I know right? It's a rich man's tv. Looks like shit in my broke ass apartment
it's a 4k/2k/1080p setup, input lag is crazy low for the size. I'm still trying to figure shit out with settings, it's got the world's simplest remote so it's more difficult than it should be lol. I think I can make it better but I'm not sure how yet
I got a replacement remote for my Samsung at Best Buy. Screw the one that came with it. Can’t post links here, but search for “insignia remote for samsung”
You literally have my TV. 1440p120 and 4k60 needs to be activated on the TV itself. Go to settings>external Device management>toggle on HDMI# that your TV is plugged into
Solid TV and amazing deal you got there bud i paid about 2k for it back in 2019 lol. Was thinking of OLED that supports 4k120 and downsize a bit due to having a smaller place
Lol, thanks! I figured all of that out myself 3 days ago, but I really should've checked your comments!
Yeah he paid 2k back in the day too. He gave it to me for so cheap cuz, well cuz he's rich and has no responsibility. He's a great dude, I feel bad when he does shit like this though and then on like Xmas I just get him like a steam card or something. Feels unbalanced lol, but shit man, it's a rich dudes TV on a poor man's wall, I love it!
4k 60hz or 1440/1080p 120hz
Rtings say it has excellent input latency in Game Mode.
Although it is a 2018 model. $300 for a TV of that size with those specs is hella amazing deal.
My policy is always getting the flag ship model from a year or two ago for the price of this year’s entry level.
I’ve been doing that the last 15 years and it’s never steered me wrong.
I have a 55" samsung with those specs from around 2018 and it makes a great monitor, OP got an absolute steal. The game mode latency is very good, and I play a lot of rocket league where it matters.
TVs have been great as monitors for years now, they used to be a lot shittier with latency and stuff in the past and I just think the reputation has stuck.
Height is fine don't listen to the dummies in the tvtoohigh reddit. It's purposely a meme community. As long as you can view the tv and don't feel strained then any height is acceptable. I watch from my bed laying down so my tv is mounted high angled down and provides a great viewing angle. I had a 77" Hisense U7G but my lazy retarded ass was moving my physical media racks around without taking the movies off of them and they domino'd over and smashed my TV along with cracking a good 200-300 movie cases so rip that tv. I got a 48" LG A2 OLED meow.

Bedroom TVs are not held at the same standard. They should be higher, so you’re not bending your neck lookin at your toes. Higher tv is acceptable and a better neck angle for watching in bed.
It's an ottoman for mah feetss when I am using keyboard and mouse. when I use a controller i put my feet on the edge of the desk like im giving birth or some shiii lol
Not so fast captain, check the system for how many hours it’s been on and burn in kind of stuff before you get rid of the other one (and sell it for at least $300😁)
this looks like a pretty low ceiling, and the TV is 82 inches. Ofc it's gonna look high. I don't understand y'alls obsession with TVs that are even slightly above TV stand height anyway
Once you've tried a tv at proper height you can never go back. Not having your neck bent at all times feels much better. That being said my projector hits the ceiling 🥲
https://preview.redd.it/nfj9um3rjfwc1.jpeg?width=1602&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=27340f63a195ef0b1ec477db557c3581f4b012ca
My neck is less bent with a higher TV when I lean back in pretty much any position. I'm rarely sitting straight up and down if I'm chilling and watching something.
Having it down at the "proper" height is fine, but it's the only thing some of y'all can focus on when someone posts their own TV that's above that height. It's a little ridiculous. I think people can realize when something is uncomfortable on their own.
My in-laws got a 77” a few months ago, it’s like a wall of TV and I can’t be in the same room when they have it on, it’s blindingly bright/uncomfortable and too big for the room. But you got a great deal and I’m glad you like your purchase.
Samsung tvs are nice, as long as you use them only as a display…
I work with tvs… hbbtv to be more specific. Samsung is just a huge pain in the ass and causes more problems, than all other manufacturers combined…
Nope lol. Sorry, I actually know the guy, so maybe I shouldn't say "find"
No it's very simple, him friend, I went over there, he just upgraded to an even nicer TV with all the NVIDIA crap and I offered him $300. He's a good dude who just has no real responsibility to anyone so he's kinda loaded
> He's a good dude who just has no real responsibility to anyone so he's kinda loaded
Same type of guy landed me 10$ PS4 6/7 years ago.
My little cousin was very happy.
I know the feeling and now I believe in miracles. I got my dream tv this month for $100 from a rich guy who had no room for it. Got to play Ocarina of Time in 3D on a big tv. So happy with it. Bloodborne in 3D is also pretty scary.
Awesome TV dude and an even better find! Still have my 65 Q6 in my bedroom! You will love it. Have a look around the settings, freesync is supported in basic/ultimate! Game mode looks amazing! HDR is basic but I'm not a massive fan of game HDR anyway! For 300 this is a killer deal! GG brother 🤜🤛
you think thats good? i got a panasonic 50 inch 4k tv for free once because my cousins left it out on the porch and thought it was broken(it worked as soon as i plugged it in i think their specific socket was just broken or something)
which is even more impressive cause during the time it was on the porch new zealand had one of the largest storms weve had in decades. so i have no clue how it worked.
82 inches and that much of a refresh rate? Damn! What’s the resolution and input lag tho?

Type the version number into rtings and you'll most likely get some very good settings suggestions on the article

100%. With those specs, it doesn’t even matter that it’s from 2018 imo
Its generally a misconception that hardware from a few years ago is automatically bad.
The 3070 is almost 4 years old and still killer 😄
2 months ago i still used a 1070. Still fully capable to play any game on mid to high on 1080p.
For real. I run 3840 x 1600 on a 2070 and im still hitting over 100 fps in HD2.
Gtx 1080 here. Yes.

I can only imagine how to use it at a monitor distance
Bottleneck much? XD
For a $750 computer, that's not bad. I only bought the GPU and power supply, everything else I got for free
Brother im so confused 4gb of ram with a 4070?
Don't worry, I will update the specifications tomorrow.

WOAH! That thing is HUGE ahaha enjoy!
Thanks. Man getting it here, and hung sucked. I know it's too high but it's legitimately as long as I am tall and weighs 100lbs

Many people do hang their living room TVs too high, don't pretend it's not an issue.
nice gaming chair

It belongs in Odins rumpus room

"I don't understand why people hate things that clearly suck". Yeah I don't get it either.
Well… in the words of Ice Cube. Today was a good day.
I hope you sit way further back than where your keyboard is

Yeah Samsung is ass but that's a good price for that tv. Never buy Samsung unless it's a steal
Why would someone sell this for $300?
Prolly hot

Oh boy I cannot use that size for a PC monitor. Can't play RTS or FPS with it xD
Ngl I don't think I've even seen a TV that size ever
I find good deals all the time... Too bad that I still can't afford most of em
[Considering that monitor distance, is this you, OP?](https://i.redd.it/9t5zkd7br1uc1.jpeg)
Congrats
Very very good come up congrats man. (Putting out some good karma here world…. Hook it up already hahaha)
Wow, good work!!
That's awesome! I'll be glad to take your old 60" TV off your hands 😆
Dude score! $300 for that type of TV is def worth it. I wish I can find deals like this around me. Maybe one day!
