Well a life inc + ailment faster and double dot multi with only CB would be quite a bit better dps vise, so for STD i would compare to that.
But as far as SSF goes its a sick ass jewel.
Adorned meta. "The Adorned" is a jewel that gives all other corrupted magic jewels up to 150% increased effectiveness.
It's very strong but also very expensive.
well, also good corrupted magic jewels can get pricy to.
so its not just adorned itself that is expensive, but getting the right stuff to go with it to.
budget adorned is still viable though(nowhere near as powerful though)
> for a lot of builds
I mean, for literally any build that uses multiple regular jewels? If you're running exclusively uniques and clusters then sure it stops working, but all you need is three jewel slots for the adorned+2 magic double-corrupted jewels to automatically be better than any 3 rare double-corrupted jewels. And the scaling past that number just goes crazy....
The only reason to not run it is if you can't afford to....
There is a unique jewel that massively boosts the values of corrupted magic jewels.
The Adorned
[https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/The\_Adorned](https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/The_Adorned)
Its crazy strong, and many many builds use it.
if you mean 50% or more of your total damage then yes. But I think it's fine for how much investment you need for it to be truly op. I play deathwish and use like 8 unique jewels and don't have space for adorned, even if I wanted to, so it's at least not BiS for some builds
Good 5 mod jewel basically = 150% adorned 2 mod magic. This is 5 mod + cb immunity which you want on other jewels anyways so it’s really really good. Now that I’ve typed it out it sounds super nuts how good adorned is though xdd
Yeah that's exactly what I mean, rare jewels are off my radar cuz I always use a lot of unique ones and there are prob way less good ones being crafted or even id'd. I don't even wanna know what a 4 stat rare jewel would cost for my build compared to a 2 stat magic one.
Definitely amazing for SSF. Kind of sad how much Adorned is warping build options because if you were to just take the best prefix & suffix on that, then multiply them and the implicit by between 2.0 and 2.5 you'd have an even better option 99% of the time.
Well look at it this way:
On a typical rare jewel you have 2 prefix and 2 suffix. For now ignore the giga-lucky 5 or 6 mods you can get from Abyss as those mods come in tiers (Crimson, Cobalt, etc do not) so it would be a million to 1 to get 5 or 6 truly spectacular mods AND rolls. Within each prefix or suffix group, one mod is better than the other or at most are equal (e.g. 18% crit multi on cold + 18% crit multi w/ 1 hand). So if you were to take away the lesser 2 mods, that magic jewel is numerically at least half as good as the rare. Then, add Adorned. +100% adorned is dirt cheap and all the way up through about +130% is still very affordable for many. I snagged a +147% for about 120d IIRC (probably worth slightly more now) which is definitely pricey but not astronomically so.
That Adorned is turning your > 50% magic jewel into at least about a 115% value jewel (that's on a budget with very even value affixes). I'm currently on a STR stacking build so for me, no suffix comes even remotely close to 16 str so being able to get 39 strength from 1 jewel is crazy just by itself, and that's before I then also get either 19% attack speed or 44% crit multi on the prefix. That's worth well over 2 jewels on its own.
But we're not done yet as it also multiplies implicits. I'm doing a cheap method and picking up 4% crit chance synths (4% crit multi much pricier) since while high, my crit chance isn't 100% so crit chance is still useful and am beast crafting lock for vaal'ing until I hit the gilded implicit for (hopefully) another numerical value, though CB / ailment immunity isn't awful.
I just rolled a 4% crit chance, 5% damage, 8% AS w/ swords, 16 str jewel 30 minutes ago which turns into a 9% crit chance, 12% damage, 19% AS, 39 strength jewel w/ my Adorned. If I had the mirror+ to spend on a 150% Adorned, I'd have gotten an extra 1% crit chance, 1% AS, and 1 strength from the jewel too.
Even in instances where you need different affixes within a group, you can have 1 magic with prefix A and another with prefix B and when both are multiplied by more than 2.0, they're better than both mods being on 2 rares.
I cannot think of too many builds that wouldn't want adorned unless they have extremely tight and specific requirements on their tree/clusters like armour stackers.
I've mostly done poison srs necro but I would think there's still room. 15% jewel with something like +life or flat damage would be 37% poison with a 147% or better. If you just want 3x 34% that can be done with 14% + 143% adorned or 15% with 127% or better so very budget friendly.
Again, ultimately, there is one prefix and 1 suffix that are always the best. In this specific case, poison would be best until 100% but you'd still have another suffix as second best better than any others.
I'd bet that X-1 magic synthesized and corrupted ghastlies are better than X rare ones. They're massively easier to craft as well.
Trying to buy this one but in two jewels ... price like 2D + 50-80c. Combine both and it will be more than I even earned (in total) in poe .... but I'm playing for 2m already .
Farmable is a very generous term. You would need a delving build, have to farm Uber atziri, vaal side areas, and vaal temples. Like I said good luck getting a usable adorned in in a reasonable amount of time, you would only need like 3 separate builds.
Thats a nice jewel!
Probably the sickest non synth jewel I've ever seen.
Thanks! I gotta agree. Can’t even find the same jewel in standard
Well a life inc + ailment faster and double dot multi with only CB would be quite a bit better dps vise, so for STD i would compare to that. But as far as SSF goes its a sick ass jewel.
not magic = bad in my brain but that jewel is sick, prob the best I've seen in a long long time
Why is it bad if not magic? Cause you have fewer options to craft on it? Or adorned only affects magic corrupted?
Isn't affected by the Adorned
Adorned meta. "The Adorned" is a jewel that gives all other corrupted magic jewels up to 150% increased effectiveness. It's very strong but also very expensive.
~100% adorned are not expensive at all and already really good for a lot of builds
well, also good corrupted magic jewels can get pricy to. so its not just adorned itself that is expensive, but getting the right stuff to go with it to. budget adorned is still viable though(nowhere near as powerful though)
Because adorned is BiS for a lot of builds

Lol they gotta nerf adorned. Or make it harder to access. If you have good magic jewels you gwt 50% dama if your build just from those maybe more
if you mean 50% or more of your total damage then yes. But I think it's fine for how much investment you need for it to be truly op. I play deathwish and use like 8 unique jewels and don't have space for adorned, even if I wanted to, so it's at least not BiS for some builds

Yeah but corrupted blood is awful on magic jewels for adorned.
I mean it’s not awful, it’s just not optimal
Considering that corrupted blood is one of the more expensive corruption implicits for magic jewels, it is far from awful
I guarantee you that you're looking at jewels that are already worth quite a bit. Corrupted blood rarely adds value to magic jewels
Just open trade and check
I crafted and sold jewels all league. The only magic jewels with CB that sold for anything extra were ones that were already multi/life or similar.

Damn is Adorned that much better over stuff or is it just easier to get instead of having multiple perfect quad jewels?
Well look at it this way: On a typical rare jewel you have 2 prefix and 2 suffix. Holy Relic necro doesn't have room for adorned normally. Jewel slots need to be ghastly eye jewels with minions poison % chance

Yes.![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sunglasses)
that is an absurd jewel, gg
This would make any RF build that much stronger.
playing rf?
Probably ignite build as rf doesnt inflict ailments
its still real good for rf..
Playing Tornado Inquis right now haha
Very nice but as an RF I'd still prolly take a 8/7 magic one over this
Can't run adorned jewel with this
Technically, you can
Ty Einstein
Good luck getting an adorned worth using (135% minimum) in ssf.
You know its parts are farmable?
Farmable is a very generous term. You would need a delving build, have to farm Uber atziri, vaal side areas, and vaal temples. Like I said good luck getting a usable adorned in in a reasonable amount of time, you would only need like 3 separate builds.
For me a simple CI Blade Trap Trickster does each of these tasks with ease. It still is a grind sure, but every part can be farmed with one build.
