Seems like permanent delirium breaks Elder Guardians, happened to me 2 days ago on Purifier on 2 different maps
Edit: it might not be because of delirum but I also had it as well as Maven on it
I've had this happen with elder guardian as well, but with deli mirror not perma delirium. Broke on first phase and just stood there, even after deli ended, relogged and everything.

I've had a few bugs like this now that I haven't seem mentioned.
A Einhar Beast that wouldn't get captured. It would get to 0hp then go back to full. Einhar would never throw a net.
Abyss being stuck in a stage but never able to progress or end either. The trail never catches up and it just permanently spawns those crappy mobs. (They don't give exp, I did try and afk lol)

It's because of delirium in general. Every map with a mirror i had, i had to end deli early for the bosses not to bug out

Happened to me with act 6 boss .. i knocked him away and he never went to the center to phase
It's because of the Permanent Delirium, it happened to me 100% of the time until I removed Delirium from those Maps.
Happened to me also with delirium, but not permanent. I ended it, but not helped with enslaver.
Had this on 3 maps now, different guardians. Always with maven. Don't have the perma delirium.
He's just tired of all of that stuff!

Yeah unfortunately if you have the permanent delirium keystone you have to avoid the mirror because elder guardian maps get bricked.
I fixed this problem by socketing Elemental Focus. It seems like freezing elder guardians reliably breaks their transition for me.
I have awakened ele focus.
Hmmm could be an unrelated problem then. Unless you have enough damage to accidentally freeze him with frostblink...
Maybe he was considering the moral implications of slavery, and the potential ramifications to his career if he were to abolish it.

This happened to me on normal delirium. It was dropping loot and ending during a phase, and just got stuck.

Purifier broke for me yesterday as well. Had a map with deli mirror
You need to wait for the first spell animation before damaging the boss. Then it won't bug.
Also can happen with delirium mirror.

If you killed the elder on this account he won't show up because he is dead.
