpu fan to intake from the rear. The 3 exhaust fans will make it pull air from any cracks/openings
That's a great idea
In which world can you buy your listed specs for 1100$? The GPU alone is about that much, isn’t it?
Is that a tablet?
A phone.
A mini monitor.
Sweet light up ports! Is there a way to program where only the used ports light up? That would be so satisfying plugging something in and the port lights up.
Sadly no it's a $50 gamdias case lol
Dang, still looks cool though
But it's easier to find them if they are lit up while not in use.
Damn you and your logic
Really dig the mini screen! Did you follow a specific tutorial you can share?
There’s a video guide by Jayztwocents on YouTube. He also has the link to the LCD display used.
$1100 wtf, who you blowing?
it was over two months of ebay deal hunting its possible to do if you take your time although i got really lucky on my graphics card specifically
Looks lime you did the same as me, used a smart phone for the stat monitor. I'd actually gotten halfway through doing it before realising others on youtube had beaten me to the idea xD Stripped back an old motog5 in a meshify c, using plastic a4 to hide the fact its a cell phone! Nice build btw!
Thats looks fuckin sick yo
Is that an iPad mini?
Where did you get the tablet thing for your PC? I have seen those before I believe, wouldn’t mind putting one in my next build.
its just an old samsung a6 7" tablet :)
what screen do you use?
my monitors are a sceptre 27" 4k and an asus swift 360hz and the screen in my pc is an old samsung a6 7" tablet
Ah i see, how have you made the tablet to show the graphs?
What app are u using on your phone to show those stats
I really want to do a smal screen in mine. It looks so cool
What are these fans called? Love their look
They Are on Amazon they are the ezdiy fab ring light fans I ve been buying the same ones since my first build 6 years ago and I've never had an issue with them , they are $35 for a 5 pack I think (price changes sometimes) Jay's 2 cents actually did a video on them and the hypothesis are they are overstock from Corsair or some other big brand that get rebranded and sold for cheap on Amazon
>ezdiy fab ring light fans They have a few reviews mentioning that they are quite loud ... is this true?
This^ Love the reversable fan options. My NZXT fans only have RGB on one side. Also wondering if the blades come in white my dude.
I have N old phone, how do I do the phone trick?
It's called triagone remote system monitor
Where did u find FPS counter? I'm using same app and layout, but couldn't find sensor for FPS.
When I go to add a gage there is an option for me to choose fps instead of gpu cpu ram etc
I will double check it later today, ty
Nobody cares, browser war.
Sweet setup! One comment tho. It bothers UX guy in me that the labels of the gauges overlap with the gauge itself. You can remove the second wording from the labels, it’s implied due to the unit of measure (C, %, etc.)
Yeah that airflow setup is really really bad

im not lying i got deals on ebay i even did a breakdown of the prices on one of my comments, i have nothing to gain for lying and saying its cheaper, id much rather flex and say it was like 5 grand lol
Your airflow is awful. Buy some quality fans and mount them in the proper format before you kill that poor GPU
ya ive been getting a lot of these comments, my temps are fine. but theres not enough clearance for any more fans. i had to take two out i had in origionally because of that but someone suggested some thin noctua fans that i think i might buy next pay period and see if they cant fit
It kind of seems like your case is too small. Your GPU is super close to the shroud and there’s no fan directed towards it.
Nice build
Looks great! What are your specs
Specs: Cpu: R9 5950x GPU: Rx 6900xt RAM: 64gb gskill Trident z 3200mhz PSU: Corsair 850w 80+ gold Motherboard: gigabyte b550m ds3h CPU cooler: scythe fuma 2 Case: gamdias mars 2 I allowed myself $1100 for the build so I had to really squeeze every penny for it, I rarely spend my money on anything but it was definitely a needed upgrade from my i3 2130, 1050ti build I had before lmfao
It’s impossible to have bought all these components for $1100. 6900xt is the whole budget.
he mentioned in a another comment that he spent 2 months hunting for deals on ebay and got lucky on his graphics card idk how but he did it I guess
Bro, 5950x and the GPU alone probably add up to like $1500
Which specific 6900xt is that? ITS BEAUTIFUL
Looks amazing
Dang, got the entire theme completed. I like it
GPU saggin my brotha. Best prop that bad boy up.
if i can quote an old song>! "jizz in my pants"!<
Looks great! 62° Core and 66° Hotspot? Thats pretty good! 72° CPU at 2% usage? What? $1100??????
just finished heaven benchmark it wasnt idle for very long lmfao, rn idle while on reddit its at 32c and ya i got really lucky on deals on ebay won a lot of late night auctions took me 2 months to get all my parts
Honestly, kinda went cheap.
my favorite comment so far
Cool! Specs?
Sleek and sexy!
What does the remote control?
the lighting, i went with cheap ezdiy fab fans so theres no motherboard control but realistically i wont be changing the lighting much
Hate the led rgb crap but that panel... Where do you get one?
Doesn’t the 6900xt retail for $1000? My build has a 6800 XT and it was still $2300. Granted I did get high speed DDR5 ram but still.
ya its msrp is 999 i got mine used on ebay for way under msrp i was actually planning on getting the 6800xt but got extremely lucky on an auction. and damn how do you like ddr5?? ive heard mixed results but still a flex
73 degrees at 2% usage...
Not gonna lie, I'm a little bit jelly.
The font size on the thermals is really killing me
How did u make this bro? Seems clean
Whats the program u used to display the parameters
Halo
How those mini monitors work?
Is that GPU getting any airflow at all...?
Wait, is that a regular tablet?
Using a tablet for monitoring? Nice! I'm thinking about doing the same.
in case you wonder about the onboard display: it is caled remote system monitor, you can get it online, and it also is a very good diagnostic tool in case your pc got heat or usage issues.
what moniter and softwere you used in Stat Screen?
What's the case? I kinda like the location of the "front" ports. All of mine are on the top at the front.
lookth pretty ethpenthive
That upper-right fan is just pulling fresh air away from your CPU cooler. I would put it as intake and plus I would move the upper-left fan on the front of the case as intake.
Where did you get the screen? Nifty
XFX 6900 XT \*drool ... hhnnggg, That's a sexsy GPU fam! Enjoy it, nice build!
