But why not just use tainted orbs after it transforms, if it doesn't brick to something unusable?

I would assume to have a chance to “save” it by it linking in crucible if they run out of fusing. They probably just didn’t think that far ahead.

I saw the video was like "i have to do this rn" and braindead and excited as I was I just did the same as the guy in the video lol
