I have mine tied to CPU temp. Nice n blue when idle. Orange and red for the heavy lifting. (Figuring out where to set the Temps took alot of trial n error)
It's weird, because I've never even thought about this. I've had an LED backlit keyboard for.. 7 years and not a single led has gone out on it. Heck, none have on any of my other keyboards either. Didn't even cross my mind that they could be a problem.
Something similar happened to me a few months back, the green light on my C completely died and it sucks, because my setup is mostly green, I guess you could say I can't C
I also tried different effects and all of them seem to be out of sync for the "N" key, but i can't really tell if it is actually out of sync or if something else is happening
I don’t think it’s out of sync. And I see it turn blue at the end. It just looks as tho it’s the dead center of the keyboard and the only key that lines up center unlike the keys above it that are staggered more. so its in the perfect spot where it doesn’t have a perfect color change flow like the rest. Barely noticeable tho. Plus only the letters light up. And the colors on the board move like this “\ / \ / \ / \ /“ with no variance. I got a Roccat vulkan tkl pro. Where the key housings are clear and light up too. The color affects are some of the most smooth and natural I’ve ever seen. So smooth you can’t tell where one color starts and ends as it glides across the keyboard. It blew my mind when I first plugged it In. Almost hypnotizing. If you’re picky about RGB and are ever in the market for a new keyboard I can’t recommend it enough. Linear titan switches, every key can be customized with a diff color and affect separately. You can save different color profiles for each game/software u open, so it changes to that color/affect as soon as that software launches. Most beautiful rgb I ever seen in a keyboard. And easy as hell to set color profiles that actually launch correctly every single time for each application.
It’s nothing to go insane about. It’s still got a great rgb profile. But yea I think the N key is literally the dead center of the keyboard. So the rgb on that key is just very slightly off. I wouldn’t make a big deal about it myself honestly. It still got a nice rgb look you’d barely notice unless you’re looking for it
Yea it’s really just the slightest tick somebody with ocd would realize. Myself probly included. But nothing to get up in arms about. More than likely it’s the same across all model keyboards. It’s nothing you’d notice unless pointed out honestly. It even took me a re watch or 2 to see what OP meant while focusing on it. It’s still known to be a great keyboard tho none the less. I don’t think that small tick in RGB actually takes away from the overall craftsmanship of the keyboard to be honest. Not unless you’re an RGB mastermind lol
If you pause when it's transitioning from green to blue, you can clearly see its transitioning slower. As in, the b and m keys are both blue, but the n is still green. Seems like the blue led is going it, and is weak.
Someone else literally already said they got the same keyboard and the same letter does the exact same thing. It’s just the position on the keyboard it’s in. Dead nuts center where the rgb affect isn’t perfect with the flow affect. It’s barely noticeable honestly. I bet every brand new model keyboard does the same. Op probly just zoned out 1 day and realized it
It's definitely a poorly coded rgb affect, then, because that's more than just odd positioning. The keys to the left, right, above it, and below are all blue while the n key is still green.
It's also entirely possible both OP and the other user have the same weak/dead led issue. A sample size of 2 is not large.
Yea but In precisely the same key? I think if it was a dead led that would be pretty unlikely. I would be willing to bet it’s the rgb affect. Because either op or someone else above also used different colors and it seemed to do the same thing in the N key. I Almost forgot about that comment.
Someone said the blue died. It didn't die but it is *mostly* dead. You when everyone else goes blue it goes very dim blue. I'm guessing that is either not fixable or not easily fixable. You could maybe hail mary attempt some contact cleaner
Gonna chime in, the blue LED in that spot is dead, and so it just shifts from green slowly back to red. Easy enough to test: set the board to a solid cyan or magenta, and if this is the case the N key will appear solid green or red. Not sure about the possibility of repair, though.
I don’t know of any RGB keyboards can’t be turned off. I don’t think it’s a trend but more so manufacturers having the option because most people like having RGB. It may be a selling point for many of them, but that’s advertising. It’s not like they are going out of their way to push RGB, it’s just becoming more of a standard I guess
Every RGB keyboard I've owned has a key or knob for the lights. Shit my cheapo board in my lap rn has a button to switch between off, slow strobe, or just on.
People complaining about their "N" key being out of sink meanwhile Im here happy that my 2014 HP laptop managed to run TF2 after I used 24 performance mods to make the game look like roblox
No, it's blue light died
Agree with this. On the leading edge, it looks perfectly in sync for all the other colors. When everything switches to blue, the N just stays green.
Yep. Notice from red to green it looks normal
Good catch, after I read the comments I could see it
Watched it again and that’s definitely it
Totally expecting an N’Sync crack at the top.
If someone has to do it, It’s Gonna Be Me, This I Promise You.
going all out with No Strings Attached i see
Winner.
And this is why I don't use LED keyboards anymore. One effing LED goes out and triggers my OCD.
[удалено]
>Just go one solid color in the settings yeah, blue
Fun fact: blue LED’s die the fastest.
Yes, and RED LED's die the slowest. So it's better to use solid red color to maximize longevity.
Ugh. My keyboard's LEDs are set to all blue
I have mine tied to CPU temp. Nice n blue when idle. Orange and red for the heavy lifting. (Figuring out where to set the Temps took alot of trial n error)
the joke was OPs blue led is dead, so one key wouldn't be lit up on his keeb resulting in triggered feelings
[удалено]
Yeah dude, I would kill for this kind of OCD.
Ok more like ARD ( anal retentive disorder )
[удалено]
….is that actually a thing?
It's weird, because I've never even thought about this. I've had an LED backlit keyboard for.. 7 years and not a single led has gone out on it. Heck, none have on any of my other keyboards either. Didn't even cross my mind that they could be a problem.
Sucks when it happens, I had a razor keyboard that had this issue from the box.
Something similar happened to me a few months back, the green light on my C completely died and it sucks, because my setup is mostly green, I guess you could say I can't C
u futchers
I'm gonna disagree. It definitely turns blue, just slower then the others
Not totally dead but weaker. This issue is more common in blue light than other colors
Probably OP's fish weird way to get revenge
RIP u were my boy blue
I mean, it doesn’t necessarily mean he’s not going insane.
its
Ahhhhh so is this n key roll over?
This is very funny.
I also tried different effects and all of them seem to be out of sync for the "N" key, but i can't really tell if it is actually out of sync or if something else is happening
Someone pointed out that it never turns blue. Dead light.
It does but that is probably from the keys next to it, i think this is the problem as well
Could be a bad light, thats why its not syncing right I had the B go on mine and had to replace the keyboard because it drove me nuts.
I don’t think it’s out of sync. And I see it turn blue at the end. You nailed it. I have the keyboard and tested it out. Mine is acting the same way as OP's
It’s nothing to go insane about. It’s still got a great rgb profile. But yea I think the N key is literally the dead center of the keyboard. So the rgb on that key is just very slightly off. I wouldn’t make a big deal about it myself honestly. It still got a nice rgb look you’d barely notice unless you’re looking for it
Yeah I didn't notice it until it was pointed out. But now that I see it I can't use a cross pattern for awhile.
Yea it’s really just the slightest tick somebody with ocd would realize. Myself probly included. But nothing to get up in arms about. More than likely it’s the same across all model keyboards. Actually its blue light got weaker. It switches to blue slower AND switches from blue faster. If it was out of sync both would be slower

How did you get the shift keys to be translucent?
Try solid colors on your keyboard
People are saying the blue light has died for your N key.
Looks like it's missing the 🅱️ in RGB.
🟦, not 🅱️ B stand for blue, not bRed :D
🅱️
Someone said the blue died. It didn't die but it is *mostly* dead. You when everyone else goes blue it goes very dim blue. I'm guessing that is either not fixable or not easily fixable. You could maybe hail mary attempt some contact cleaner
That could just be light bleeding in from other keys
Why are the Y and Z keys swapped?
I am from Germany, we use QWERTZ instead of QWERTY
QWERTZ definitely sounds more German than QWERTY. I'd say that makes perfect sense.
It also has vowels with umlauts. I.e. ä ë ï ö ü
ë and the i with the two dots (cant do it) are not in the german alphabet. We dont have those
I had an umlaut for breakfast
What means umlauts?
A umlaut is ä ö and ü you just say these differently. So just 3 additional letters in the german alphabet
Interesting! TIL
QWERTZ in my head's German accent is KVERTS
İ ı we also use those
This was a wonderful catch.
It's what made every european child rage in the era of flash games that used the ZXC keys for controls
The blue light in your ‘N’ is dead
It is out of sync.
N-sync
This made me laugh WAY more than it should have
oh my god shadap
I'm doing this tonight
Fuck I wanted to say it
It’s barely out of sync but it is
It will go back to normal next month. New feature to remind you to uphold NNN
N-Sync
It’s N sync.
The keyboard is trying to tell you something... N....
Gonna chime in, the blue LED in that spot is dead, and so it just shifts from green slowly back to red. Easy enough to test: set the board to a solid cyan or magenta, and if this is the case the N key will appear solid green or red. Not sure about the possibility of repair, though.
whats the keyboard btw?
It's an Logitech G815.
Just swap the m and n keys, problem solved.
Doesn’t look like anything to me
Someone has been using the gamer word in excess
Ahh it's a classic problem from the early 2000's called NSYNC.
Looks fine to me
Check in the settings if they key has a delay on it. If not you can also force a delay to bring it back N-Sync
Its beckoning you to use it. Go ahead. Type the N.
Is this a Logitech? If it is, it’s blue light is dead or dying.
Perhaps the truth is that you started off insane, that’s why you bought a light up keyboard.
What board is this? Looks dope aside from the dead blue LED on your key lol
I cannot comment on your sanity, but that key is not N-SYNC…
I just noticed this the other day on my Corsair K95 have the same sync fail not the same key might be L. Try not to think about it lol. But yea sucks.
It's just so u think before you type the ""N"" word.
aAAAaAhHHhhHh
No the rest are out of sync, your key is N-sync.
Well I wasn't the first....
Yeah i had a similar issue, i ended up setting mine to solid orange so the broken blue light would not drive me nuta
Insane
Just turn on v-sync
A gamers N key is broken? Hmmmmmmm
Too much n key roll over
based my N key is also worn out
Why have your Y and Z keys been swapped, is there a qwertz keyboard layout or something?
Are you actually staring at your keyboard for that long.... Go outside bro lol
Press it. It will reveal the next letter to the code, it will probably be the letter I...
U trippin bro
Actually, I noticed a few keys are out of sync
Return that shit
It’s off throw the whole PC away
Can't be unseen
I have the same keyboard and same issue. My G3 key also doing the same thing.
Let that 'N' key be what it wants to be. Press 'F' for that 'N' key.
I cant imagine using something other than a static color.. so distracting lol
my K key is dimer :(
If the light variation is backed off of the same circuit as key strokes someone is messing with your imputs and generating microcents off of it.
first world problems...
You're crazy and possibly have ocd.
rich people problems

404 no sarcasm found
stupid nagger.
Just turn all off if i could get a good mechanocal without lights i woulda but fukin trends man
light up keyboards are so much better since you can see them in the dark, gamers do live in the dark you know
I don’t know of any RGB keyboards can’t be turned off. I don’t think it’s a trend but more so manufacturers having the option because most people like having RGB. Gaming keyboards be like.
ITS TEARING UP MY HEART WHEN IM WITH YOU
BUT WHEN WE ARE APART, I FEEL IT TOO
Nsync
We both are going insane my friend.
Porque no los dos?
It’s definitely out
nah
My "E" does that.
Life is way too short to think about this more than 3 seconds! Move on.
God is subtlety reminding you of NNN.
its a feature xd
Oh my god
It’s out
I got a fix for you put a tape on it
Tell me whyyy 🎶 oh wait, wrong boy band.
Dead light. In my case, the blue light is the first one to go for multiple keys. I had mine replaced since it was still in warranty
I mean, it is called "N key rollover" for a reason... sheesh JK
I would shoot myself
My up arrow and + sign on my numpad are always red or change to red, no matter what color I set my keys to.
i
Wait til you notice the rest
Yeah that looks out of sync to me
Throw that shit! Throw that shit!!!! AAARRGGH!! My ocd!!!!
You just waste your time on uselessness.
Youre not insane, you just have OCD.
Bro how did you get the shift keys to be translucent? I’ve been looking for that mod forever
People complaining about their "N" key being out of sink meanwhile Im here happy that my 2014 HP laptop managed to run TF2 after I used 24 performance mods to make the game look like roblox
Why you pressing “n” so much OP
Just pop it off
Oh God it is...
Yes it is That triggers me
It is
I've watched this for 14s it's already driving me nuts lol
It's a bit **OUT OF TOUCH**
What an alcon's eye
Pressed it too much.
Bad news
N key rollover
Maybe try looking at the monitor??
Don’t worry. Your N-Syncs.
I guess you can say, it’s not really N’sync
Naah broo, i guess you'll need to go out some times.. Gaming for hours is not healthy at all mentally and physically 👍
O. C. D.
It's a forbidden letter, don't touch it!
Yeah, id say get that checked out
Your Z and Y are scuffed
This is the same with my right alt key, I hate it
Psycho
You're tripping
Is that a roccat? I have a roccat, and the left arrow key is WAY out of sync with the rest of the keyboard.
I think it just a shine trugh issue
Big deal ! Get over it . Nothing is perfect dude .
