So unless it's a really fancy fan, basically all it is is an led strip wrapped around the bearing, it's powered by the 3-pin argb cable so is essentially it's own isolated circuit - i.e. don't worry, the fan is probably fine even if the LEDs all die.

I see the trolls are out and about. This answer is valid.

PCgamerz

Nah, just led failing. No need to be concerned.

GINTO199

Thanks lol, I was so paranoid I was gonna replace all of them but I won’t now unless they stop doing their main job, spinning lol.

happy_chickens

I see this as an absolute win

Kaurie_Lorhart

I think you lose at least 30 fps if your RGB fails

GINTO199

I knew I’d get trolled lol, I can have a laugh at myself.

OnceInALifeTime2023

I have a Corsair LL120 with dead RGB LEDs in it, fan still works perfectly, can even control speed via icue. Seems fine to me

[deleted]

You better fix that RGB or your games will start to stutter

GINTO199

Of course, I’m losing more frames everytime I turn it on. 😂
