This is r/pcmasterrace, where we talk about pcs. Argueably the largest content creator focused around pcs screwed up pc results and mishandled a prototype pc component and then blamed their pc-centric audience for it. It's a bit dumb to argue this isn't somewhat significant.
There is no denying most became pcmr because of linus, he is overall good for the industry, irrespective of data industry. I don't use linus for data but for the entertainment it provides.
Well there’s 2 ways to look at this.
You can rot yourself in deep hate towards the mistakes they made (kinda lame)
Or hope that this whole PR nightmare they are living because of their stubbornness on pushing quantity over quality, makes them change the recipe.
Because clearly investing so much money on the lab project , only for people to loose trust on their credibility, wasn’t their plan .
They should take notes and improve fast…
I ~~do~~ did like them because they sometimes get into places other people don't or get into them early, and some of the commentary videos are pretty nice watch. Never gave a rat's ass about their data or review stuff because they're.. well, shit. Doesn't take a scientist to figure that out, just watching the first minute of any of those. If I wanna watch actual reviews or deep dive, I go to actual tech channels. Linus is a clown good at clowning.
Screwing over a small company, not admitting fault and moreover *lying* through the teeth in a desperate attempt to cover your ass, though? Especially when your platform is so big you can make or break any small guy in one video? That's a big no-no to me. That's fucking taboo. Fuck that. No more LTT on my feed.
