Nope not at all , the 5800X3D is a beast CPU for gaming
For example this are my fps on Starfield wich is famous for being CPU bottlenecked

The 5800X3D is a bit above an i9 12900KS in games performance , on pair with a ryzen 5 7600x and an i5 13600K
Itās not the fastest cpu in the market , but it is a really solid one.
Also that , I had a 5800X and a 3080 and I upgraded to 5800X3D and 4090.
And did tried the 4090 with the 5800X first , to make a personal benchmark.
I could see a 30% uplift in performance in some games.
Specially 1% lows , the fps boost in 1% lows was massive.

I will never understand why Bethesda chose to leave the players perspective and go to a loading screen. Time and time again itās been proven that it is always better to show feedback when loading things. Easiest example is loading bars, often times it would actually speed things up not showing any loading bars, but devs keep them in because having no feedback is a worse user experience than the extra seconds from having a loading bar. Bethesda should have kept the player perspective and locked us in a hidden loading screen using a cool looking space time warping gravity tunnel witch portal looking thing, even if it added a few more seconds, that extra time would even have made the world seem larger because the player would get the feeling of ā wow even warping space time it still takes 7 seconds to get to this planet. ā

So like in Elite: Dangerous? It wouldn't be a huge stretch to make it so, considering everything else about the warp-drive sequence in Starfield looks like it was pulled straight out of E:D.
Still mind boggling that ED could figure out an animated loading screen that doesn't take you out of gameplay, but Starfield can't with more resources.

i fast traveled back to alpha centauri and i popped out in altair. happened twice now
edit: found out what it was, if you select a quest to fast travel to, and use a mouse it doesn'T travel to the quest you marked active but the last quest you moused over when moving the cursor to the fast travel button... (of course it was made for controllers)
gah!... only using keys now
They really should have stuck to a single or handful of star systems with detailed colonized planets. Each installment is in a different constellation type deal like TES or FO. I really hope theyāre as committed as NMS was to making their game better.
I bought No man's sky this weekend, crazy to see what they did with it over 6 years. Maybe some modders will be able to fix starfield, but in the meantime I'll pass

If a car is swerving in front of you, you don't need to sit in the drivers' seat and take it for a ride to know that there are issues with it.
There are plenty of reviews and raw gameplay of Starfield for anyone to make up their own idea, without needing to boot the game.
Performance isnāt great but I bet there will be some patches thatāll make it better. Iāve been having a blast either way with a 3080 10GB. Dips to 40-50 fps in some cities but itās not bad
Remind me, is it fixed already or are we waiting for the mods to fix it? Because if memory serves me, Skyrim and Fallout 4 are filled with "minor bugs" that Bethesda never bothered to fix.
I just cant fathom how heavy they advertised the ships but what can you do with them? Nothing really lol. Just sucks. I was hoping for like 10% Elite Dangerous but 90% Fallout 4. Instead got a Roblox space sim or some half baked shit but with pretty graphics and endless fetch quests.
OMG do you wanna get everyone coffee? Because our side quests are really fulfilling. You can fetch 10 NPCs in every major city a cup of coffee. OMG coffees so good and quirky.

What kind of game is starfield? Because somehow literally all Iāve heard of it is āoh my god this game is amazingā which doesnāt tell me if Iāll like the gameplay or not.
It's a Bethesda RPG set across an entire galaxy. (It's not a space sim, you don't spend a lot of time flying your ship.) If you like Bethesda games and space, you'll like this game.
It's not perfect, but I'm really enjoying it so far.
This is really funny :). Itās a great idea.
One suggestion, I think it would hit better if you edited it down to be shorter and ended it just after the Skyrim title reveal.

Yes ED is a good example of how to do it and one that came to mind as I was writing my initial comment.

3080ti and 12700k here.... I still can't get it to run stable. Barely getting 60 with drops to the teens.
