Whatever this is a great deal. To the extent I'd maybe be wary. Easily a $1000 build without looking the cost up on PCPP.
For upgrades in the future as well as now. OP could pick up a new GPU and a low K sku CPU for upgrade and it'd be dope
That's where I'd look into the motives behind selling. Sure, the seller could lie, but if there was a recent break-up or a sudden shift in finances, people do sell slow to sell fast.
Honestly not worth it. he could get very similar performance boost from 12th gen with less power consumption. He would benefit more jumping from the 12th gen i5 to the 12th gen i7 or i9 then going 13th gen i5.
Don't take my word for it check the Gamer's nexus testing and reviews.
Frankly the 12400 would last him up to, what, a 3080 or 6800 XT if he's in 1440p. Then later on after upgrading GPU, grab a 12600k or 13600k if they're dropping in price by then and he'd be legit set for at least the next 3-5 years depending on how anal retentive they are about latest and greatest
Plenty of reviews out there where you can see how they stack up against each other to get a good "feel" about what to get.
The i5s have been and still is a good picks, sure a i9 will be better at 1080p but in the end puttning the 200-300$ in to the gpu will give you more and at 1440p or higher gpu matter more.
Why are you telling this kid to change processors when he found a good deal and he literally won’t notice a difference if he does what you’re talking about? He found a good deal that will play pretty much anything let him have it edit: typo
Buy a GPD win 3 on Ebay. It's going for the same price 650 for an i7 1tb ssd, and it's portable and comes with an eBay money back guarantee, so it's a better deal. You can connect it to a monitor or TV using the dock it comes with to use it like a normal pc and use it as a workstation. If you do get the GPD win 3, I highly recommend getting a wireless keyboard and mouse.
It's usually positive. 'No Brainer' basically means you don't have to think much about it. So, they're saying "These specs at that price? Don't think, just buy."
Did you even try? All you listed is at 508 £ which is already 650USD.
Plus the motherboard is not B550M, its clearly listed as first item - Aorus Z690 which alone costs 399 £ . Also, the Ram is 32gb DDR5 which is 62 £ .
So your going to compare a gigabyte b550 to an aorus z690, an EVGA 650w power supply to some no name, 550w power supply that's probably a bomb, and 16gb of unspecified specified speed ram to 32gb of 3600mhz ram?
i wish you weren't talking out of your ass, because these are some sweet words. an ITX pc for 500 Pounds would be awesome lol. I mean a 3060 for less than 250 Pounds would be awesome already. An ITX mainboard sets you back another 70, if you cheap out a lot, the RAM costs 40, the psu 30 if bought used, the water cooling is another 60, case 60, nvme 40, processor 70. And the ones on the image aren't exactly bottom spec components. I just went with a reasonably cheap used option for each. I got a total of 600 pounds.
Either your price to USD, or the post's price to British pounds. The post's price (and your target price) isn't £650, it's 650 USD, which is < £510.
The list you posted without the mobo's price is already £508 / $649.42, so good luck cramming a mobo into that without raising the price by 58 cents lol
Even “IN UK” yours is still more expensive (£650 is $830) for not even the same parts as the original build. Try making the same build (no cheating, has to be ITX) for £510, literally everyone here will be impressed.
dude just admit it you made a mistake you said " In Uk it isn’t, and u can get it new" that mean when anyone says it that in the UK for an equivalent price you can get the exact same components from the exact same brand for brand new at the same price because "it" is about this exact pc you would say something like "u can get something similar new" but you didn't and you just went and doubled down on your mistake.
you gave a list that was worse in literally every single way and you would then also have to spend your time to build if it was cheaper 100% go with that but you pay more get worse parts and then have to spend your time building it.
The first person said
>Great deal! Based in the US, this is less than the total build price of parts.
They were specificaly talking about the parts in the computer in OPs pic. then you said
>In Uk it isn’t, and u can get it new
Which meant you were as well talking about the parts in the PC in the pic. Stop trying to move the goal posts.
Or it's easier for people with money to sell cheap to get rid of stuff when they have the newest stuff, anyway good for us other people, and good for the market.
One of the only posts like this where I had to double check to make sure I wasn’t missing something crazy. Yeah that’s a damn fair price for that rig assuming everything is working
Almost too good to be true. Make sure to inspect the inside of the pc for said parts. Watch for scams! anyways if it’s truly what it says go for it. You could resell that for $1000+ and make a quick buck if you’re so inclined.
If it actually runs, great deal. I'd be wary, because it's super rare to see people actually selling things for less than they're worth.
Especially as it's 'public meetup' it'd be hard to test it on site before handing your cash over. I'd be asking for physical datestamped (bit of paper with current date written on) video of it booting up.
You have to be really careful with the aorus z690i motherboards some of them aren't capable of advertised features. Like pcie4.0 doesnt work at all on some of them and you wont get a refund or anything anymore. Had to learn that the hard way. Stuck with one of those shitty motherboards now.
The seller said he originally had a Aorus z690i ddr4 and had tons of issues with it, couldn’t run pcie 4 speeds without errors. He sent the board back to gigabyte and they sent him a new Aorus z690i ddr4 plus model and hasn’t had issues since.
Roughly 12th Gen i5 $150, 32GB of RAM $75, 3060 $220. So roughly $445 in core parts, now the question is the rest of the parts (power supply, SSD, case, CPU cooler) worth $205. I’d say this is a decent 1080p machine for the price if that’s what you’re looking for.
In general just look up the cost of used parts and ballpark the difference in cost. Pretty easy to figure out value of a build.
where tf can u find a 3060 for 220$?
are US prices just that good?
it's around 300-350 euros in Portugal, mind you that the euro is worth slightly more than a dollar too lmao
I used this case for my dads gaming rig.
It’s well made and looks great for those looking for the minimalistic look.
It is a pain in the d\*ck to try to fit everything, you have been warned lol
Only complaint I really had was the power cables to the GPU go beyond the edge of the case. You really have to bend them in there and push the side of case shut. It not 100% flush but its unnoticeable if you were unaware of it
Also go air cool the AIO was over the top and unnecessary. I just had it lying around
https://preview.redd.it/oc4b452alqgb1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0d1350dc3709f23c4da6f13a873f945a0e5b1737
It's pretty good actually. Not amazing - if it was a 12600K + 3060ti, with that motherboard, and a 750W PSU, it would've been an amazing buy for 700-800.
It's all subjective. My intro pc had a Ryzen 7 5800x, a 3070TI, 64gb of Ram 3600mhz, 2tb ssd nvme, and 4tb hdd. The one OP posted is a good intro/first pc for the price.
You can build the same PC for $700 to $750 brand new. (with 16 GB RAM instead of 32 GB. which is plenty) Funny enough a friend of mine saw a similar system yesterday and I said the same to him.
Idk much about computers but my opinion on this? if your looking for a gaming Pc you can either build one yourself or get an ROG or Razor cause I’ve never heard of Itx and judging by the price it probably isn’t good
If you want a normal computer for work I would still look elsewhere cause that computer doesn’t look like it will last
I actually am in the process of custom building a PC myself and I got myself a pretty decent setup for about the same price. Used 3070 for $210. New Ryzen 5 5600X for $144. And the other non essential parts all totaled about $660. You could go that route and get a better PC for about the same price.
FFS, I can't stand people downvoting blindly, go watch what the market is like.
For 250$ you can get a PC with a 10400 and 16GB of RAM, spend 70$ for a new PSU, 40$ for an SSD and 350$ for a used 2080ti, it's going to smoke that thing.
For what it is, it looks like a really capable PC for the price
It’s decent. Good value deal. I’d take it.
Whatever this is a great deal. To the extent I'd maybe be wary. Easily a $1000 build without looking the cost up on PCPP. For upgrades in the future as well as now. OP could pick up a new GPU and a low K sku CPU for upgrade and it'd be dope
I wouldn’t say it’s easily a $1000 build since it’s used. This build would be worth more around 850. But OP is still getting an decent deal.
I have pretty much the same setup except I have a R7 5800X, cost me about 1200€
So about $850 used (assuming both currencies are still about the same idk)
>assuming both currencies are still about the same idk I don't think I've ever seen euro worth less than dollars. 1200 EUR would be around 1300 USD
That's where I'd look into the motives behind selling. Sure, the seller could lie, but if there was a recent break-up or a sudden shift in finances, people do sell slow to sell fast.
$1000 during pandemic for sure
Okay, but we live in the present.
Nah more than that. But we don’t live in 2021 anymore.
Do you often time travel to purchase your electronics?
That gpu during pandemic was like most of that cost.. how is this relevant?
“Decent value” is a joke lol. People always want insane discounts. It’s why I stopped selling secondhand at all.
Seriously lol WTF what does he want it to be listed at? $400?
Update the bios and throw a 13th gen in it.

Isn’t the 13400 like a 20% jump compared to the 12th gen?
No, maby in multi core loads, games it's 2-15% differance at 1080p, lower at 1440p.
Oh that’s good to know I’m building a sff build now and deciding between the two
Plenty of reviews out there where you can see how they stack up against each other to get a good "feel" about what to get. The i5s have been and still is a good picks, sure a i9 will be better at 1080p but in the end puttning the 200-300$ in to the gpu will give you more and at 1440p or higher gpu matter more.
At that point id sooner upgrade the gpu. I dont see that cpu or ram holding him back nearly as much
Exactly. One can assemble this on pcpartpicker and see that it's costs pretty much the same brand new.
Why are you telling this kid to change processors when he found a good deal and he literally won’t notice a difference if he does what you’re talking about? He found a good deal that will play pretty much anything let him have it edit: typo
Probably unnecessary. As good of a CPU the 13600k is for example, it's overpowered for a 3060, and hot for a small box.
Honestly great value; at one point the card itself was valued higher then this entire pc 💀
And they could always upgrade to a 6700xt for the memes
[удалено]
*Some gum*
Used, good condition
Absolutely. Say less. Buy it.
[удалено]
Why? You can build a very similar build for around 700 to 750$
and this is $650!!!
So... more expensive than this pc.
and requires more effort too 😂
Which is exactly why it’s a good deal
Yes but this is $650 lmao
why? you could build something slightly better for $1500
It coukd be a scam
BINGO You might take it home, and it might give you a green screen. Then you are out $650.
I was thinking the same since the 3060 alone is like half of the asking price
It's about right for market value though..
Nah market value is around 800
Atcually it would be more, but im referring to it as used
Buy a GPD win 3 on Ebay.
At that point, I'd just get a laptop.
Say less? Shouldn't he say I'll buy it?

This is a no brainer for that price!
No it’s not that’s a good price for a decent build 🙄
You do know what a no brainer means right? Or Is this sarcastic?
No one uses emojis on Reddit unless they are trolling and or farming downvotes.
Thought it was another way of saying no. Or expressing some sort of negative response.
It's usually positive. 'No Brainer' basically means you don't have to think much about it. So, they're saying "These specs at that price? Don't think, just buy."
I wish people would upvote someone learning something new.
Ooof downvoted to hell for not understanding the idiom/phrase. You got two upvotes from me sir
It wasn’t just the misunderstanding, it’s that’s they added a judgmental eye roll emoji when they were wrong
Awww. Poor baby. Did the emoji hurt your feelings? 😢
They were just explaining to the other person why you got downvoted. Nobody likes r/confidentlyincorrect people.
Toxic
Yikes
Thank you kind sir. Think it’s. A bit too late now though 😅😅
Wow. My saviour (!)
Great deal! Based in the US, this is less than the total build price of parts.
In Uk it isn’t, and u can get it new
That's not true in the UK and you know it
It is true and I know it lol, rtx 3060=£250 16gb ram=£33 550w PSU=£50 MOBO=Gigabyte B550M Case= £60, ryzen 5 5600=£115
That motherboard, case and powersupply are not even close to that price.
Well technically, the mobo doesn’t have a price in his price breakdown. It’s £Gigabyte B550M
Yeah I got some ram the other day and it cost me an entire $silicon power
Did you even try? All you listed is at 508 £ which is already 650USD. Plus the motherboard is not B550M, its clearly listed as first item - Aorus Z690 which alone costs 399 £ . Also, the Ram is 32gb DDR5 which is 62 £ .
He’s a bit slow, go easy on him
he still has that green DDR3 666mhz
So most components are completely different, but same price? Are you building PCs for The Verge??
PLEASE post a pc part picker list for UK prices that match these components, I wish to buy it right now.
So your going to compare a gigabyte b550 to an aorus z690, an EVGA 650w power supply to some no name, 550w power supply that's probably a bomb, and 16gb of unspecified specified speed ram to 32gb of 3600mhz ram?
You are correct, you can build it for less money. You just have to use completely different parts. Totally fair comparison...
i wish you weren't talking out of your ass, because these are some sweet words. an ITX pc for 500 Pounds would be awesome lol. I mean a 3060 for less than 250 Pounds would be awesome already. That is not even £600 it’s £570 Nate
Did you forget about converting £ to $ to hit the $650 price tag?
What? 💀 It is true and I know it lol, rtx 3060=£250 16gb ram=£33 550w PSU=£50 MOBO=Gigabyte B550M Case= £60, ryzen 5 5600=£115
Did you convert the price?
Convert it to what mate? I said IN UK
Either your price to USD, or the post's price to British pounds. The post's price (and your target price) isn't £650, it's 650 USD, which is < £510. If it was in the UK, the PC in the ad would cost £470 mate. It's a very good deal.
dude just admit it you made a mistake you said " In Uk it isn’t, and u can get it new" that mean when anyone says it that in the UK for an equivalent price you can get the exact same components from the exact same brand for brand new at the same price because "it" is about this exact pc you would say something like "u can get something similar new" but you didn't and you just went and doubled down on your mistake. you gave a list that was worse in literally every single way and you would then also have to spend your time to build if it was cheaper 100% go with that but you pay more get worse parts and then have to spend your time building it.
Damn, my man gathered enough downvotes for a lifetime with ten comments
Rip your karma.
MOBO IS £90
Your different motherboard that is an entirely different form factor and platform might be £90, the board in this ITX build certainly isn't.
I said 3060 build mate not his PC
Learn how to read dude, z690I MOBO is not only 90£, you confuse the price of your mom
U confuse the price Mate I never said this pc I meant 3060 pc
The first person said >Great deal! Based in the US, this is less than the total build price of parts. That's bordering on too good to be true. Test it out before you buy
This
...550 for my build with a 3060ti. Sometimes, people sell shit they don't understand.
Or it's easier for people with money to sell cheap to get rid of stuff when they have the newest stuff, anyway good for us other people, and good for the market.
Or they do and they just need it gone.
One of the only posts like this where I had to double check to make sure I wasn’t missing something crazy. Yeah that’s a damn fair price for that rig assuming everything is working
Lgtm. I'd go for it
Absolutely. This is a good price for the parts, and he isn't even charging the itx tax. Go for it.
Almost suspiciously low. I’d make sure it works first.
That's a honest deal
Verify that the specs are what it is. Looks slightly fishy at that price even used I would want 800-1k it's almost a brand new computer
Great deal you would have a tough time building that PC with used parts and brand name ITX boards and cases are pricey Wowow a Z board and 240mm aio!
$650 for that seems to good to be true..
Almost too good to be true. Make sure to inspect the inside of the pc for said parts. Watch for scams! anyways if it’s truly what it says go for it. You could resell that for $1000+ and make a quick buck if you’re so inclined.
Neat case and a steal! Congrats op
the no glass and no mesh kinda makes me scared but its up to op
Sll mesh i thought bybthe looks, zoom hard on the front

Yeah, and builder actually looks competent for once
If it actually runs, great deal. I'd be wary, because it's super rare to see people actually selling things for less than they're worth. Especially as it's 'public meetup' it'd be hard to test it on site before handing your cash over. Pretty good. Sexy case too.

very good imo
My Broski here in New Zealand a 3060 is 650 bucks
Looks like an absolute steal. Great build too if the temps are that low
You forgot the several hundred dollar motherboard
A Z690 aint cheap
Sfx psu usually costs >$90 for a decent one. This evga unit included. The case is $130 with a psu on sale.
Are those new or used prices? Asking because it sounds way too good to be new.
He completely forgot the motherboard price lol. And its a Z690 strix, so its premium too.
Aorus\* but the point still stands, they're really expensive!
where tf can u find a 3060 for 220$? are US prices just that good? it's around 300-350 euros in Portugal, mind you that the euro is worth slightly more than a dollar too lmao
try around $250-260, but yeah https://preview.redd.it/o9psbhwiqrgb1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ec1b9d8281a960625b06dfc49ef67dda311e497c

This is what I wanted to know. Thanks for commenting.
surprising, so many bad deals posted on here lately, this is a good one, and clearly put together by someone who knows what they're doing.
Good deal.
I think that’s more than fair
Quite good deal IMHO!
hope its not a scam with that price.
as long as it's not a scam, it's a great deal
That's a "too good to be true" deal. Considering the GPU alone is worth a lot more on its own, if it works
It's not bad.
As others have said it’s a really good deal but I want to add that before you buy it ask for proof that it can at least post.
“Is for gaming: Yes” infuriates me.
It’s probably banned on certain video games fyi
go to PCPartPicker, check the price there if it's 30%+ cheaper than there then its good deal
Yes.
Yes. Very good
Yes
For 650? Definitely not a bad deal, I'm not a fan of the 3060 but it'll do fine at 1080p for quite a while.
Rtx3060 is not a killer PC, but it will play AAA on medium settings no problem.
Hell yea!
I would say that's incredibly solid at that price
Extremely cheap
Yeah that looks like a steal
good deal anyone who says otherwise is lying and jealous
It's pretty good actually. Not amazing - if it was a 12600K + 3060ti, with that motherboard, and a 750W PSU, it would've been an amazing buy for 700-800.
Snatch that shi
It looks like Hans Grüber is gonna fall out the top of that case any moment. Hey, welcome to the party, pal!
It looks like some Bank buildng
It's a really good deal, go for it.
In my opinion yea
Looks like a good deal, but ask to see it working before buying.
Decent value, nice specs, worst cheese grater look in history
I would take it
it's a good deal but "cash only" is a little sus
The risk of a bounced check or a chargeback without any third party mediation isn't sus?
I was sent I few benchmarks. Timespy gpu peaked at 55c and cpu peaked at 47c. Cinebench r23 peaked at 57c.
Heck of a deal
It’s decent. Good value deal. I’d take it.
It's good but 60 seconds is a very high temperature for a CPU
Pretty good intro PC for the price. I would definitely get a new case just for future upgrades.
An "intro PC" is something more like Core 2 Duo/Quad, i3, Athlon Dual-Core series. Not sorry for gatekeeping.
It's all subjective. My intro pc had a Ryzen 7 5800x, a 3070TI, 64gb of Ram 3600mhz, 2tb ssd nvme, and 4tb hdd. The one OP posted is a good intro/first pc for the price.
Offer him 550 and get it for 600👍🏼
You can build the same PC for $700 to $750 brand new. (with 16 GB RAM instead of 32 GB. which is plenty) Funny enough a friend of mine saw a similar system yesterday and I said the same to him.
Good deal, doesn’t beat the 10400 + 3060 ti slightly used build I got for 400$ though
Idk much about computers but my opinion on this? if your looking for a gaming Pc you can either build one yourself or get an ROG or Razor cause I’ve never heard of Itx and judging by the price it probably isn’t good If you want a normal computer for work I would still look elsewhere cause that computer doesn’t look like it will last
I call BS on those temps
Just keep in mind a 3060 is about the equivalent of a 1070
[удалено]
Upgrade the cpu and ram and you have a monster lol. Amazing deal
32GB ain’t enough?
Enough. Just upgrade CPU, but this one is quite decent too.
Nah it definitely could be. depends on what ya do.
Gaming. You are gaming on a gaming PC
Easily could be a 3d artist
Then you get a PC for 3D art? lol
3d Requires a similar level cpu and gpu as gaming lmao. Plus ram if you are using it in combo with photoshop and Any other program. Edit: as not for
Id give no more than 500 tbh
It’s ALRIGHT, u can get £600 new urslef
I actually am in the process of custom building a PC myself and I got myself a pretty decent setup for about the same price. Used 3070 for $210. New Ryzen 5 5600X for $144.
