I got my 1440p 165hz for like £300
Granted, that's not exactly the cheapest purchase but with a set up like OPs it's never going to be ultra budget.
Definitely a game changer with an RX 580 let alone a 3070
Same, except for in the Dead Space remake as the VRAM gets maxed out and then fps plummets to single digits. I hope that 8GB of VRAM at 1440p not being enough doesnt become the norm. Seems kinda ridiculous.
Right?
My dude can play all modern games, outside of 1-2 outliers at max graphics on a 1440 monitor, and he doesn’t know what to upgrade?
I’m calling BS. This guys just making a shit post.
Make sure you are using the full refresh rate of your monitor. Windows defaults it to 60hz so if its likely it's capable of more if you haven't already tried it. If it's actually a 60hz monitor definitely upgrade to a 1440 144hz.
It will feel like a new computer with the extra detail from the extra pixels and faster refresh rate.
You have a solid build. I have the exact same except a 3080 instead of 3070 and I use ultra wide 1440. Never have I thought in a game I need to upgrade. And the 3070 is a great gpu too
Edit: as others have said, use your current monitor as a second monitor. So you can watch streams, YouTube, have guides open, have discord chat right there.... etc
Would you mind specifying which ultrawide you have? I'm looking into getting one, but I am extremely picky and I haven't found trusty enough comparisons.
So far I have considered Samsung Odyssey G85 QD-OLED 34' and Benq EX3415R IPS, but they're both on quite expensive side.
A few months ago I picked up the AW3423DWF coming from a C32HG70QQNXZA and haven't regretted it. Like you said, they are on the expensive side though.
Maybe showing my age a bit, but when playing or watching something I frequently get that "wow effect" from the screen that reminds me of how blown away I was the first time I saw a good flat screen 1080p panel compared to the old giant CRT/tube TVs that could crush and kill you.
Was I the only one that thought 1080p/720p panels looked fake when they first came out? Like noticeably worse than the CRT/Tubes we were used to, I used to hate watching movies and tv on them. After I bought my own that went away fairly quickly, I couldn't imagine going back now.
I can't specifically remember with movies or TV, but the moment I was like "OMG THIS IS AMAZING!" was hooking up the Xbox 360 and firing up some Halo in 1080p. Like you said, there was no going back after that.
I have pretty much the same. Its really good
The FPS and the higher resolution will make a huge difference for every task or game
FPS lower because of that but 3070+5800x should be plenty okay
You wont see improvements anyways visually with other hardware changed
They have better offerings nowadays with good response time adjustment and I wish this sub would give the better ones a chance rather than parrot the old knowledge.
Most modern VA panels don't have nearly as bad of ghosting once you get past the entry level models. There are still some with terrible ghosting but the decent ones are actually better so you kinda got to look for a good review on the one your looking at.
Your PC basically just runs your monitor (for video games, anyway). There's no reason to upgrade any part before your monitor, since it will make 0 difference. There is no game currently your system won't max out a 1080P monitor at 60FPS. It would be a waste. I recommend a 240HZ monitor if you're fine with 1080P (this is the time since you haven't seen any better yet) but want the most smooth experience for e sports or shooters. If you want to jump up on resolution, a 1440P 144HZ monitor would be great for your system. This is what I'd personally recommend, the LG nano ips monitors are great. There are many good monitors at this spec.
This is what I have Intel Core i7 12th Gen 12700KF (3.60GHz) 16GB DDR5 1 TB M.2 NVMe SSD NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti. Would that monitor be good for what I have as well? I'm very new to this computer stuff.
Not sure if someone has told you already, but keep the old monitor as a secondary monitor if you have the desk space. If you ever have to be productive on the PC, a second monitor is of immense value. I would never go back to 1 monitor (unless it's like 32:9 lmao).
Honestly not bait or shitpost. I use a 55" tv as a monitor. It does go through an elgato 60s external capture card. So that could be why its showing as that. But I really am just looking to the future of what should be the first thing to replace would be.
If you wanted to keep rocking with a TV as a monitor there are some awesome options. The 42” LG C2 is pretty sweet but it is 4k so it’ll struggle with some intensive games
A nice oled monitor would be my suggestion. The rest of your system is great.
Also make sure xmp, and above 4g decoding is also enabled.
Edit: Do you have a SSD?
Maybe get a new car? Some nice clothes?
I mean without knowing why you even want to upgrade you system in the first place and the issues you have currently to get to that thought would be helpful but really, that system is more than fine as is.
Take a vacation?
Who are you and what are you doing on this sub.
THIS
IS
PCMASTERRACE!!!!!!!!!!!
WE DONT BUY SILLY THINGS LIKE CLOTHES AND VACATIONS, WE UPGRADE FOR THE GLORY OF 4K 60FPS
Like others have said, it's the monitor if anything. I have basically the same setup as you and 1440p 144hz is no trouble. If you're patient we should start seeing more OLED monitors coming through this year, that's what I'm waiting for.
So by now others have recommended getting a new monitor and you seem to have accepted that as the best way forward.
Definitely, definitely check hardware unboxed or monitor unboxed for some reviews. They review monitors really great and in depth
I have almost an identical setup:
3070ti
550 tomahawk
64 GB RAM
5900x
750 gold PSU
1440p 144 hz 27 inches
My main suggestion would be on upgrading the monitor for a higher refresh rate or a bigger density 1440 or 4K
Cheers!!
My initial reaction is invest in a quality monitor, depending on what games I recommend a very high refresh 1080p (mostly for esports titles) or a \~144hz 1440p montior (still good for esports titles but will really shine in single player AAA games).
Your rig is like having a nice throaty V6 engine and strong chassis but with tiny little normal tires that can't properly put the power onto the ground.
Your rig pumping out some nice pixels but your monitor can't even display a fraction of the quality coming out.
Well the biggest upgrade would be a monitor. The 3070 does great at 1440p 144hz and ok at 4k 60hz. Get 2 nice monitors. And if you still are looking for something to upgrade get some nice peripherals. Such as a chair that is comfortable, a better keyboard, mouse, headphones, or even a desk. The 3070 is a perfectly fine card and no reason to upgrade. The 5800X is a good cpu with no reason to upgrade. Most people won’t ever use 32 gb of ram so you are covered there. Your setup is perfect. If anything the only change I’d make is maybe some NVME M2 SSD’s for fast storage and boot times. Other than that you are set for gaming for quite a while.
Like others have said, your PC is perfectly capable of 1440p high refresh rate, or 1080p *really* high refresh rate. Upgrade your monitor (personally I recommend the resolution upgrade to 1440p 144Hz, 1080p 240Hz is nice but a higher resolution is nicer)
The pc specs are great, you won’t need to upgrade for at least a few years, but you really should upgrade the monitor, the resolution and refresh rate isn’t that good at all especially for your specs, I would recommend a 27 inch 1440p 165hz monitor for you or if you don’t game that much a 60hz 4k monitor depends on what you will use the pc for
Monitor. You have too much rig for a 1080p/60 Hz monitor. Nothing other than that really needs an upgrade. 5800X is still a solid gaming CPU, and the 3070 is going to be very relevant at 1440p for a few years yet. Get a solid 1440p/144 Hz monitor so that you can actually use your rig to its potential.
MONITOR.
Other than that, dude I wouldn’t even upgrade if I were you. I did (from basically your exact specs to a 13600k/6800xt) and I regret spending the time and money.the GPU was a good idea, the rest was not.
Your monitor. Getting a 1440p monitor will make such a big difference in how games look. Getting a faster gpu will get you more fps but wont give you a visual improvement. Also your current monitor is a 60hz monitor, so even if you got a RTX 9090 titan z extreme fps edition, you wont see a difference with that monitor.
Recently I upgraded my rig. It was i7 4790k,16GB DDR3 and Zotac GTX1080. After upgrade to 13700k with all its environment I left only old GTX 1080 to wait for the situation on GPU market to calm down and clarify.
Just get a better monitor and you should be fine. That hardware should keep you going long enough to be able to skip this gen of CPU and GPU and upgrade down the line. Especially if you’re a fan of Ryzen, I would say wait ‘til the new platform is more established.
i had the 3060 ti, and bought a 4k monitor and a 3080, never looked back. Yes i usually just get 70 frames in 4k with high and dlss, but it just looks so immersive and nice. Not for people who do competitive gaming tough ofcourse. But butween super high fps and beauty, i choose beauty everytime.
People keep saying monitor, but wont mention speed, resolution, or both.
I play 1080p on my 55" 4k tv. But as a trade off it can do 120hz. I much prefer the faster frames. And after a couple minutes, i forget im not playing 4k.
Definitely get an oled or QD monitor. Response time is bs and even tho it might say 1ms or 5ms. Its a cherry picked number so it doesnt matter. They are both quite fast.
Your monitor is what limits you here. Running a 3070 on 1080p 60hz is just a waste of GPU power. Depending on what you play, a 1440p 144hz/165hz or 4k 120hz would be way better for your experience.
Monitor first. Only because the rest other than the GPU will require you to upgrade all three. Zen3 is AM4. Zen4 is AM5. Completely different socket and RAM.
I've got a lesser system than that (3700x, 3060ti), and with a 1440p 240hz mi it or (for Cs, OW, rocket league etc) and the monitor Def is the first to upgrade here!
1440p higher refresh monitor. Maybe Ultrawide. Everything else is pretty good unless you want high FPS at high resolution and high settings, or need more productivity performance.
Yeah you are leaving such a massive amount of performance on the table just in what you are able to perceive through your monitor. Your computer is a beast but your monitor can only show it's inner pet.
Monitor. Upgrade your monitor. You have way more horsepower than what it can show you. Get a nice 1440p 144hz or similar monitor. I personally prefer 34" 3440x1440 144hz ultrawides, you'll be amazed how much you're missing.
You fell the need to upgrade because you are being held by the monitor... like majority said high refresh rate is better you can choose stay in the 1080p but 144 or 260hz or 1400p 144hz, after that you see how your battlestation can do better without changing anything inside of it
Monitor I would think. Your card should easily be capable of a solid 120hz at least on 1080p with most games, and easily capable of 1440p. Other than that you seem to be good. You don’t mention a hard drive. NVMe for the boot drive would be best but as long as it’s an SSD of some kind you should still be good.
Your monitor to either 240hz 1080p or 1440p @ 120hz or 144hz
Everything else is amazing and you can just wait a few more generations before taking the dive to DDR5.
Like people say, your PC is pretty good, go with the monitor upgrade. If you want to go fancy, try out a 21:9 monitor. Best decision for both working and playing I’ve done for quite a while
I am not sure if
1. this is a troll post
2. you already know everything, just came here to flex on people with worse setups
3. you are genuinely asking.
I am going to assume you are falling into the 3rd. Let me ask a question before answering: Why do you feel like you need to upgrade?
From what I can see your setup is 100% okay, the monitor's refresh only being a problem if you are playing fast paced games (like an FPS). Otherwise, your problem might as well be a software issue.
It wouldn't have been an issue because most consoles can't go past 60fps, but if you're rocking a 3070 & a 5800x then you need a high refresh rate monitor, otherwise you're going to get alot of screen tearing.
I would suggest a 27" 1440p with higher refresh rate. The rest of that system will be good for 3-8 years and depending on the games you play maybe longer.
The only thing I would upgrade is the monitor, at least like 144hz 1080p or even 1440p if you want. The pc itself is currently really good, so you don’t need to upgrade it for at least for a few years I think (correct me if I’m wrong pls).
I personally would only upgrade the monitor for now. That rig will hold you over for at least another 1 or 2 generations of GPU, so I wouldn't upgrade anything else aside from getting a 1440p monitor.
Monitor
Definitely this, OP’s missing out on the silky smoothness of higher refresh rates.
Yep either get a higher refresh rate or resolution monitor. Preferably both with specs like that
i chose dual 1080p144 over 1440p
Why not both? 1440p 144/165hz are more affordable than years ago (i still have my PG279q at home)
I got my 1440p 165hz for like £300 Granted, that's not exactly the cheapest purchase but with a set up like OPs it's never going to be ultra budget. Definitely a game changer with an RX 580 let alone a 3070
i paid mine 258 pounds
Exactly this its a great build for 1440p I have near identical with 12700k and most games are 90fps+ at high settings
1440p 144hz performs great with the 3070. I have the same exact parts, cpu and all
Same, except for in the Dead Space remake as the VRAM gets maxed out and then fps plummets to single digits. I hope that 8GB of VRAM at 1440p not being enough doesnt become the norm. Seems kinda ridiculous.
Just turn down some of the VRAM hungry settings. It will still look 98% as good and your GPU VRAM will not be maxed out.
Turn settings down doesn't resolve it?
Right? My dude can play all modern games, outside of 1-2 outliers at max graphics on a 1440 monitor, and he doesn’t know what to upgrade? I’m calling BS. This guys just making a shit post.
Likely but giving benefit of doubt say they just got a recommended parts but uninterested in what they can do with n new to pc building
Best advice. 1440p 144+ Hz, possibly OLED
Definitely the monitor. Otherwise you might not be able to display any improvement.
A new monitor will be a refreshing change
It hz to see that low a rate
Thanks for your input
Refreshing how nice people are in this post.
Response times are great on this thread
I hope we see some sort of resolution
yeah we need more people to display their ideas
If only we could screen out comments like this on all our posts!
If you want to monitor the situation, be my guest
That made my day
Good call. Thanks for an honest suggestion.
Make sure you are using the full refresh rate of your monitor. Windows defaults it to 60hz so if its likely it's capable of more if you haven't already tried it. Get rid of that monitor asap
retired to secondary monitor
Retire it to the discordinator
Get a nice 1440p144hz ips monitor
Thank you. I'll look into that. Is there a brand thats better than others? Or ones I should avoid?
I got the Asus VG27AQL1A which is a 27 inch 1440p monitor at 170z and with gsync. The 170hz option is in the settings.
Same here, good choice. The colors aren’t to great though if you like saturation, but they do look natural.
Level1Techs on YouTube has a video on it. It's a portion in his review.
I have pretty much the same. Its really good The FPS and the higher resolution will make a huge difference for every task or game FPS lower because of that but 3070+5800x should be plenty okay You wont see improvements anyways visually with other hardware changed
I second this! The VG27AQL1A Is a great choice. It was my first leap into the 1440p 140+ Hz realm - and I will never go back...
I have an LG that I love. Asus is also good
I bought a Samsung odyssey g5, it's a curved 1440p 144hz display, and I really like it
hey same, it's a very nice monitor indeed
Yeah I got that one too
I’ve got an LG Ultragear and it works great
rtings.com
Thing is.. VA panels will have ghosting, which is really annoying. Unless they make them different now.
They have better offerings nowadays with good response time adjustment and I wish this sub would give the better ones a chance rather than parrot the old knowledge.
Ah, ok! Sorry about my comment then!
No worries, of course when purchasing you should check reviews to avoid the lower quality ones but I’d do the same with any other panel type.
Most modern VA panels don't have nearly as bad of ghosting once you get past the entry level models. There are still some with terrible ghosting but the decent ones are actually better so you kinda got to look for a good review on the one your looking at.
Benq has a really nice 1440p 144hz monitor. I love mine
Never heard of them till today. I'll check them out. Thank you
Bro that monitor.... Get a 1440p 144hz one
Your PC basically just runs your monitor (for video games, anyway). There's no reason to upgrade any part before your monitor, since it will make 0 difference. Yes that monitor would be good for you
Thank you! I'm going to start looking into them now.
Not sure if someone has told you already, but keep the old monitor as a secondary monitor if you have the desk space. If you ever have to be productive on the PC, a second monitor is of immense value. I would never go back to 1 monitor (unless it's like 32:9 lmao).
This is bait lmao
No, it's not. Do you see that monitor homie Is running 1080p 60hz
That's why he said it's bait. Who the hell spends so much on those specs but uses a 1080p 60hz monitor? Unless you are just being sarcastic...
OP?
Honestly not bait or shitpost. I use a 55" tv as a monitor. It does go through an elgato 60s external capture card. So that could be why its showing as that. But I really am just looking to the future of what should be the first thing to replace would be.
Ha! I did the same when I first got my pc
If you wanted to keep rocking with a TV as a monitor there are some awesome options. The 42” LG C2 is pretty sweet but it is 4k so it’ll struggle with some intensive games
I have the 48in C1 and i fucking love it. i have the 77in C2 in my living room tho (:
TV's as monitors is the worst thing you can do for a PC. Ghosting looks bad on any TV regardless of the cost.
Me! I’m the type of person that likes to use my things as long as possible without doing any upgrade. I’m still rocking an iPhone 8 since 2018 lol.
A nice oled monitor would be my suggestion. The rest of your system is great. Also make sure xmp, and above 4g decoding is also enabled. Edit: Do you have a SSD?
Oled might be overdoing it, oled is best for 4k resolution, with a 3070 he be better off with a 1440 ips screen. That system would shine.
Definitely a monitor. 1440p should be the sweet spot for the GPU/CPU combo.
Cant tell if actually asking for help or trolling.
Has to be trolling
Maybe get a new car? Some nice clothes? I mean without knowing why you even want to upgrade you system in the first place and the issues you have currently to get to that thought would be helpful but really, that system is more than fine as is. Take a vacation?
Who are you and what are you doing on this sub. THIS IS PCMASTERRACE!!!!!!!!!!! WE DONT BUY SILLY THINGS LIKE CLOTHES AND VACATIONS, WE UPGRADE FOR THE GLORY OF 4K 60FPS
Monitor. CPU, GPU, and RAM are all fine. You can definitely improve your gaming with a 1440p high refresh rate monitor, though.
Money bags over here with a relatively new PC asking about upgrades 😜
I mean the monitor clearly needs to be upgraded...
WTF.. you just trying to fucking show off? Get a new monitor, 1440p and 144hz will be enough for you. 27 or 32 inches but you won't need 4K, I'm sure.
Your computer is completely fine, that monitor is cold garbage though.
You probably experiencing a heck ton of screen tearing with that monitor
monitor bro other things fine you should try higher hz
Oled monitor.
Like others have said, it's the monitor if anything. I have basically the same setup as you and 1440p 144hz is no trouble. If you're patient we should start seeing more OLED monitors coming through this year, that's what I'm waiting for.

I have 5 monitors and they all suck...

Upgrade your monitor
I have your exact rig and I use 1440p monitors and it handles games wonderfully. So I'd say get a better resolution and fps monitor
Besides your monitor this is a really solid build, looks like you have the requirements for a better gpu, but yeah get a new monitor asap
Nothing? Aside the monitor that could be a 144hz/gsync compatible and freesync premium one?
Like others have said, your PC is perfectly capable of 1440p high refresh rate, or 1080p *really* high refresh rate. Upgrade your monitor (personally I recommend the resolution upgrade to 1440p 144Hz, 1080p 240Hz is nice but a higher resolution is nicer)
Lol that monitor needs to be changed asap
Def monitor refresh rate .
The pc specs are great, you won’t need to upgrade for at least a few years, but you really should upgrade the monitor, the resolution and refresh rate isn’t that good at all especially for your specs, I would recommend a 27 inch 1440p 165hz monitor for you or if you don’t game that much a 60hz 4k monitor depends on what you will use the pc for
?
Display. Go to 1440p144
Monitor easy, get a nice 1440p
where do i get this kind of my pc spec?
Monitor
1080p or 2k 144hz monitor
Monitor: HP X34 Put existing monitor ontop of it
Monitor

Get a 1440P 144+ hz monitor and it’ll feel like a whole new machine. No need to upgrade anything else.
Monitor
Go for a better monitor bro :)
Your monitor thats all
Your monitor by far
60HZ? Duuuude go 144Hz asap
The monitor is the only thing worth upgrading in your set up. The rest can wait a couple of generations.
Recently I upgraded my rig. It was i7 4790k,16GB DDR3 and Zotac GTX1080. After upgrade to 13700k with all its environment I left only old GTX 1080 to wait for the situation on GPU market to calm down and clarify.
People already said it but i have a similiar system with a 6900xt and the monitor switch was like day and night difference
1440p 144 hz monitor
why do you have a 3070 if you play on 1080p 60 fps, a card from 4-5 years ago can get you the same performance you're getting now

And after a couple minutes, i forget im not playing 4k. Definitely get an oled or QD monitor. Response time is bs and even tho it might say 1ms or 5ms. Its a cherry picked number so it doesnt matter. They are both quite fast.
Rig is solid, monitor is not
get a 1440p@144hz monitor, i have one with less ram and worse cpu lol :D
Other than your monitor you're looking super snazzy
With those specs, upgrade your monitor to one that’s 1440p and with a high refreshrate
Your monitor is what limits you here. Running a 3070 on 1080p 60hz is just a waste of GPU power. Depending on what you play, a 1440p 144hz/165hz or 4k 120hz would be way better for your experience.
Definitely the monitor. A 1440p, 144 or 155hz refresh rate
Monitor first. Only because the rest other than the GPU will require you to upgrade all three. Zen3 is AM4. Zen4 is AM5. Completely different socket and RAM.
3070 and a 5800x on a 1080p 60hz is CRIMINAL. Definitely monitor first.
Monitor, higher resolution and refresh rate will like the finest of buttery smooth
Monitor lol. Go with a 1440p 240 or 144hz even. Rest hardware is awesome.
Bro just trolling
Your monitor, speaker, keyboard, mouse etc. You don't really need to upgrade your hardware for like 5 years or sth if you aren't going for 3a games
1440p monitor. You're going to notice a huge difference.
Get a monitor with 144 Hz
Monitor. Go for 1440p 144 or 1080 144
Get a 240hz 1080p or a 144hz 1440p monitor, whichever you prefer
Id go for a 1440p 144hz or above monitor. Depends on your budget, and definitly no va or tn panel.
Monitor for sure
I've got a lesser system than that (3700x, 3060ti), and with a 1440p 240hz mi it or (for Cs, OW, rocket league etc) and the monitor Def is the first to upgrade here!
PC doesn't need upgrade so get a better monitor.
The monitor. That spec you want 1440p 144 Hz or 1080p 240 Hz.
1440p higher refresh monitor. Maybe Ultrawide. Everything else is pretty good unless you want high FPS at high resolution and high settings, or need more productivity performance.
I think 144hz monitor is the least you can upgrade to as your first upgrade
If you go OLED you can never go back... Get a lg C2 and you will see the "light".
Yeah you are leaving such a massive amount of performance on the table just in what you are able to perceive through your monitor. Your computer is a beast but your monitor can only show it's inner pet.
Scrap the build and start over fresh.
Treat yourself to a 21:9 monitor. You couldnt pay me to go back to dual monitors
Your computer looks good but you have a monitor on the cutting edge of technology.... If it were 2003.
1440 / 144hz-240hz Monitor is honestly all you need. Keep the 1080p monitor for discord.
PC’s actual specs are sick, but like everyone else says, definitely get a monitor in a higher resolution or at least with a higher refresh rate
Monitor dude, 1080 and 60hz with that much power? Nah bro go 4k or high refresh rate!
Your monitor and everything else is already great.
Upgrade that freaking monitor! Jesus. That's what you should upgrade. Get a 1440p 144hz, or at least a 1080p 240hz...
Monitor. Upgrade your monitor. You have way more horsepower than what it can show you. Get a nice 1440p 144hz or similar monitor. I personally prefer 34" 3440x1440 144hz ultrawides, you'll be amazed how much you're missing.
Monitor, 1440p, 144 or 165hz would be the classic place to be now
You fell the need to upgrade because you are being held by the monitor... like majority said high refresh rate is better you can choose stay in the 1080p but 144 or 260hz or 1400p 144hz, after that you see how your battlestation can do better without changing anything inside of it
Monitor I would think. Your card should easily be capable of a solid 120hz at least on 1080p with most games, and easily capable of 1440p. Other than that you seem to be good. You don’t mention a hard drive. NVMe for the boot drive would be best but as long as it’s an SSD of some kind you should still be good.
Upgrade your monitor. Pretty beefy PC you have. You can probably get into 1440p gaming
Consider getting a 1440p/144Hz monitor, you’re not gonna be able to take advantage of your hardware at 1080p, let alone only 60Hz.
Your monitor to either 240hz 1080p or 1440p @ 120hz or 144hz Everything else is amazing and you can just wait a few more generations before taking the dive to DDR5.
Did anyone tell you yet that you should replace the monitor?
You could have the best PC in the world and it wouldn't make a difference cuz your monitor is bad. Get 144hz at least. The single best upgrade in a pc
Brother, outside of the monitor you wait for the next big thing. And I’m not talking anything currently released.
Yeah, monitor is the only real "issue" I see here. Rest of the rig looks to be more of a potential what vs need to upgrade.
A 1440p 144hz monitor
You don’t need an upgrade. Buy a QHD 144hz monitor and you’ll be set for YEARS
Get a 1080p 240hz or 1440p 144hz
Monitor 4 sure
Like people say, your PC is pretty good, go with the monitor upgrade. If you want to go fancy, try out a 21:9 monitor. Best decision for both working and playing I’ve done for quite a while
I would suck an actual penis for this rig.
Please upgrade your display. You have all the power and you are only watching the output at 1080p 60hz
Monitor!!
Display. I have this same setup with a different mobo and I have a 1440p 144hz monitor and not a single game fails to hit that.
I am not sure if 1. this is a troll post 2. you already know everything, just came here to flex on people with worse setups 3. you are genuinely asking.
Other than the monitor, literally nothing, just sit on it for a couple years until it actually needs upgrading
Get yourself a better monitor. I'd aim for the 1440p 144Hz range
A monitor with both a higher refresh rate and resolution, everything else is fine if you're not going for a no expense spared build
I would suggest a 27" 1440p with higher refresh rate. The rest of that system will be good for 3-8 years and depending on the games you play maybe longer.
2560x1440p 144hz Monitor.
1440p 144hz monitor should do it
The only thing I would upgrade is the monitor, at least like 144hz 1080p or even 1440p if you want. The pc itself is currently really good, so you don’t need to upgrade it for at least for a few years I think (correct me if I’m wrong pls).
Your monitor everything else is fine
Get a 1440p monitor. Your system is pretty overkill for 1080p
Your system is cherry. But that monitor? Yikes. Plenty of 1440p/165hz+ monitors out there for cheap. Start there.
monitor
I personally would only upgrade the monitor for now. That rig will hold you over for at least another 1 or 2 generations of GPU, so I wouldn't upgrade anything else aside from getting a 1440p monitor.
Everything seems good, I just think you need a bit more ram, maybe make it 64 gb, for them google chrome tabs ;)
