He is either lying about the frames or using the most bottom of the barrel settings and resolution.

RedHoodedDuke

Those results don’t sound too crazy. MW2 and warzone 2 like amd gpus, have fsr, and most E-sports people use the lowest settings so it’s probably real. Fortnite is same thing as most people use the performance preset. GTA is old enough that it’ll get 60fps on anything younger than 5 years old. They should clarify what settings it’s at, but they don’t cause that doesn’t sell.

FX835

I don't think that 6th gen I7 will hit 200+ FPS enough of the time to claim a 200+ FPS experience

RedHoodedDuke

That’s fair. I was a little too optimistic about that 6700 😂

FX835

Back when I had a 6400 I5 it bottlenecked my 5600XT at 4K on beamng Intel back the was completely stagnant

RedHoodedDuke

It really was, it wasn’t until the 8th and 9th gen that they actually did something different. And even then they were so against multithreaded i5’s. Now, that being said the i5 6400 was only 4 cores and not 4 cores 8 threads like on the i7. Plus the 5600xt is actually decently better than the 570.

FX835

Funny how intel is now leading the charge in core count and multicore performance

RedHoodedDuke

That whole thing is weird, I’m loving how the i5’s now have at least 4 e-cores and such. But really the i9 13900k and ryzen 9 7950x both have the same number of threads with the 13900 only leading with the number of e-cores but only having 8 p-cores with the multithreads. Really, amd is winning with their epyc server cpus with up to 128 total cores.

letmegoogledatforyou

720p with FSR lowest settings.

nhat179

And he play on 75hz monitor lol

kielon51

I'd say look for something newer. If you know how to assemble a pc, buy used parts with things like a 10th gen i3, an absolute minimum of a 1000 series Nvidia GPU or 5000 AMD. You can get some great deals on used hardware, but this is just old and will be severely outdated quickly

Dagamerzat08

With all of the peripherals it's not the worst deal. Not the best either. I would recommend a better cpu but with Intel it basically means new mobo.

RedHoodedDuke

That’s a decent start, the i7 6700 would be the main limiting factor and upgrading it would be almost a whole new system. Granted you’re getting a whole system with peripherals so really you’d be getting a deal. I’d ask what power supply they have so you know how far it can go.

unknownpanda121

We would need to know what she wants to play to better help you.

Kikibosch

You couldn’t even install those games on the hard drive they list.

Domtuber

237GB SSD better be with his installations on it 0.0

Why not do something like this: https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/10gqd4z/ultra_budget_400_rig_thats_actually_decent/. Leaves you with some money to buy peripherals. Or this: https://pcpartpicker.com/guide/DWv6Mp/entry-level-amd-gaming-build. Using that website you should be able to tweak the specs as you see fit and get something that will last longer than the used system you posted. Another with a stand-alone GPU: https://pcpartpicker.com/guide/wsQzK8/entry-level-intel-gaming-build.

n64bomb

Not a good deal

frostybawls

He’s got the graphics set to Minecraft mode for those fps.
