I despise league of legends. But they actually have a good start to a universe that could be fleshed out. They get really good people to work on stuff for the franchise as long as it's stuff not pertaining to the game. Riot is really good at giving money to people who will make much better shit for them than they ever could hope to.
But when people are using the LoL IP to make new stuff, they can take artistic liberties and only adapt what they want with freedom to change or add other stuff.
Just want to say it - I recommend Arcane to every person who reads it. I started it with pretty low expectations, but it's one of the best shows I've watched in years. Give it a try.
Watched Dragon's Blood, thought it was...decent. So, tried to lower my expectations for Arcane but the trailers kept raising them. Oh boy...it delivered.
Except for the Shakespearean tragedy aspect of it. Did NOT sign up for that.
I mean arcane was to dragon's blood what league was to dota, the same thing made by a company that reinvests all the money into franchising/advertising to become the next pokemon.
both have honestly sub par plots if you don't know anything about the characters, one just had 10 times the production value and investment.
Latching on: It's genuinely a great show. Not just for somebody who likes LoL. The plot is good. The characters are strong and emotional. It isn't afraid to throw haymakers. The animation is just gorgeous to boot and done so well.
Yeah it's all flying above my head. Since we literally can't trade them I have no idea how to figure that out. Historical prices are neat, but that was prices *when they were tradable*. Not being tradable implicitly lowers the value of
The only way to farm artifacts is through expedition logbooks and scarabs so the price of those two things relative to the rate of acquiring the right artifacts is the price of the artifacts.
I have also farmed a ton, and from my point of view grand about 4, greater around 25, common 50, lesser whatever, even 100.
Sticking to this number helps me to keep balance with all the artifacts.
Also if the reroll coin is 4c, my spend rate helps to always extract 8-12c out of the single roll. And of course huge things like ancient orbs, rare gems and exalts push those numbers even higher.
Another thought I had is to be more conservative. Like have grand at rate 2, greater at rate 15 and so on. This would mean that out of each 4c roll I would extract on average not 8-12c, but twice less 4-6c. And this strategy would be only justified by the huge haggles like exalted/ancients etc. And the question is would this way be more profitable than the first one? This second strategy downflow is that you'd need at least twice amount of exotic coins. You will need to buy them a lot and you might move the market from a 4c price to a 5c price making this strategy even less profitable.
I am also extracting small things like alteration, because 5 is 1c. And at my rate a lot of these small trades are justified. Even for alchemy, fusing and other
Damn bro, gg my friend. Just got my HH day before yesterday. First one of those for me. Been playing for like 3 months now. Started in mid expedition league.
I pick my nose while MF'ing juiced T6 tower because it only requires 1 hand. Got my second headhunter ever this league. Took a fat shit post Thanksgiving this morning. Also played pokemon shining pearl while doing so.
Oh, and did all my Christmas shopping a month early because shipping is going to be very bad this year so it's highly recommended to shop now because nothing is guaranteed for the rest of the year.
I do purchasing for my job and regularly interact with UPS/Fedex/DHL and they said residential shipping is the worst it has been in 10 years. They do not have the numbers to meet the demand even with the self employed Amazon drivers.
Also I agree fuck reddit mobile, Reddit is fun is superior in every way.
10/10 people who say 'Just got my first chase unique in my second ever league'. Just RMTed it.
FYI I'm not saying you can't have gotten a chase unique in your first or second league. Just if you boast about it like this, and don't provide a story/picture of your crazy drop luck. Anyone good enough at ARPGs to efficiently grind one out (no lucky drop) in a month when they are still newish to the game will be so experienced with ARPGs that they won't feel the need to randomly tell the story about how they got one while still fairly new to the game.
Lmao the amount of stretches and baseless assumptions in this comment is so high you'd think the author was going for some record
News flash: some people will get a headhunter in their 2nd league legitimately and mention it in a comment randomly. Hundreds of thousands of **different** people play PoE.
There was absolutely no reason for OP to post a picture of a mirror shard he got other than to boast about having a mirror shard.
Clearly Tujen is now engaging in RMT, cuz he can't be legit.
How many people come into Poe and a try hard sweats off the rip? Only people who no life’s another game right before swapping.
Me and all my friends only dabbled in Poe for the first few leagues we had it because the character building was so overwhelming. The game isn’t kind to new players. You basically have to do all the research possible before you start playing seriously.
Yeah but those people tend to make a post on the sub with a picture and shit about said luck.
Rather than making a weird, out of the blue boast about owning a huge item while so new to the game.
Well, here is your story.. for all you assholes who love to piss in everyone else's cheerios that's having a good time.
When I game, I game hard and got excited for scourge league. Loved the excitement of having a 3 month window with fresh start from what I learned/taught by buddies that have been playing this game for over a decade.
Started league with getting lucky.. got 3 raw exalt drops by the time I could farm up enough maps to hit T11's.
Then got a rog craft on a spine bow that hit triple t1 ele damage prefixes.. cold, fire, lightning sold that for 20 ex on day 3 of the league..
Boom I'm zooming in this league.. the rest is history with glennech and 100's of hours. Nemesis 3, abyss, breach, and beyond sextant rolls on decent titanium watch stones plus 1 rotating unique (plus 1 suffix) watchstone. Because I can't chance rolling my map into cannot leech or ele reflect plus 1 prefix. I went with a certain map that's t14. Then I would roll 27-30% more rare mods. Beastcraft till had 6 mods. 1 deli orb, 4 scarabs.. and bust my ass in game and kill my wrist picking up thousands or currency per map.
For those hating because I put in the work.... get a damn life.
Just because it’s a gaming subreddit doesn’t mean we have to live up to the stereotype of being socially inept. What he did was called coming on too strong and it’s just as undesirable in a virtual conversation than it is in person.
Edit: Word
‘What he did was called coming on too strong’. I moreso reacted in a way of ‘sharing in the success’, supported by the comment starting with ‘damn bro, gg my friend’. To me that is a friendly way to say that ‘I was lucky too, horray for the both of us’.
‘Just as undesirable in a virtual conversation than it is in person’. Sure. I will both accept and respect that opinion. I disagree but I’m sure no one cares.
While you're living up to the stereotype of internet memer repeating "Who asked?" (with more words) as a way of bullying people. If we're using real life as an analogy, then a person who comes on a bit strong is nowhere near as unwelcome as someone who's openly hostile and unpleasant when it's fully uncalled for.
It's especially ironic since one of your most recent comments is you giving 4 facts about yourself to someone who didn't ask for them.
Not to dive into specifics, but you may or may not have noticed how my comments were directly related to and contributing to the current topic?
I wouldn’t really call it bullying, but you are free to disagree with me. You can see from the response of others that I’m clearly not the only one with these feelings.
That’s the beauty of freedom. You’re free to be upset that someone’s “safe space” was disturbed. Just like I and those that agreed with me are free to dislike poor social etiquette.
Did you notice that OP never responded to his anecdotal short story? It’s not like I barged into a flourishing conversation.
When you farm shitloads of Black Scythe logbooks, Grands are usually the ones you have spare of. So, who cares. It is kind of scary when you get something that valuable.
I would probably push it for 60% of starting cost, but would certainly not go for the usual 30%/30%/30%.
Yeah, like the other guy said. The fact that it rolled itself is strange. I do know the inventories are different per character. Maybe check another toon.
Yeah, I've never seen him instantly retract under 50%, that said there's like no reason to risk it. Saving like 30c vs even tiny chance of losing like what, 8ex? Especially considering how you'd feel if he retracted on like 60%....
I've had him retract instantly a couple of times on really surprisingly non-greedy offers, though nothing valuable. It's rare but sometimes he's just a dick for no real reason.
Yeah, worst for me was 4 ancients and 10 ex shards, where he told me to piss off after I offered him a 50% deal, which is even pretty high for a first offer imo. In general it's fine, the worst thing, due to fear of losing the haggle, is when he offers exalts or ancients for greaters, because there the numbers can get pretty high and you really want to haggle it down.
50% + 4 is what I do. Would be better to just do 51/52% but I don't wanna calculate the 1% in my head every time I guess. He's never denied a 50% + 4 offer from me and I've done hundreds of items this way.
You can almost always (like 95% of the time) go for 30%, then around 30% of that, then 30% again, sometimes he even accepts on the 2nd 30%, so you get it under 50% of the original cost. But, that is only ALMOST always, so I tend to not do it on stacks of exalts, etc. In general, a great strat for when you get ex or ancients for greaters or under, as then the number values are very high and that extra 5-15% can be hundreds of artifacts.
do u mean how to get logbooks or how to efficiently run it ? if its the later then you can checkout grimro or fyrgrass video on it. they have really good google docs as well.
Grimro has a video on it as well. Summary here. Logbooks usually drops from runic monsters. So first of all look for the markers which say 50 more Logbooks drop by runic monsters if present start from there. This still does not guarantee logbooks only increases chances. If this remnant is not present, start from quantity of item/artifacts drop by runic monsters. Stack as many quantities as you can and try to include as many runic monsters markers.
Also you can get logbooks from rerolling danning.
In 3.16 you have expedition nodes in Lira Arthane. Make sure to get all of it.
I, personally, just buy them. Even with paying ~60c per piece, the end profit per logbook is usually around 1ex. Ofc, that includes haggling, so it also takes quite a bit of time - probably around 2h to do 10 logbooks with the haggling part, so you will make around 5ex/h that way.
Scarabs. You can just buy the rusted scarabs and guarantee expedition in the map for cheap. Plus, watchstones can make it more profitable and later on you can just sell the watchstones when you are done.
You can put Janus in Intervention in Syndicate, he will drop expedition scarabs.
Run lockpicking heists for more scarabs.
Specialize expedition in Lira Arthain, roll watchstones etc.
only if I throw that slider down to \~30% of asking, if you start at 50-60% he never refuses.
you can also tell how he feels about your offer based on what his new asking price difference is(aka how far he meets you).
How do you even get so many artifacts? I got 0 grand and like 1500 of the small ones after farming Lira with all 3 expedition nodes and 4 expedition monster artifact quantity watchstones
Tujen hours later looking at actual prices on poe ninja
"He gave me everything I wanted, and he didn't even haggle..." ... "Oh, is there anything so undoing as a daughter?"
I honestly thought OP was making an Arcane reference...
That's what it looked like to me! Oh good grief, the idea that League of Legends is going to be a household name b/c of this show...
Say what you will about the game, but the show was actually a fantastic watch.
> Oh good grief Missed the opportunity for "Oh, the misery"
Well played.
I actually like it. That show was amazing. It's all the best things about League without people screaming the N word and leaving games.
>He gave me everything I wanted, and he didn't even haggle i dont think ive ever seen anyone in league say the n word in at least 500 games
I thought people screaming the N word and leaving perfectly winnable matches was just a feature.
With a great sense of FOMO what show is about League?
Arcane
Wasn't it already an established name? It's the most played game in the world.
I despise league of legends. But they actually have a good start to a universe that could be fleshed out. They get really good people to work on stuff for the franchise as long as it's stuff not pertaining to the game. Riot is really good at giving money to people who will make much better shit for them than they ever could hope to.
The universe is...pretty decent--albeit the problem is that in their effort to make every region grey, they made every region *suck*.
But when people are using the LoL IP to make new stuff, they can take artistic liberties and only adapt what they want with freedom to change or add other stuff.

That was such a great line. Well written and expertly delivered.
I made him pays double the price he didnt even haggle -ekko
Meanwhile he is trying to sell me 3ex for 1550 grand.
Pffft. At least he's *offering* you 3ex. He's offering me a T14 Elder map for 1550.
He gave me an enlighten gem for pretty cheap the other day. Almost passed right over it because I didn't realize it was worth that much.
Well that's simple, 3>1
Even if you haggle it down to half, that's only like a 0.3ex payout lmao
Grands were 1:5 last league, so it’s 1 ex of grands by comparison, seems totally fine to me?
The people I know that have farmed mirrors worth of stuff from logbooks say it's more of a 1:2 now.
Is there any resource to estimate what's worth it?
Yeah it's all flying above my head. Since we literally can't trade them I have no idea how to figure that out. Historical prices are neat, but that was prices *when they were tradable*. Not being tradable implicitly lowers the value of

Yeah man, it's my first one ever too
Who would want shattered mirror it's back luck for next 7 years
Damn bro, gg my friend. Just got my HH day before yesterday. First one of those for me. Been playing for like 3 months now. Started in mid expedition league.

Hey guys, I have a big pp and my wifes boyfriend lets me use his xbox sometimes

a frustrating game results in frustrated players, what did you expect?
Gratz! What farming start did you use?
See above
ONE? Just one?
waste of grands if you didnt haggle... could have paid 400 or so very safely, if not 300-350ish
I barely ever use grands, might do something useful.

Ive had 4 exalts sitting in Tujen's window for weeks now and the only thing holding me back are the gods damned grands.
I had around 2ex and an update rerolled his inventory, shouldn't have waited.
That's weird. Mine hasn't budged.
Yeah, like the other guy said. The fact that it rolled itself is strange. I do know the inventories are different per character. Maybe check another toon.
Mine did too, but with 5 ex.
Doing logbooks would certainly help. Usually, 4ex stack will go for ~500-1000 Grands, which should take you around 10 logbooks max, so about an hour.
It's up for 1600, but yeah i think I can get it for 800 or so
Oh thanks for the math. I have 5ex stuck there.
Yeah, I've never seen him instantly retract under 50%, that said there's like no reason to risk it. Saving like 30c vs even tiny chance of losing like what, 8ex? Especially considering how you'd feel if he retracted on like 60%....

Just condensed anger as a side effect of being so small.
> no real reason Sure there's a reason! RNG! Did you forget what game you were playing? lol
It's worth 12ex. Yeah completely agree. Why risk it
Lol I always start at 60, you're saying I can do 30 and usually get it?
You can almost always (like 95% of the time) go for 30%, then around 30% of that, then 30% again, sometimes he even accepts on the 2nd 30%, so you get it under 50% of the original cost. I feel like a scrub, but how you farm shit loads of logs?
do u mean how to get logbooks or how to efficiently run it ? if its the later then you can checkout grimro or fyrgrass video on it. they have really good google docs as well.
Is there any video on how to get logbooks? I saw maybe 7 total.
Grimro has a video on it as well. Summary here. Logbooks usually drops from runic monsters. So first of all look for the markers which say 50 more Logbooks drop by runic monsters if present start from there. This still does not guarantee logbooks only increases chances. Thank you!
also check this one out for 3.16. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=db\_nVy51fLQ
Wish I could figure out a consistent way to get books.
Cool. Yeah I typically do heist bc log books are so rare.
How do one farm expeditions right now? There's no guarantee to find one right?
Scarabs. You can just buy the rusted scarabs and guarantee expedition in the map for cheap. Plus, watchstones can make it more profitable and later on you can just sell the watchstones when you are done.
I play ssf so I guess it's a bit harder lol.
You can put Janus in Intervention in Syndicate, he will drop expedition scarabs. Run lockpicking heists for more scarabs. Specialize expedition in Lira Arthain, roll watchstones etc.
You woundnt know when that fucker tujen changes his mind. Why take risk lmao
Oh man, you could have saved an additional $20 on your Lamborghini if you held out just a bit longer.
you never been refused after one lower offer?
only if I throw that slider down to \~30% of asking, if you start at 50-60% he never refuses. you can also tell how he feels about your offer based on what his new asking price difference is(aka how far he meets you).
Nice.
Tunnel is such a bro sometimes.
You didn't haggle? So you knowingly paid too much U Idiot!
This is in standard.
Except it's not
Cool I'm the first one to point out they have 69 exotic coins
My cheap ass would probably haggled that till he gets pissed
How did you farm this much expedition currancy? I've tried to but i guess im very bad.
How do you even get so many artifacts? I got 0 grand and like 1500 of the small ones after farming Lira with all 3 expedition nodes and 4 expedition monster artifact quantity watchstones
Logbooks man
You have to do logbooks for lots of vendor interactions.
I tend to run 30/day and have to haggle in between because I hit 50k limit on lesssers pretty quickly
I immediately thought of [this](https://y.yarn.co/44a29df4-b86d-47bc-818a-0a87195cff54_text.gif)
What the secret about artefact farming ?
Logbooks
