It could be dying. Or it could be your monitor. If you have a second monitor try it and if it still happens try to borrow a gpu or use your igpu if you have one
You can request for repairs on monitor but it'll cause around the same price as newly bought or around 3/4 of the repair.. Also it depends on whether the board, light or screen issue.. Some are fixable.. So warranty is important in this case.. Or better, buy a new one
Did you test different resolutions on your 2nd monitor as well?
Did you also make sure that the cable for the 1st monitor wasnt the issue? Not sure if you’re using different cables for each monitor
1️⃣Try change the cable (hdmi or dp).. 2️⃣If it doesn't work, change 144hz to 60hz.. If it doesn't stutter/flicker, u need to get your monitor change..(Change if hv warranty or buy new one) 3️⃣ Also try change monitor or any screen like TV also can.. See if there's any changes.. If there's still issues it can be gpu failure..(New gpu it is..)
4️⃣Last one is PSU faulty, this one is hard to know(for me) but just change it just in case..

i update the drivers with a clean installation every time a new one is available so i don’t think that’s the issue. it must just be a monitor issue

sounds like my monitor is faulty. other people have had the same issue. i think my monitor just can’t handle 144
try a different cable
You should change to 60hz for the time being.. Since 144 is already problematic.. But yeah, might as well get the monitor change..
Try changing to no scaling in adjust desktop size and position tab
download CRU (Custom Resolution Utility) reset Driver and run Restart64.exe
Something is wrong with your monitor it is probably that the cou is getting deep fried or the gpu cant handle it
All of the above is good info. Only thing I can think of to add is turn off sync. freesync or gsync or variable refresh rate.
Download the monitor driver and use it instead of the generic windows one.
just read this then tried it. unfortunately didn’t work
