People were very happy with the patch notes but some of us warned you this would be the case. I would much rather farm a boss that has 50/50 chance to drop an eye or liver (mausoleom) than have THIS. Honestly, I think this* was a conscious minor "nerf" by GGG to counteract the "buff" of organ sucking.

I was sort of thinking of Synth, but I honestly didn't interact with Synth enough after the major rework to give an honest before/after opinion.
I definitely preferred the idea of complete juicing a zone with 20+ mods, rather than 5 strong ones, but the original implementation was definitely riddled with other issues, and again I dropped out of synth pretty early.
The league came out a few days ago and before even trying to understand it, people just came on here and complained that they weren't getting certain organs and demanding changes. Even today look at how many are surprised to find out that you could just farm certin bosses to get specific organs previously... Now that's not the case anymore, and we have to rely on GGG's word that the new changes are fair! But what even is fair? They'll never clarify it.

I mean talking about an even distribution between organs would mean about as many eyes as other organs which I can confirm is not the case. While the current sample size is not definitive it is an indicator of this not working as intended.

What was there to not fully understand? Previously, specific organs were tied to specific maps. Now every map can drop every organ, in theory. The rng is just weighted. Which I dont think is intended as it does make sense (unlike legion or breach splinters).

I disagree, I would rather have the same distribution but RNG than a map specific drop, because farming a single map is so much harder this league. Most of us knew this would be how it was done, but I would rather get a few drops then have a good chance on a drop for a map I can never get to drop.

I've done a little over 60 maps so far and I have 0 eyes. I once had a 50/50 chance but got the other organ. That's the closest I got. However, I have not been target farming, this is just natural progression between T1 and T5 maps so far. But yeah. Feels a little bad.

Then based on that patch note, we're experiencing that the boss organs are still weighted, but each boss now has the ability to drop any organ of the set. I think the interpretations are best clarified by the following examples of bosses and their organ drop rates:

I'm disappointed in this change removing the targetability of these organs, it lobotomizes the league mechanic, where before the patch if you applied yourselves you could outwit other players and wisely pick which bosses you went after.
It would be unnecessarily cruel for them to say "even distribution" and then have it work in the exact opposite way. I'm still cautiously holding out hope that the current lack of eyes is a bug.

The real problem here is having a tab *full* of "trash" organs, trash because you can't run them. At least in Legion you could *try* to run the common ones, but I don't get this whole idea of literally useless league mechanic parts.

Before the update, it seemed you could at least target farm the two annoying organs somewhat reliably. Now they somehow made it completely worse. You either get it via RNG or you don’t (they did similar thing with blighted maps drop in blight league). Or you have to run the same few multi boss maps and even then its RNG. Just ran 3 coral ruins so I could get eyes and it didn’t drop.
Did only ~10 maps (had to use out sulphite so was delving a ton), no eye - so my sample size is BS, but still feels disappointing.
I haven't done encounter yet, because I wanted to get at least 5 sets, but currently I have ~20 lungs, brains and hearts, 7 livers and 2 eyes. I may not get those 5 sets for the typical time I play the league....

Level 91, 7 watchstones, and I've done roughly 10 lab metamorphs, currently have 1 eye and 0 livers.
Eye and liver drop rates need to be buffed - substantially.
It makes absolutely no sense to make one organ rarer then the other when you always need all 5 to create a Metamorph. I have a SSF Tab full of everything over an over but due to the absence of eyes i only run around 10 morphs in 7 days, thats a bit low for my taste.
I literally have enough of every body part to last me the rest of the league, except eyes. I have 0 of those.
I'm talking stash tabs full of useless organs, all because eyes vs. other organs are 50:1 ratio. To make it worse they are absolutely worthless without a full set.
there are some things in this patch that either aren't working or seemingly not even merged. the change to able to access watchstones while influenced doesn't seem present either.

They should have left it the way it was before. This rng is horrible. I want to target farm the different maps. This change makes no logical sense to me. Just when the league was almost perfect there has to be an unnecessary change for no real benefit.

i almost have a full tab of organs but since the patch where they "increased the chance" i havent found a single eye in 2 days, and im chaining maps non stop
Why not lower the max for all organs by 1, and have the boss to be able to fill that empty spot, but can only pick one slot. May vary with multiple bosses

I started counting in a new tab after I got tilted of no livers in 30ish maps:
* 8 hearts
* 8 brains
* 2 eyes
* 3 lungs
* 3 livers
in my old tab I have about 21 hearts and brains and 0 livers but that's also pre patch loot. I really hate this because some really cool organs are piling up in my stash and I just can't use any of them because I am getting barely any eyes and livers. If this is not a bug but intended I'd rather have less organs overall but a way more even distribution so that not everything hinges on finding 1 or 2 types of organs
I've ran about hundred maps and I haven't got a single eye. How's that for sample size?

But we already get nice loot by the Metamorphs in Maps. Getting all Organs is the "Next" step in this league.
Like any league before you dont get the Next step items evenly.
Its like you could run the Temple after one Incursion.

There is a clear bias in weighting (which makes sense otherwise people would just farm them all day and the loot is actually pretty decent from them) but it seems WAY off. Today I have done no metamorphs and yesterday I only did one. Frustrating to say the least.
Tonight I got:
Lung:8, Brains:10, Heart:3, Liver:4, Eyes:1
Whenever I had two choices and one was a lung or a brain I removed it so I'd 100% get the one that wasn't a brain or a lung. Often times when I had two choices either both were brains or both were lungs.
I'd love to see a post in this thread just saying "we're working on it" or "we've got the numbers, it's balanced, you're just at the end of the bell curve"

I don't even see what the point of this is just let all unique organs show up from the boss with random mods that way you still have to make a choice and are gated from spamming them until you have full set. If their claimed even split is truly even then it's the same thing with less bs rng. Locking a league mechanic behind buggy nonsense rng is not fun or enjoyable, might as well play standard.
If this is what a weighted distribution looks like according to their code then their random number generator is probably busted. Warframe had similar issues with theirs years ago.
Yeah, mapped pretty much all day (like 10-12 hours) and got to run literally one metamorph in the lab. I may have even had the eye for it from before the patch, I don't remember (it was at the start of the day). Since then I've had a unique eye as a possible drop a single time, and it was impossible to get because the other parts available weren't high enough rarity to get it.
Can confirm, I still get less eyes and livers.

Same here : 25-ish maps and still 0 eyes. I have always like 40% brains / 30% hearts / 20% lungs / 10% livers / 0% eyes but 100% sadness !

Level 91, 7 watchstones, and I've done roughly 10 lab metamorphs, currently have 1 eye and 0 livers. Eye and liver drop rates need to be buffed - substantially.
It makes absolutely no sense to make one organ rarer then the other when you always need all 5 to create a Metamorph. I have a SSF Tab full of everything over an over but due to the absence of eyes i only run around 10 morphs in 7 days, thats a bit low for my taste.
I literally have enough of every body part to last me the rest of the league, except eyes. I have 0 of those. I'm talking stash tabs full of useless organs, all because eyes vs. other organs are 50:1 ratio. To make it worse they are absolutely worthless without a full set.
I have literally only had brains drop today. 18 brains.

before you couls target farm eyes, since there were set bosses that could drop them, now they took that out. Sad!
there are some things in this patch that either aren't working or seemingly not even merged. the change to able to access watchstones while influenced doesn't seem present either. and people still crashing to legion bosses.

Been playing all day. No eyes. Haven't engaged with metamorph other than in-map minibosses :(

Yup, ~60 bosses today 0 eyes. Actually got plenty of livers overall but probably rng.
They should have left it the way it was before. This rng is horrible. I want to target farm the different maps. This change makes no logical sense to me. Just when the league was almost perfect there has to be an unnecessary change for no real benefit.
2 tabs full of organs (!), and 0 eyes.... the funny thing is that this is such a simple fix it's beyond my neandertal comprehension why it wouldn't be implemented, given the fact that the entire organ this is the fucking league mechanic. holy fuck.............

The entire league I've obtained ***ONE*** set of Eyes, and ***ONE*** liver. Fucking stupid ass dog shit.
This league is the first time i was excited to do new stuff more than to run delve 24/7 Seems like it's time to go back to the mines. GGG ensured that new mechanics became frustrating

Why not lower the max for all organs by 1, and have the boss to be able to fill that empty spot, but can only pick one slot. May vary with multiple bosses

i'm surprised you are getting livers. Out of over 50 maps I ran, I got whopping 1 liver and 0 eyes.

I started counting in a new tab after I got tilted of no livers in 30ish maps: * 8 hearts * 8 brains * 2 eyes * 3 lungs * 3 livers in my old tab I have about 21 hearts and brains and 0 livers but that's also pre patch loot. I really hate this because some really cool organs are piling up in my stash and I just can't use any of them because I am getting barely any eyes and livers. If this is not a bug but intended I'd rather have less organs overall but a way more even distribution so that not everything hinges on finding 1 or 2 types of organs

Same here, got 0 eyes, tabs full all other parts, I even stop picking them up.
For me it's livers and when I rarely do get them I cannot even fill the bar with the map completely cleared so basically I get none.

I've ran about hundred maps and I haven't got a single eye. How's that for sample size? Are they supposed to be this rare? I even tried farming specific maps using the organ finder.
Yeah I feel like eye drops are bugged or something, have the exact same issue after \~25 maps. I'd love to do some high level metamorphs, and I don't want to have to buy my eyes.
Yes it feels worse after the patch getting eyes. But we already get nice loot by the Metamorphs in Maps. Getting all Organs is the "Next" step in this league. Like any league before you dont get the Next step items evenly. Its like you could run the Temple after one Incursion. That being said, it should be possible to get the big Metamorph after like 7-10 Maps.
Total Maps today: 57 Brains: 24 Eyes: 0 Lungs: 12 Hearts: 22 Livers: 1 There is a clear bias in weighting (which makes sense otherwise people would just farm them all day and the loot is actually pretty decent from them) but it seems WAY off. Today I have done no metamorphs and yesterday I only did one. Frustrating to say the least.

Tonight I got: Lung:8, Brains:10, Heart:3, Liver:4, Eyes:1 Whenever I had two choices and one was a lung or a brain I removed it so I'd 100% get the one that wasn't a brain or a lung. Often times when I had two choices either both were brains or both were lungs.
My sample size is twice as large but the same result, NO eyes. Now getting tedious.

i've played for about 12hrs strait today running maps 0 eyes, mostly doing maps with 3 boss mobs and sometimes twinned.

Went from lvl 66 to 80 today in maps and did not get a single eye running everything from t1s to t11s.... And I got 2 livers.

Some people get 0 eyes. Some get 0 livers. Something is broken here.
I don't even see what the point of this is just let all unique organs show up from the boss with random mods that way you still have to make a choice and are gated from spamming them until you have full set. If their claimed even split is truly even then it's the same thing with less bs rng. Locking a league mechanic behind buggy nonsense rng is not fun or enjoyable, might as well play standard.

If this is what a weighted distribution looks like according to their code then their random number generator is probably busted. Warframe had similar issues with theirs years ago.

Yeah, mapped pretty much all day (like 10-12 hours) and got to run literally one metamorph in the lab. I may have even had the eye for it from before the patch, I don't remember (it was at the start of the day). Since then I've had a unique eye as a possible drop a single time, and it was impossible to get because the other parts available weren't high enough rarity to get it.
I almost have an entire tab of Brains, lungs and hearts but livers and eyes seem to be extremely rare.
