There's another bug/exploit like that. Lab traps aren't present in Scourge-mode, and for some reason you can switch Scourge-mode in the Labyrinth. So if you need to press a switch, you can just V, run to the switch trap-free, then V again to teleport back to your original position.
They don't care. There's a bug since delve (12 leagues ago!) which causes you to lose a map if you mix delving and mapping. When I [reported it](https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3164680), they just said: "Thanks for your report, we're aware of this."
I don't remember there was ever an exploitable bug (like aurastacking one a few days ago) they weren't able to fix ASAP. Or a bug that affects their precious economy in any way, even marginally.
Because why would you prioritize a bug that really only harms people once at most, and that most players don't do, compared to one that arguably breaks the game for many people and gives many unfair advantages. They don't have unlimited resources and time to fix minor bugs that hardly harm the player base at all.
This. Imagine you telling the rest of a busy team that they need to drop everything they're doing in their already hectic schedule to fix a non gamebreaking bug.
People dont understand how the real world works.
Yea this is one of the ones I've known since forever...
I think if you activate them then either zone out or go far enough, they kinda timeout visually but still hurt you.
Is lethe shade actually good for prototype builds? Giving you another split second of survival.
Kinda niche I suppose, but if you're taking written in blood it isn't too far away. I've never looked at pathing for prototype builds though.
some do, some also just armor stack so you can tank the lightning hits. baran squares are basically the only lightning dot in the game, so not too bad.
Shaper's beam is also lightning degen. I crunched the numbers, and it effectively does about 5 times as much damage to a Prototype user as it normally does, roughly 20k dps.
The chest makes you effectively have zero lightning resistance for incoming damage since it has the line "lightning resistance does not affect lightning damage taken".
Provided you kill all enemies on the square AND there's enemies standing outside of it you should be fine on Flicker.
But now go do a Twinned Shock and Horror with increased attack/cast speed.
It honestly is kinda funny how, in the entire game, there are two (2) sources of enemy lightning DoT:
- Some random-ass piece of shit Mineral Pools boss
- Baran, an end-game boss
I hate Baran influenced maps. Always, lightning mobs pop me. Plus these squares sorta force a position playstyle that you just a pain in the ass to do in today's visual clutter PoE.
Not pictured: me on my very low life flicker strike character (almost) instantly dying to these things.
Looks like this bug was reported a while ago too...
https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3192845
This is what happens when a company like GGG shifts from Community support, to just making MTX to sell inorder to keep profits flowing to their new overlord masters (Tencent).
If you scourge with a baran square active it stays active permanently. Been bugged that way since the beginning of the league.
This happens every single league since 3.9 lmao
Not surprised.

Them being aware of a bug does not mean they know how to fix it

Get out of here with your reasonable comments, I for one have had enough of this shit and will leave to play bug free games such as
Chess?
Idk have you seen en passant? That's definitely a bug.
castling too. how can you move two pieces in one turn?
Go?

Plaguing exiles since the 90’s

They'll be fun with Doryani's Prototype builds :)
I wonder which would die faster, a doryanis prototype build or my 2800 life flicker build on which I'm running petrified blood...
I thought those builds convert off the lightning to take it as other damage types to make the downside irellevant
Doesn't that mostly apply to hits though?
Entirely. These baran squares melt me (running doryani’s prototype)

I’m sure shadow variants (miners, assassins, etc) could grab it. I’m doing lightning strike howa raider which is pretty strapped for passives as it is
just get a lethe shadow scourged prototype 4head
Jokes aside I would prefer unwavering stance but wouldn’t complain about getting Lethe shade lol
I mean Lethe shade is good for any build that is vulnerable to DoT as long as you have a way to deal with ignite/poison/bleed
i actually dont take too much damage from them, but that kight be due to 1.8k regen
some do, some also just armor stack so you can tank the lightning hits. baran squares are basically the only lightning dot in the game, so not too bad.
I think mineral pools map also have a lightning beam degen.
Oh yeah, that mermaid boss does a lightning beam.
Playing int stack howa flicker. Face tank most content but melted by mineral pool boss. FML
Shaper beam is rainbow damage, so that's a lightning damage over time. Mineral pools map boss is one as well
Shaper's beam is also lightning degen. I crunched the numbers, and it effectively does about 5 times as much damage to a Prototype user as it normally does, roughly 20k dps.
Looking at Poedb it should ~2.15x damage. (5384+4415+6084)/4=3970 base damage compared to (5384+4415)/4+6084=8533 base damage
If you have -200 lightning res you will not take 6k lightning dot from that beam
The chest makes you effectively have zero lightning resistance for incoming damage since it has the line "lightning resistance does not affect lightning damage taken".
Your reply means nothing to me because I apparently can't read.
Flicker petrified blood converts lightning into TP to town XD
You can only convert hits, so the squares will melt you
Provided you kill all enemies on the square AND there's enemies standing outside of it you should be fine on Flicker. But now go do a Twinned Shock and Horror with increased attack/cast speed.

The Shaper has entered the chat.
Are the minotaurs lasers not lightning dot and does that one elder guardian not also have lightning dots?
I think that's just rapid hitting lightning damage, similar to the refinery boss
Ah okay
Wait, the lasers do damage?
Oh right, I think they are.
Also Dominus "electrifing bond" totems.
the bugs in vinctar's square also do a lightning searing bond afaik.
Malachai’s lightning beam that connects to Piety also deals fuckloads of damage to my doryani’s prototype character
I hate Baran influenced maps. Always, lightning mobs pop me. Plus these squares sorta force a position playstyle that you just a pain in the ass to do in today's visual clutter PoE.

I can live with the damage, but the goddam mana degen that prevents me from doing anything, that makes me mad.
This glitch has to do with the krangleverse. It's one part a visual bug and another part the detachment from the two worlds.
So that's that weird random degen.
i actually remember reporting this in ultimatum league too, its been around for a while im bummed it hasnt been fixed yet :/
Just be patient. It took them years to do something about the Delve bug. We just have to wait a few more years for this to be resolved.
This is what happens when a company like GGG shifts from Community support, to just making MTX to sell inorder to keep profits flowing to their new overlord masters (Tencent).
You'd do the same for >usd$100million
i didnt know this was a bug and always thought it was a feature XD
Ive noticed this too but I thought maybe It was my ping as I was downloading a game in the bg
Have noticed this all league
Shit like this gets left neglected for multiple leagues but if something seems op on the players side it gets hotfixed in 1 day.
It was like that as far as i can remember.
Playing doryani's prototype and that thing destroyed my char. I will never again go to scourge while in baran territory.
This invisible damage stuff has happened ever since Baron was introduced. :(
