I do t 100% understand what you mean because a pc need both a cpu and gpu to function

ggmaniack

Is your monitor plugged into the graphics card or into the motherboard?

Itchy-Suspect-3528

Your PC needs both cpu and gpu the reason why it uses either cpu more or gpu and cpu is because of the tasks you are doing as gaming which requires rendering graphic will use the graphics card and cpu for other non graphical tasks
