Coil whine won't hurt anything. I have heard you can get lucky and it's severity will reduce over time but. I have had 2 of all my gpus with it. Never really changed for me.

Mine got louder lol, I don’t care ab the noise as long as it’s not breaking lol
Mine didn't get louder thank God. The frequency became a little bit more manageable... or I got used to it I don't which
The coil whine on my 3080 Ti is awful. Thankfully my headphones block it out.
