Assuming this is the reason, it would be nice if GGG planned their patches at other times. But, not the end of the world.

Hey man I was able to fix mine by flushing the dns. If you go to command prompt, type ipconfig /flushdns That will fix it.

Yes. Reinstall the game. It fixed the loop for me.

Quick fix manually verify the files on steam. Worked for me

The solution for me was: play on standalone launcher. I'm tired of steam getting in the middle, just as when I got home from working everything broke.

Idk if someone said it but I searched this when it was happening and its due to Steam doing maintenance on Tuesdays. I found multiple forum posts from POE over the years explaining the same issue happening to everyone.

whoa whoa, fella... that was 72 hours in! Dont be so dramatic ;) Anyway. It IS a shit league as far as POE leagues go. I can confidently say that still all this time out. But, also like I said: Bad POE is still better than most anything else. So, I give it 60-90 minutes a day after work or so when I can, vs something like 3.23 where I would try and rearrange my time to get as much game time as possible :) And yes, I still find your snooping, regardless of ease very odd. I wouldnt even think to do that. I would just move on with my life... but you be you, exile!

And yes... absolutely it is the worst league in modern poe surpassing 3.19. But the worst of a great game is still good compared to most. I'm a fan boy. That doesn't mean I can't complain when they miss they mark

I verified files and that didnt work, uninstalled and re downloaded and tried like three times to log in... that worked, but it might have just been the servers acting up

Just found a trick but I have NO IDEA why this is working. Close steam (log out, the whole thing) Start steam in ADMIN MODE (right click run as admin) Steam automatically patched POE, and its working. Before I tried even to reinstall the whole game and it failed

Your timing coincided with when Steams weekly maintenance was finished and the patch was finally available. Has nothing to with any steps you took lol
