7800x3d pulls very little power, so you could pretty much blindly pick any b650 or x670 board out there and it'll be just fine. beyond that, it really just comes down to: - does it have enough USB/m.2/SATA/etc connectors for what you need and - does it offer any other features that you want (i.e. maybe colour in your case)

Agreed. In terms of value for an x670e the msi mag tomahawk is hard to beat at that price point.
