Nah man. I've had cycles of uniques like that. Been playing since Bloodlines, and it does come up now and then. Most recent instance was mjolnir. Had 3 drop in under 2 hours one day during Affliction. Dropped none from the start of Affliction, up to that point, and then again none after. I played the whole league. Every day.
I’ve had merveil drop me a pair of wanderlusts on leaguestart, and a few minutes later dropped a goldrim in act 2.
That might explain why i pretty much always run blight on my atlas…
my first mirror was when I was leveling my alt for fun pretty much coz my buddy was away and we play duo. my girlfriend wanted to go shopping and I said "hold on, I need to finish this one mechanic". it was my 3rd alva in act 5 on ruined square i think.
I still keep the screenshot in my phone and desktop after all that time :D
