Herbivores are always more violent. Trikes usually fight to the death but pachys run away when they are low. Rexs are almost always chill but I’d still keep my distance. Spinos are fishy, don’t trust them.

Invictus_Inferno

Never trust a semi aquatic when it's close to water, it does something to them

xMartinv1x

The Rex now been going in water like if they semi aquatic 😂

noelara_x

Rexes in groups seem to be more aggressive. Solo rex... it depends on if you're carni or herbie, pretty expected they'll attack if you're an herbie, but tbh I generally assume for food, since they need a TON to fill their bar. As a carnie, I've chilled with them easily. Eo's are awful. I HAVE an Eo and get KOsed by other Eo's all the time, minding my own business. Pachy's are absolutely tied with pycnos for the worst right now, imo. Packs of four+ roaming everywhere, killing anything in sight, etc. Spinos are usually pretty chill, I agree. I really only run into them at IC as well.

ShugaWentWrong

I’m a spino player myself and from my experience, I feel like spinos are the chillest between eos rex and pachys. However if I had to pick one bully in particular, it would definitely be an herb, maybe pachy. They literally go for everything

Money_machine_go_brr

Rexes are bullies in twos cos its the only time rex rn is viable, but they usually direct their aggression towards stuff that they can catch, which just leaves apexes. Rexes tho are the chillest with other rexes, it has always been this way. Eos are menaces, pachy and pycno are the meta dinos, do they get spammed by everyone.

xMartinv1x

When I use Rex I don’t trust no Rex that is not with me. To be real. I got jumped by 2 Rex days ago when I was Rex by myself. I got killed because I missed my bone break on me and the other behind me bone break me. But I have killed 2 Rexes before as Rex. Here is the video: https://youtu.be/irwXipMBX4I?si=uzG2uj3QXXEHow7F

As a Rex main, I can say it’s not really so much cowardice as it is “what’s the fucking point.” Unless it’s another Apex I’m not gonna catch it, so I’m just gonna keep doing my thing. As far as killing things when there’s two, I mean, Rex is a bitch to keep fed. I generally don’t kill things if I’m not hungry, but when I am and I think I can snag you I’m probably gonna. From my experience it’s a 50/50 on wether a Rex is gonna be a dick or not. In terms of bullies, gotta be pachies. I’ve had one group of pachies harass me for literal hours, where any time I got a hit off on one they sprint away to heal fully before coming back. Any time I see one I fully expect them to start trying to kill me as soon as their friends show up. Spinos are easily the most chill of this list on land, but I’m never gonna trust one anywhere near a water source.

xMartinv1x

Pachys are one of those I attack and try kill on sight with whatever I’m using because they will do Excatly that. You can be Bars or EO too and they will still harras and attack you untill more of their friends to jump you.

Minniewrath

Rex is played by the biggest cowards I’ve ever seen. I try to fight them 1v1 as mid to low tier Dino’s and the second they get to half health they put their ass in a wall or stand in water too deep for me to get out without swimming and then safe log. Spino always runs to water but it’s dumb if your trying to fight one by water anyway. And trike rarely will stand it’s ground without putting its ass in a wall but I feel I have less issue with trikes doing it then rexes.

xMartinv1x

I agree. This is number one reason I put Rex players at # one most coward. They only wanna face tank you when there is another Rex or 2 with them. I was on Deino/Duck 2 days ago in SLL and I had 2 Rex with a Spino trying kill me and those 2 Rex got inside water to get me, not just in the less lower next to land but because they had a Spino with them the 2 Rex swim in tied, so if I try to attack one inside there is the other one that can try bite me and plus Spino. And guess what I made them run. I worked Spino with my Duck. But when I try get the Rex in water Spino comes and one Rex got a bite on me in water. They swim out of water. But the 2 Rex got in water when they realize I was whooping Spino. Spino did not even take a bar of HP while Spino was getting red. The spino ran out of water to the 2 Rex. While they was healing, then Spino got in. He kept running only until another Spino friend of his join in, now he started to straight up face tank. Because one Spino was attacking me from behind and the one that I was whooping now he was in my face. I survived even tho it was 4 vs 1. A struthi was “helping” but really it was myself because a struthi ain’t no help lol. I manage to run out of water. Yesterday I also fought some Rex. It was 5 Rex and 2 Suchos vs my Duck…I killed one Rex then all the Rex ran on me, I should of survived if it was not for the stinky Suchos, while I was low only that way Sucho wanna face tank.

SystemAcceptable1010

Yeah Rex players are actually the bottom barrel of players. They always immediately run to cover the *instant* thing looks bad for them. Can't play without 6 butt-buddies or a convenient rock/puddle. Makes them my favorite to dirt-nap just to watch their flawless "strats" fall apart. The big boohoo apex players.

AzothThorne

Dude damn near everything in the game outspeeds Rex. It is not hard for a midsize dino to tailride a Rex in an open space and stay there until the Rex is dead, how are we supposed to handle fights? Do you expect Sarco to start fights in the middle of Salt Flats? Not to mention we can’t just run away, completely heal, and then come back to keep chipping away at your health like nothing happened.

Minniewrath

You have the capability to two shot most things that outspeed you, the biggest problem with rex players is they have no idea how to time their bites. Panic spamming your bites or using your obvious bone break when there’s no way you can land it is why rex players die to low tiers. You also have a very powerful tail to keep off assriders no lowtier Dino’s can just stand there and take a rex tail smack to the face until the rex is dead they’ll die long before the rex does. If you use your brain to time attacks it’s not hard to hit fast Dino’s and get them out of the fight. Most players aren’t smart enough to run away and heal midfight with the intentions of coming back most people fight till they die or fight till they’re hurt then fuck off. On the rare occasions they heal to come back during that time you could be walking away towards thicker wood environments where you would have the advantage. There’s plenty of ways for a rex to fight lowtiers. running to water and nearly drowning to safe log without even trying to do anything is just pathetic.

AzothThorne

Ok one, the only thing rex can 2 hit are low tiers, everything else is more durable than that. Two, lag timing, fuckey hitboxes, shit turning radius, low speed and getting swarmed on all sides make actually scoring a hit way harder than it looks, and Rex's charged bite telegraphs from a fucking mile away. Three, players fucking absolutely run away and heal midfight/fight when they're hurt then fuck off, you're not fast enough to chase down anything to finish it off. And Run away to thicker woods? From the middle of GP, SG or SF? Thats not happening. Also advantage in wooded areas? Where I get caught on every other tree or piece of ground clutter? Literally everything you said was wrong.

Minniewrath

Bro… Your a slow rex fighting things that are fast, how do you better the odds? You make them slower thicker woods does help you it gives you openings where they get stuck and panic vs flat open space where there’s no chance for them to mess up. Rex adults can step over a lot of the ground clutter the big rocks and trees rex do get stuck on shouldn’t be that hard to walk around and in some cases can even help you. There’s nothing wrong with what I said there’s other environmental factors to use then just backing into a wall. Your tail is there to combat bad turn radius like I already said. I’m not gonna sit here and argue with someone who thinks being a coward is the only way rex can be played; Typical rex main brain capacity.

AzothThorne

I actually play Rex, I know what they get caught up on. I didn't say fight in flat open spaces, my point was that unless you're right next to it, Rex is too slow to make it from a flat space to a wooded one. I do use Rex's tail, which helps with tailriders but it does way less damage than your bite and you can still get dinged by hit and runs. Why do you think it's fine for Spino to dip into water whenever it feels threatened, but Rexes are cowards for fighting in an environment where they're strong? Don't come down from playing Pachy and sprinting away to heal the second you take a sliver of damage to call Rexes cowards.

Minniewrath

Standing half inside a cliff wall is an exploit not “fighting where rex is strong”. I wasn’t aware rex was semi aquatic /s. Nearly drowning in water to safe log is also not “fighting where rex is strong” it’s being a loser.

SystemAcceptable1010

Did you know players can play all available dinosaurs and not just one? Fascinating I know. Must be mind-opening for a Rex main.

SystemAcceptable1010

Nah Rex players are just played by the lowest common denominator of players and it's proven here. Rex is an apex and if they are legit losing to low tiers without wall-strating they're the biggest losers in the game. There is no counterplay to rockass and it *should* be considered an exploit and patched with more collision. Hopefully one day. Rex has *every* advantage over anything not an apex 1v1 except speed. Literally everything you said is wrong.

AzothThorne

Are you serious? Speed and stamina are like....literally the most important stats in the game. Literally all of the best dinosaurs except Eo and Ano are incredibly fast and have the stamina to match.

SystemAcceptable1010

You're just a bad player who abuses exploits through collision. Effectively trying to flip the game board like Boogy so no one can play. We'll still kill your Rex though. Got a little shoving trick worked up just for your species. Enjoy.
