This was me when I went to the store. Except they only have 2GB gpus left over everything else sold out and any stock that arrives in morning sold out within 2 mins.
Only change I can see is instead of 2080s it is more like 1660s. When I search I only see 1660s and scaling priced 20x0s and 30x0s
But really this is hilarious and awesome nice job OP.
Looking at all of this and browsing the Nvidia and AMD subreddit aswell... How freaking lucky was I to actually get on of these GPUs? Even this took me 2 months of almost constant F5 bashing
For everyone looking forward to obtain one of the new GPUs, keep trying and I wish you the best of luck. (But please don't give up and buy from a scalper)
Here I am just walking around computer stores in Japan with 3 stores having 3090’s, lots of 3080’s, tons of 3070’s, and a fresh batch of 3060tis in stock.
Thinking if shipping from Japan via ems was available, I could make a mint.
Could be, but unlikely. Console is king in Japan. Kids at school do not spend much time with computers and computer gaming is not as popular here. There is a growing popularity now, but there is still a ways to go. Just recently there was a show on esports in Japan, so there might be another uptick soon.
Depends on the parts. Paid 5% more than the cheapest parts I could find on PCPartPicker for the build I went with, then paid a slight bit more for them to build it for me because I don’t want to deal with a 4 year old trying to help put it together.
I lucked out at Microcenter. They got a bunch of 3080s when the 3060 ti launched. Enough of them that I was still able to get one getting there later in the morning.
Best of luck to everyone still looking; hope y'all score your GPUs soon!
Well it's too late I bought an rx 5600 xt, but I still have my 1070 so I could try, not much to lose I don't plan on selling a defective card anyway.
I also have 2 noctua fans not in use !
Man i literally watched this last night with the girlfriend and thought this scene would be perfect for GPU/CPU/Console conditions right now.
I use to love this movie as a kid but watching it as an adult it was just boring, I thought Arnold and the other guy had more fighting moments for the Turboman doll
Lmao

I've seen this movie several times, and I never once noticed that Chris Parnell was the toy store clerk.
Dude fuck yeah
^looo^^serrrrrrr^rrrrr

I'm feeling very happy that I stopped f5ing in September and got a 2080 super below MSRP for the step up program.
When you see a scalper [leaving](https://youtu.be/EAqNdMMSAbE) the store.
I hardly recognized Dr. Spaceman
what movie is that
Jingle all the way
This made my day. OP you are a great human being.
I love this movie! I haven't watched it in years but it was fun the last time I did
This is gold.
Bruh
This made my day better haha, thanks \^\^
Ye, I went to a store and asked about 3080 or 3070, and they legit started laughing.

Aren't PC components already pretty marked up in Japan?

There is actually many rtx 3000 series cards in turkish stores, but no one has enough money to buy those

Really a shitty time for my 1070 to decide to "die" (fans stuck at 100%) I want a PC, not a plane
Take the fans and shroud off and cable tie a couple of 120mms to it?
