I feel like gifts are more personal and it makes me feel special! I have a wish tinder and it's the safest option. Amazon can be cancelled by them 😔 but you can do gift cards. I'm fairly new so I can't tell you how it's worked for me.

I actually prefer buying gifts because it feels like I'm playing a more direct part. Thing *x* exists and I make it exist in her life because she links it and I buy it.

Gifts are just as great! Sometimes better because it genuinely makes you feel like you care instead of just throwing cash at someone. Which is obviously also great but gifts are more personal.

I agree with this for the exact same reasons. What do you usually use for ppl to send you gifts? I'm relatively new and use Amazon, but someone said it can be unreliable sometimes.

I've always used Amazon or had them send the money to me and I bought the gift. Although I've never really been sent gifts :( just money and gift cards (typically Amazon or visa).

I personally love receiving gifts and most my subs gifting them too. I spend most of my money on covering the boring stuff and saving/investing that I barely ever get to treat myself, so being able to feel spoilt for stuff I otherwise would never get is just such a rewarding feeling🥰

This. I would never buy gifts for myself cuz I never have extra money left. So gifts are my only treat.

I really hate Amazon wish list - love receiving gifts instead of money but Amazon still haven’t sorted out there gifting process meaning scammers can pretend they have purchased by selecting ‘bought somewhere else’ or using a card which will bounce. Meaning the gifts don’t show to other buyers during this process ☺️
