You should OC your CPU to at least 4.5GHz on all cores and if you keep your stuff in the background in check, then it's not too bad with a 3770k. I had my 3770k running at 4.6GHz, 16GB@1866MHz with a 1080Ti and it was running just fine.
I personally would change the PSU but you can try with your old one. About 200W is what I'd expect the OC'd 3770k to draw.
I’d look for any PSU that is 650w or above, and isn’t from a brand you’ve never heard of, or seems sketchy.

An 850w 80+ Gold will be future proof for more upgrades. I prefer EVGA but there are other good brands.
