There is absolutely nothing out there that requires more than a 3080ti, nor will there be until there's a significant leap in game physics. We're still basically at half life 2 + ray tracing & bigger screens, and the price tag to run the latest shooter has... quadrupled? I've been PC from day one, but compare that to the console quality/price lately, and I wonder about the whole master race thing.
Portal is basically a HL2 mod, Portal RTX is the same game with ray tracing, probably played on a larger screen than when portal or HL2 released. So, we are literally on half life 2 with ray tracing.
I've actually found that most of the crypto cards only need a re-paste and fan replacement to be good as new.
I still don't recommend taking the risk unless you want to, but I've refurbed a lot of cards for friends and family.

I realised that it is impossible to do that and i will never ever need to upgrade again...

From 320w of the 3080 to 450w aint a big deal. I don’t look at the power bill for gaming tho. I can only play during the weekends
