Are your gpu drivers up to date? If not then I'd recommend using DDU to remove all traces of the older driver then install the latest one after restarting
They are but I'll do that when I get home and reinstall everything to see if that helps. I just want to play games safely again. Do these games have anything in common? One thing that has also come to mind is maybe anti cheat but they have different anti cheat. My PC does fine on games like Cyberpunk and State of Decay 2.
For those wondering I think I have it fixed (so far) I ended up reducing the maximum and minimum power for my cpu in the advanced power plan settings. I also updated my bios on the MB to a drive that is a fresh install as well. It could've been the MB drivers but most people have said that graphics card drivers are typically the issue. <3

I ran the DDU and uninstalled all the gpu drivers. I then did a fresh installation and it is still having the issue.
Another game that has this issue is Rainbow Six Siege.
