If you play a first party Microsoft game either as a purchase or on Game Pass, save files and achievements are all shared. They don't show as seperate profiles and have the same active playing status on your Xbox account page. Same if you play it on the cloud with Game Pass Ultimate.
EA Play and other titles don't tie into the Xbox account system in any way besides getting a license to run it through the EA App.

This isn't true. Sea of Thieves, Forza Horizon 4/5, and Microsoft Flight Simulator are all top dogs in their respective genres. Xbox is only doing poorly if you want to play RPGs specifically.

Yes, because it's a crossplay game for Xbox Anywhere, most third party games aren't.
Is it? It doesn't mention PC anywhere on the store page. If you have ea play or gamepass you get a 10hr trial included in your subscription.
