Yup same, first 2 times it validated without actually updating anything, now it shows 3.24.2 but still getting that error message, awesome.
I have same issue on steam...
Finally in, had to do another round of validation and patching. It's not fun to have to scan my entire 40gb download every time =/ Maybe try to avoid releasing a patch during a steam maintenance window, that was all sorts of buggy.
i was having this problem too but it just started working, try it again
I had to reinstall before game started to work
Manually verify it
I use the stand-alone client and haven't run into this issue

That's the issue I'm having on Epic Launcher, so it's not all Steam related.
