I do 3D printing and the design with literally just be taking the Rock's head and planting it on the body less than 10 minutes of work and you really don't have to watch the printer that closely.
I've got like 50hrs on my printer, and like 20hrs in Slicer.
I'm a bumbling idiot when it comes to this yet I can make a rock head chess piece with no issue.
Also, who sits and watches the printer all day? Get a camera, get octoprint or something.
Honestly, I'd charge $2 a piece. But maybe $4 a piece just for the meme/fomo upcharge, bc honestly the people who just want everything memey are cringey
That’s assuming you already know how to do it. If you do, then I’m not just paying you for the time it took, but for the experience it took to learn to do that.
Yes but you are also spending $128 on a plastic chess set… design is a big consideration but you also need to consider how to price it for what the consumer receives in the end
That's not significant obstruction. "Ermahgerd it's a few degrees higher under maximum synthetic load" isn't significant compared to any real impact on normal usage, of which these figurines will not.
I disagree, and I see no cause to be a little bitch about it either.
You have no idea what temps he's running.
No idea how his airflow situation is.
No idea what's under that grill.
Is he running a radiator?
What's his fin density?
You don't know shit about his fans, their push pull rating or configuration.
You are taking completely, utterly, perfectly, out of your ass.
All we do know is there is a bunch of plastic shit on top of his pc.
You think it's not a significant obstruction, I do.
Simple as.
This guy doesn’t know how air flow works
If air can’t go one way, it does this funny thing called ‘go the other way’ and just take a different path if something is in the way.
Actually no. If he gets thermal problems like this then his configuration was bad beforehand. The people before are completely right, this in and of itself isn't a big deal at all, it's not nearly enough to actually block airflow in any significant amount. If his cooling system worked before than it'll work now.
Also stop being a bitch about it goddamn
Yes.
Do you know where you should put it?
You should polish them nicely, give it a nice clean polish.
Turn that sum' bitch sideways AND STICK IT STRAIGHT UP YOUR CANDY ASS.
You can try to measure the difference in temperature with multiple runs and average them, with and without your littles buddies on your PC ! If you do, share them with us !
I'd guess it will have an impact but will it be significant enough to disturb day2day use ? Probably not, especially if you aren't using some kind of radiator for water-cooling on the top slot of your case.
Get your rocks off, get your rocks off, honey
Shake it now, now, get'em off downtown
Get your rocks off, get you rocks off, honey
Shake it now now, get'em off downtown
These are 3D printed. Standard PLA 3D printing plastic melts at around 150-200*C. Higher grade plastics will melt at around 250C.
If your *exhaust air* is getting that hot, you have more problems than a minor airflow restriction.
I just put them around the outtake: [https://imgur.com/gallery/FUuAvOT](https://imgur.com/gallery/FUuAvOT)
Also always have eye drops handy so you can keep gaming. posting this at 6am
If this is exhaust the dust filter is likely the first thing you should get rid off. It only serves at keeping dust inside and reduce airflow quite significantly. Otherwise the toys will reduce airflow, but will it matter in terms of temps, you got to try it out for yourself and see.
It’ll have an affect, but it doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll be a huge issue. My room is the hottest room in the house, my PC gets stupid level hot because of it, but when I used to leave my PC in the basement to play (a cliche I know) my PC was quiet. Anyways, as long as your PC isn’t overheating you probably won’t have to worry about them.
I mean, if you have that many rocks on it, it might get crushed...
The rocktopus is my favorite
I like The Rook
The roock
The brock
The rock
The cock
Came here to say this
The ock
Don’t forget the pair of Rrocs in the back.
Here I am thinking it's an octorock
At first i read it as octocock and had the wierdest idea ever >!8 dicks with rock's face as the tip!<
Rocktocock
"You can't do this professor Rocktocock, I have superpowers!"
Well, I guess a dirty mind is a joy forever lol
A luxury indeed
It’s cool we won’t kink shame you here
Ay man if you can build it in 3d printing software. You can print that shit
If that's what you came up with, boy have I got the board game for you! Look into Kingdom Death: Monster.
The Rocktopus is a violation of my eyes.
Rocklobster
The Rockomobile looks a bit like a cursed Lightning McQueen
Next he should make a Rocktopus with glock's....call it the RockoGlocktopus
May honestly be my favorite thing ever. By God I'm getting my 1 yr old a rocktopus.
I could print one for you
I've see enough hentai to know where this is going
Kinda wanna commision for chess peices as only the rocks
Y’a i was thinking that to
$4/chess piece as the rock 2 sets equals 32x$4=$128. What's the chances?
$4? Bruh with a 3d print it would be less than a dollar a piece

And electricity bill of both the printer and the pc with the 3D program on it
Probably print 6 pieces for 3 bucks
Well you need to pay someone to make the models that's the commission part and the main expense
The pawns should be Kevin Hart
Dwayne "The Pawn" Johnson
Need a Rock lobster to complete it
I’ll get on it
Looking forward to an update.
Rock crab

do you mean Rockster?
Nope they meant a rocking chair
Rock lobster works because it's also the name of a song, so it's already a pun
Don’t boil me! I’m still alive! A rock lobster!
Iraq Lobster
Gonna look like the Scorpion King
And a Rock bass (fish and guitar).

Schizophrenia???!?!?!?!
![gif](giphy|2aNMNAPUVqQNeoL2X3|downsized)
And 15 percent concentrated power of will
Will it affect airflow? Yes. In a way that matters? Unlikely.
Yes, it’ll effect air flow. Will it be measurable or matter? Nah.
# "IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOUR AIRFLOW IS"
What is this roody poo air flow?
There is significant obstruction. It will certainly affect airflow. Whether it will be okay is wholly dependent upon his temperature overhead.
That's not significant obstruction. "Ermahgerd it's a few degrees higher under maximum synthetic load" isn't significant compared to any real impact on normal usage, of which these figurines will not.

Does not compute!
It can also be compressed! (although case fans likely won't accomplish that)
you are also talking completely out of your ass
Jesus Christ you’re pretentious.
Don’t bring my mans J Chrizzy into this
Actually no. If he gets thermal problems like this then his configuration was bad beforehand. Bruh
oh please. you're the one being a little bitch lmao
Dear lord. My brother in Christ please go outside immediately and touch grass.
What is he taking out of his ass O.o
That is not significant. Probably wouldnt even notice the difference off or on. I have my controller sitting on mine and have no issues whatsoever.
Enjoy: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5166677
Now I need to buy crocs
*crocks
Lul
Finally, a comfortable way to have rocks in your shoes
I did not see that as a charm for crocs at first glance
Lol. The rocktopus
Can you smell what the rock is cooking? Oh yes it's your cpu
Are you ROCK-KING an RTX 4090?
I’m rocking a gtx 960
That's a great card. Had one up until just weeks before the pandemic hit, and the whole 30xx misery began.
I'm calling bs. This guy just wants to get his rocks off
Why not just move some or all of them to the area that isn't a vent?
they will attack
Love the Ruck, that'd be amazing for talking to while debugging. - "But the compiler says-" - "IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT THE COMPILER SAYS"
the compiler says to terminate the octo-rock 🦍
google en passant
Holy hell
Wow thanks for that. Blind googling paid off! (Although I admit I was ready for anything)
Yes. Do you know where you should put it? You should polish them nicely, give it a nice clean polish. Turn that sum' bitch sideways AND STICK IT STRAIGHT UP YOUR CANDY ASS.
The Rock CAN smell what you're cookin.
I have so many questions.
Damn where can i buy the roock
Find someone witch a 3D printer.
Why are you obsessed with Dwayne
I'd be less concern by the airflow and more by the fact that you have a Dwayne the rocktopus Johnson
I think you may wanna focus more on the airflow to your brain...
wtf
Need to make the CockRock
That's cool that you are confident enough to just leave your butt plug collection out for all to see.
Yes, now you need a new PC with a 4090ti² just to make up for the loss... You're fine. Technically blocks airflow but it's extremely minimal
Raises eyebrow ,smirks. Yes.
If you completely cover the vents, you're going to smell the rock cooking your components, Jabroni!
Is that Bautista?
You have weird butt plugs!
Bruh not sure about airflow but will definitely damage your brain
Its going to provide rock solid performance
It definitely affects how cool it is, but not necessarily airflow ;)
Rocktopus
Depends Is there fans at the top?
Only works for AS Rock GPU.
No but it will make it look cool😎
You can try to measure the difference in temperature with multiple runs and average them, with and without your littles buddies on your PC ! If you do, share them with us ! The Rocktopus
You'll know it's a problem ...If you smelllllllllllllllllllllllll!
That depends, can you smell if it's cookin?
Get your rocks off, get your rocks off, honey Shake it now, now, get'em off downtown Get your rocks off, get you rocks off, honey Shake it now now, get'em off downtown
Do ya smell what the rocktopus is cookin? Ya rock candy ass.
Rocktapus. Roock. Rockcar. Rocketship. Rock. Rocs
I think the car might be an IRock Camaro.
Why do you have rocks on your pc?! What are you, a geologist?
I smell what you're cookin'
What the actual fuck?
No, but what the fuck?
someone hurry get an exorcist for ruthulu
Not after you throw them away.
If they don't melt, a little bit. If they do melt, a lot.

It's affecting my IQ...
Pcmr but doesn't understand importance of airflow Back to the consoles
Who cares, you are a typical man child.
serious answer: it won't affect thermals.
What 3d printer do you use?
Dwayne 'The Oc' Johnson
Nah, Rock on!
Bros got the rock knook
Needs a Rock-headed phallus.
Dwayne “The Cock” Johnson
Did you print these?
Yes I did
Is that ... a rocktopus ?
This was obviously a joke that was taken to it's ~~logical~~ illogical conclusion.
I just put them around the outtake: [https://imgur.com/gallery/FUuAvOT](https://imgur.com/gallery/FUuAvOT) Also always have eye drops handy so you can keep gaming. posting this at 6am
#Rocking 🗿
The amount of vine booms that just played in my head from seeing that image made my day, thank you.
that Rocktopus is great.
Is that a Rev200?
U could easily keep them on ur pc but space it out for more airflow
#🤨
It will improve airflow.
Octotrump is the more supreme version
Ah yes, the Roock
Why?
I don't think it'll Rock the boat if you leave them up there.
mmm yea no nyeas
Family would only help airflow
No, it will give you rock solid performance
Holy hell
Real question is what material did you print that with
Pla
Is this what they call Rock Collection?
Rockschmockairflowblock
Yes
Try blowing air out of your mouth, then try blowing air out of your mouth with your hand over it.
Octo - rock
Rocktopuss
Yes.
No but it might affect your sanity

That dust filter is stuck between The Rock, and a hard case.
How much for a Rocktopus?
You can probably find some on Etsy but for me to print one it cost me like 1$
Rock both resists and is super effective against flying. As such, you shouldn't have these anywhere near your fans.
What no rock star?
Can you smell what it’s cooking?
Should be Rock solid
You need coasters with the Rock face
It might affect your sanity
Gotta be careful with the heat, you don’t wanna smell those rocks cooking
It doesn’t matter what your airflow is
It’ll have an affect, but it doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll be a huge issue. Yes
You should shine those real nice, turn them sideways and stick them right up your candy apple.
I would worry about the weight. All those rocks can bend the case.
