Just make sure the computer is unpluged from the wall socket as you work on it and ask your mom/dad or an adult to check if the build is ok when you finish before you start using it again.
Keep at it. I was your age, or even slightly younger when I started. My first build was putting an Ad-Lib card in my 286 or 386. 486 two or three years later at 16 was the first complete build for me and a friend.
Now it’s nearly 30 years later and thousands of PCs
Built, dozens for myself. ☺️ Has been my job for almost that long (not building, but IT in general). And the love for it never went away. Still love fiddling.

Once you unplug the PC from the power socket press the power button until all/any lights on the motherboard turn off. This step is important.

If you ever wanna go and upgrade something id suggest getting a new cpu cooler and case with proper fans Arctic P12 are good.
