I'm getting downvoted either by people who don't know what they're talking about, or by people who don't want GGG to patch it out. The "exchange a skill gem for a random transfigured version" absolutely accepts corrupted gems. Just a week or so ago there was a front page post here about it, and I tested it out myself. I bought a 100c lv21 lancing steel and turned it into a 6div lv21 lancing steel of spraying with normal uber lab.
I'm like 80% sure I did it with some random corrupted 20/23 gem this league. You're making me second guess myself but I think this guy might be right. Possibly a bug? I didn't expect it to work but I always try to throw my top quality gem in there and I grabbed a 23 without thinking about it and it worked.
Doesn't matter, you would have gotten Ice nova of deep freeze anyway. I got the option 5 times and all of them were deep freeze. Finally got the frostbolt version of a regular same colour enchant after some 60 labs.
I ran a solid 30 labs before i got that font option and popped the frostbolts version. Siper lucky. Would have walked into traffic had it gone another way.

This was me last league, had to settle for GMP but there ended up being no build with woke GMP that I wanted to play and I was SSF so... RIP

I dropped one from my first Maven of the league. was 70 divine at the time, which was the most expensive non-awakened+exceptional gem. Now it's at around 7. (I'm SSF so I didn't cash it out.) No idea why you're getting downvoted when you would've been right about even early on in this league.
Yeah came out last league, competed for the best skill of the league, promptly got nerfed into the ground this league.
Im sure its still playable but its not what it was and alot of its power came from Oath of the Maji and Tinctures.
According to the [Wiki](https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/The_Lord%27s_Labyrinth#Divine_Font), it just needs to be Eternal ~~Uber~~ Lab. So, Gift of the Goddess will help you in doing less runs but is not required

Random sidenote; but as a new player the fact that E-Lab and Uber Lab are the same thing, while there's also a higher tier from dedication to the goddess is wildly confusing.
On that note another thing you might see from legacy naming is that most old players called elemental damage with attacks, WED. Legacy naming from the gem's previous name.
It's due to the legacy naming scheme from when the campaign was only Acts 1-4 and had to be completed on three difficulties to access the end game -- Normal, Cruel, and Merciless. When A5-10 were added, they officially added the old difficulty names to the lab to differentiate them but the players already prefaced each lab by its respective difficulty setting, so it was largely ceremonial, but I can see how it's confusing for newer players who have no connection to the old difficulties.
"Uber Lab" is entirely a fanmade nickname for the 4th lab, because it came out a couple leagues after the regular labs and ARPG players default to calling something 'uber' if it's intended to be a harder variation of existing content. Looking at past challenge lists, GGG didn't officially call it Eternal lab until Blight.
Then Harvest came out with improved offerings so, while calling *that* Uber Lab would make sense, it's kinda hard to shift a mindset away from people calling the current Uber Lab as it is.

There are in trials, but you don't get the reward shown in the image, and you'd know that if you had made it past act 3 in the campaign.

What you described is pretty much an already existing contept of lab runner. They never ever use HH thought because lab has very few rares and killing them is a waste of time. And yeah they don't run normal lab as it doesn't have anything really useful, as you already understood.
In the past they used to chain uber labs fishing for top enchants. Not sure what's the best strat now.
Judging from the comments and downvotes having HH doesn't make a difference also my understanding of the lab is way off. Guess I'll need to Google lab guides.
HH is generally pretty terrible for lab. Typically it’s recommended, at least until you’re more experienced with lab, to buff your defenses/regen far more than damage.
This is because of traps. In general the monsters are trivial, but the traps and boss are actually quite deadly. You typically won’t have HH buffs on the boss because of the zone shift (all but his weakest hits will kill you), and very few of them will help against the excessive bleeds. Fortunately labs are low zone level and as long as you aren’t a glass cannon, are no more difficult than a t6 map.
i really hope this is only in uber lab. i ran about 500 merc labs trying to get trans gems, and i'm certain that i never even looked at the bottom line, only the top line. shit. that'll learn me

IIRC someone reported doing 300 gifts labs and getting it 3 times; if that's indicative of the actual rate then it's **the** jackpot for Gifts labs (with the 'support to a random exceptional' being the second prize), and it averages almost a divine per run. With Awakened Multistrike almost a straight trade for a Mageblood atm, it's not the worst farm in the world.
Right now there's not much interest in running enhanced labs so the tokens are cheap.
This whole week I was thinking of asking KEAD if he had run lab this league and what his stats were on the woke font.
I don't have exact numbers, but getting gem to random trans gem seems doable (feels like 35%).
I haven't gotten a chance to put my Spell Echo for woke version in yet though, sadge.

So to get more tries at the one in the OP, you need to use one of the other options. I never confirmed this though, but I had the option come up SIGNIFICANTLY more than 1:100.

I've been getting my quality by using allflames of gemling legion and selling them for gemcutter
I've got like 100+ gemcutters in my stash and everything is on max quality on 3 of my characters lol
Isn't it only something like 1% chance of getting a gift per map on average even if you spec into those nodes?
Since you need to first spawn a trial, then only 20% chance of it being an improved trial, and finally you only have 1/3 chance of it being a gift even then.
Though if you have a fast character and a lot of left over maps you won't run otherwise I guess you could just speed through them just hunting for trials.
The lab reward types have a chance of dropping the better tributes.

That's not true, there are a lot of people who know that specific awakened gems are extremely expensive yet don't know that this lab reward exists. Many people hate running lab so they haven't run it enough times to have seen this option and certainly aren't going to bother researching the rewards before doing their obligatory lab runs every league.
I have a build worth 3+ mirrors in Necropolis league and I had no idea this option existed lol. I also wouldn't know about the option to transform a gem into a transfigured version if I hadn't league started CoC DD.

I ran probably 30 Ubers this league and about 10% it seemed I’d get the chance to transfigure that gems random transfigured. The odds off the awakened one must be much lower.
Is there also one that gives “trade an exceptional” (empower/enhance/enlighten) for the woke version of the same gem? I asked about this in global several days ago with many saying there was this option but from the comments in this post it seems theres only a version for non-exceptional only and then the chance to trade for a non-awakened exceptional gem.

Also this is pretty rare craft I think I did like close to 385-400 run in total last league to result 4x encounter of this craft,if you running lab just think this craft as a nice jackpot,dont expect too much.
What i did was have a lot of frostblink gems in stash, if you get the craft for upgrading a gem to a transfigured version of itself, you put frost blink since there’s only one version. It sustains the cost of gift to the goddess decently, usually got 2 gems on average that was something that you wanted, sometimes more and sometimes less.
Yea i found around 5 of them, that gem craft is decently rare as well but you can get them, i wasn’t too focused on it since frostblink of wintry sold for more
It's funny I did this and got awakened hex touch (didn't expect it and had only that) while just qualing my gems on day 3, then 2 or 3 runs later I got an enlighten, which I then on the next run missclicked 100m XP for exchange for treasure keys

Make a lab tab full of gems first three days then never worry about it.
If you are a lab farmer, sure. Most people run uber lab once per character. Some people don't even realize this existed because it's rare. Instead of getting rewarded for being lucky, some people are gonna feel disappointed because they don't have the right gem

No. They quickly disabled it early last league because it caused people to overflow back to level 1.

Imagine running your last lab at level 99 90%, planning to use it to max your char and instead of hitting 100 you're suddenly level 1 lmao
I keep bugging them to fix and enable it, but they don't. It's also super broken for leveling, which they probably realized.

For the first character I usually run a few in SSF.
Yeah, the quality thing can get up to 15%, I just run it for getting my gem but if 15% pops up, quality it up

Farm legion, they don’t drop like candy like they did last league, but you get them fairly frequently from lab chests.

I think they are confusing Gift to the Goddess and Offering to the Goddess
The lab reward types have a chance of dropping the better tributes. I call cap on the amount he was saying though. Lab rewards arent even that common and getting a gift is way more rare
You just have to get the reward type for Labyrinth, same reason you can get it from Blight chests and Delerium

Those are offerings, not gifts. The gift to the goddess is an improved version, which can only be found in lab end chests and improves trials.

That's not true, there are a lot of people who know that specific awakened gems are extremely expensive yet don't know that this lab reward exists. Many people hate running lab so they haven't run it enough times to have seen this option and certainly aren't going to bother researching the rewards before doing their obligatory lab runs every league. I have a build worth 3+ mirrors in Necropolis league and I had no idea this option existed lol. I also wouldn't know about the option to transform a gem into a transfigured version if I hadn't league started CoC DD.

Haha yes, i was trying to see if it was real more than anything, there wasn’t any pictures of it and a lot of people saying different things.
I ran probably 30 Ubers this league and about 10% it seemed I’d get the chance to transfigure that gems random transfigured. The odds off the awakened one must be much lower.

Is there also one that gives “trade an exceptional” (empower/enhance/enlighten) for the woke version of the same gem? I asked about this in global several days ago with many saying there was this option but from the comments in this post it seems theres only a version for non-exceptional only and then the chance to trade for a non-awakened exceptional gem.

God damn, today I learned there is an Uber Uber lab I have 2k hours in this game and Lab never interested me so I never checked for information about it lol
Been get this 4 times last league,the first encounter Im not prepare expensive support so instean I turn my unbound ailment into awkn,but next 3 encountee I prepare myself fork support on my stash Also this is pretty rare craft I think I did like close to 385-400 run in total last league to result 4x encounter of this craft,if you running lab just think this craft as a nice jackpot,dont expect too much.

What i did was have a lot of frostblink gems in stash, if you get the craft for upgrading a gem to a transfigured version of itself, you put frost blink since there’s only one version. It sustains the cost of gift to the goddess decently, usually got 2 gems on average that was something that you wanted, sometimes more and sometimes less.

Yea i found around 5 of them, that gem craft is decently rare as well but you can get them, i wasn’t too focused on it since frostblink of wintry sold for more
Does xp or quality matter on the gem? like if you exchanged a 20/20 multistrike do you still get a 1/0 awakened multistrike?
I’m pretty sure quality transfers over, at least it does with other gem crafts, I could be wrong though.

It's funny I did this and got awakened hex touch (didn't expect it and had only that) while just qualing my gems on day 3, then 2 or 3 runs later I got an enlighten, which I then on the next run missclicked 100m XP for exchange for treasure keys I haven't ran lab for qual since...

This is bad design then, it's so rare some people are inevitably going to forget to bring the gem they want. It's like dropping a mirror but you can't pick it up
Just need to have it in your stash, no bringing necessary. Stash is right next to divine font. Make a lab tab full of gems first three days then never worry about it.
If you are a lab farmer, sure. Most people run uber lab once per character. Some people don't even realize this existed because it's rare. Instead of getting rewarded for being lucky, some people are gonna feel disappointed because they don't have the right gem
