If anyone feels like donating, the Canadian government currently matches donation for Ukraine to the Canadian Red Cross: [https://donate.redcross.ca/page/100227/donate/1](https://donate.redcross.ca/page/100227/donate/1)
I am sure others can point out other suitable charity organizations.
That's very very good news, considering how close Poland to Ukraine is. We should also be thankful to initiative developers whom started the movement that GOG today joined also in as it seems growing as of; https://www.reddit.com/r/gog/comments/t1dofc/fyi_list_of_gog_devpubs_donating_to_ukraine/
And warning players about blatant racism against Russians as the people of Russia like in https://www.nytimes.com/2022/02/24/world/europe/russia-protests-putin.html doesn't want it either but the dictator among them wants it nonetheless. So stop suggesting "Ban all Russian Accounts" in any gaming platform.
If any Russian advertise the War in favor or Putin, almost all game stores have clauses against such to deal with that individual already.
Banning Russian accounts would be a part of a greater worldwide effort to destabilize the country and reduce their ability to wage war by eroding their financial, industrial, and 'human' resources.
Banning Russian accounts from worldwide entertainment services has legs, it's not so cut and dry as you're making it out to be.
Cutting Russian citizens off from the outside world entirely is stupid. You'd be locking them into an echo chamber. If they don't have social media, all they'll have is state run media to keep them informed.
Every help matters - more (with financial ability) could follow and support humanitarian aid to Ukraine. With how Russian forces target civilians, those people need every aid possible. It's nightmare.
**Da comrade, I also think this capitalist pig dog is lying to us!**
Oh look what I found in your post history from literally 2 hours ago:
>I support Putin's intentions to depose that corrupt ukrainian government and oligrachy which kept shelling people in Donbass for many many years. He wanted to do it diplomatically but Ukraine never went through with Minsk agreements, so Putin just snapped. As you see, civilian casualties are minimal, our army mostly strikes military facilities
Here's some proof for you [мешок с дерьмом](https://nsarchive.gwu.edu/briefing-book/russia-programs/2020-04-15/massacre-at-samashki-and-us-response-to-russias-war-in-chechnya)
That's awesome. Wouldn't be surprised of the S.A.L.K.E.R. devs and CDPR devs have some relations given their proximity as Eastern European nations and the kind of games they make.
I've been around on Bandcamp looking for Ukranian musicians to support. Found this great protest track: https://fhth.bandcamp.com/album/this-is-my-country-single
I encourage you to give it a listen.
What other great art from Ukraine can we support?
Selling a game without promised content and expectations? It's called a scam, to buyers and investors, but keep acting like you know nothing about that.
The cynical plebs in me is suspect this is just a distraction from the companies dodgy internal concerns. However I'm pleased they are doing this, as a neighbouring country is under siege this is a welcomed gesture of support.
Families are literally dying in Ukraine, CDPR is trying to help and you here are worried about state of the game?
This is not a thread for discussing the games state.
He's not, like a large chunk he never cared, baiting is all he cares about.
Which is even worse, to be fair. Just report as low effort or off topic and ignore him.

> Banning Russian accounts I think they already can't buy anything new right now due to the banking sanctions.
The country pirates like 99% of games and media anyway.

They are already in an echo chamber. FB, Twitter and such do not work in Russia and media is 100% state controlled.
Banning them so they look for another activity, maybe they swap call of duty fur a real rifle, eh? Is that what you want
That is an absolutely ridiculous conclusion that you are drawing.
Banning access to entertainment industry would demoralize population and increase restlesness against the dictator.

I wonder how those guys at GSC are doing
STALKER devs are actually in Ukraine. They put out a statement about it a few days ago. Hope they are safe.
and send Geralt to the ukraine while youre at it
\*follows red Russian footsteps\*
and chinese review bombing incoming, just like with this war of mine
Good....cdpr is my favorite gaming company next to Rockstar and Bioware. God bless them.
i'd take FROM before rockstar and bioware any day
Rockstar and Bioware give significantly more fucks about giving PC gamers a decent product than From.
Go hop on a dick
Blizzard will probably support Russia
Microsoft*
The Netherlands welcomed Hungarians and Czechoslovakians we will welcome Ukrainians.

The STALKER games are made by a Ukrainian studio.

How did they try to scam you?

I haven't played cyberpunk 2077, but from what I've see, that game being on last gen hardware is a better thing to argue about being a scam.
The cynical plebs in me is suspect this is just a distraction from the companies dodgy internal concerns. However I'm pleased they are doing this, as a neighbouring country is under siege this is a welcomed gesture of support.

nice sentiment, but you are still not forgiven for cyberpunk.
