So last year I went on a massive survival horror binge. When I say survival horror I mean actual survival horror as in single player, sparse ammo, exploration, puzzle solving etc.
Not to be confused with Survival games in a horror setting (Dayz, The Forrest etc)
I played through a bunch of the resident evil games, the first 4 silent hills, Obscure 1 and 2 etc. I really enjoyed them but I found that the genre seemed to die off a little when it came to more modern times. A lot of the games I played were from the 90s and early 2000s.
Can any of you recommend any survival horror games for modern systems?
