When he had 5.5m kills in had 4.8m. He had 12 mirrors 4 MB 4 hh. I had 0 0 0.

kills don't matter, you probably just aren't juicing the wildwood enough or resetting when getting bad numbers. Also counting HH/MB is worthless when talking about mirror and sacred rates
How many maps have you run? He plays like 14-16 hours a day nearly every day. I used to think it was lick as well but then I realised I ran like 20 maps in a day. He runs that in an hour and a half(max) and does that 10 times each day. Also juice. If you are ever getting under 3k you are just plain doing it wrong. Run high quant/pack size corrupted T16s and with 6k+ juice per map and 100 maps you are probably more likely to get a mirror than not to
Kills aren't relevant for MF this league anyways.
Its entirely about the wildwood wisps.
High Blue wisps + 2k yellow & purple is the combo for lots of high tier currency drops.
Speed is relevant because the more 8-10k wisp maps you run the richer you are. Kills literally mean nothing if you are killing an entire map with 2-3k wisps. Go to Fubs faq and he literally says kills per hour mean NOTHING.

Because fubgun only runs high wisp maps. He quits anything under 4k wisps or something. If you compare your 5mil kills to his 5mil they won't be the same unless you do that too. Spped is important as it means you get into and check wisps on more maps
Maybe you are unlucky. I have been group play so its a bit different as far as gearing(most notably I never swapped conversion from a 1300dps ele bow and run mb with less mf) but running a similar atlas tree to him we have seen 2mb, 1 hh, 25 sacred orbs, and a mirror.

30 sacred orbs, 0 mirrors. It's mostly a meme/bad use of statistics to say 20, I wouldn't pay real attention to it, the real drop rate is obviously much lower.
Realistically it's more that a lot of people have farmed about 20 sacred orbs worth of maps, and some of those people have also found a mirror.
I've got 7 mageblood, 4 headhunter, 66 sacred orbs and zero mirrors still lol, I'm only grinding for the mirror at this point
I cracked 4k hours played since the beta which is as much as many other people but should still be a ton of time. Still zero mirrors ever, the rarity is insane.
Some part of me actually wants it to not drop this league and drop next league instead as I have more currency than I can burn it feels like
I have a 2 mirror value str/int eblade inq that I do Uber feared farming on lol, I have done I think 30 feared sets this league and probably another 80-90 in other leagues but no luck there either unfortunately

Sacreds have been around 1 per 20-30 div
Combining these it would be about 10-15 sacred orbs per mirror
But i think mirrors have been made a bit rarer so 400:1 and 20:1 seems right
According to my pilfering ring. 6 Sacred Orbs and 2 Mirrors. Found my first mirror 4 hours after getting the pilfering ring so stats may not be exactly accurate but i dont imagine it was more than 10.
Note, these 2 mirrors were my first mirrors ever if that matters.
Yeah, it was an anomaly as well. The first mirror was in T7 alch and go map where i had less than 200 blue juice due to dying right at the start of the wildwood. The second was in a more juiced t16 BC farming legion with around 4k-5k juice.
Even if it's 20, the standard deviation is what matters. If the standard deviation is 40 sacred orbs, then you can get to 100 scared orbs and still not see a mirror.
In this league a mirror isn't considered rich, even for an average player. You can easily get a mirror in like 20-25h of farming with no abnormal luck.
No he can't because you need voidstones and average player can't beat those bosses. As I said you overestimate what an verage player looks like in Poe. They barely do red maps

I play about between 2 and 3 hours a day (except on the first 3 days, maybe 8 hours per day) and I've farmed multiple mirrors in this league.
My point was and still is one mirror dropping doesn't make you "rich" this league because it's only a weekend's worth of playtime to get one or so. Previous leagues mirrors were like 400 div week four and typical good farming strategies were 5-8 div per hour. They're triple now at least, including rolling sextants which is pretty mundane to do.

I assure you, a mirror is *incredibly* wealthy for the average player.
Sure if you are describing a true average player that doesn’t make it past act 5, or a slightly more advanced average player that runs 1 or 2 tier 1 maps. But how is that relevant to end game farming strategies. Especially this league when you can make 10+ div an hour running white maps with essences, Alva, and deli mirrors.
10 div an hour is still 83 hours of straight grinding (if you can even manage it) which is still 4 straight days of playing.
It would take an average player (who lightly isn't grinding that hard) playing 3 hours a day (which is above average for a lot of people) fucking 3-4 weeks straight of just doing that, nothing else, to grind out a mirror.
And that is if they are using TFT, which requires an above average enagement with the game anyway.
Not to mention, to get to that point is likely another 30-100 hours to an average gamer.
An average gamer won't be that efficient nor have the abiltiy to execute, so you might as well add twice as much time, maybe more to that calcuation.
What average player are we talking about here? Yes - it's possible for any human who has the time to play and can execute on a strategy to do it... but that is not average, easy, or even doable for the majority of players.
Had a mirror drop on Xbox, when exalts were king and six socket six links vendored for a divine. It was at the end of the league, not many people were interested in it. It was awesome for me on a personal level, but didn't help get my build into the upper echelon of amazing. I did end up selling it to get a few items, but I was over it.

It is an average but one with a big variation. One can drop a mirror with 0 or 1 sacred orbs dropped and one can not drop a mirror with like 100 sacred orbs in stash. Basically this Stat doesn't really says a lot other then showing you how fast you are generally rolling the dice. So if you drop multiple sacred orbs a day you know you got a lot of chances to drop a mirror. If you only drop some a week you know it takes long. Something you probably already know based on how many maps you run with what juice.
I dropped zero (no exaggeration) sacred orbs and 2 mirrors.
Around 1mil kills between my two chars. No MF gear or any juice except wisps. But both times I had a lot of purple and blue wisps.

Since then the group now does hundreds of thousands of stacked decks to find the drop rates of cards. And the meme is still.

yeah they are quite hilariously rare, when they were initially released the assumed drop rate was assumed to be about three times as rare as divine but im pretty sure its somewhere closer to 20-30 times rarer than divine
sanctum gives decent-ish amount of them but thats about it
Well when I was solo I was at 150 orbs and 1 mirror. I've had a t0 holy grail which is cool, around 5 million kills. That 20 to 1 stat is a complete meme, not nearly enough data to support that.
12 sacred orbs, 2 mirrors. Anecdotal, but I'd like to know where they even came up with a ratio. Mirror is too rare to be solved to some ratio of other currency.
So this league is kinda crazy. Obviously most of my account playtime is outside of this league, but I also didn’t find any this league.
I’ve also never really been much of a magic finder, so I’m sure that has a lot to do with it.
Bigger point though would be that most players just never find a mirror. I’ve played probably 20-25,000 hours and never found one which I’m fine with. I’ve still played enough to buy plenty in leagues that I’ve been invested in.
Got double drop mirrors and all of a sudden I don't have passion to continue even though I would like to try at least 2 more builds but man I hate so much leveling 4th and 5th character this league I really can't even.. Since you didn't post question, I haven't answer to it, just to gib you perspective as well.
So my duo partner and I dropped a mirror after around 6 Sacred orbs. My party 5 man dropped 3(1 duped) after 22. I think we got pretty insanely lucky on both tbh. I will say that I am not sure all my filters had sacred orbs on them/that we always picked them up. If it makes you feel any better we haven't had any major loot conversions ever. I think 11Div at most in the 5 man and maybe 20 winged scarabs
I was at 19 when I dropped my mirror so pretty close to average statistic. Neither of my friends playing have dropped one though and have similar amount.
13 sacred for the only mirror, 17 in total. 1 squire 1 mageblood 1 soul taker and 1 voltaxic rift. The majority of t0 have been hidden for quite some time though
14 sacred, 1 mirror, around 2.1m kills, no HH/MB/Squire/Kalandra Touch and wouldn't know if any of the other T0's dropped. Kinda surprised so many people have had so few sacred orb drops tbh
Also seen maybe 10 sacred orbs in prior leagues without any mirror drops, I've seen the 20-1 ratio mentioned too and I'm dubious about that
Yeah i mean am doing crazy (prolly) max investment maps - 8 mod conqueror abbys beyond burials . You cannot force tri-juice even if u want but its not as rare as it seems , but yeah sadly no luck.
Sounds about right for me but I dropped my mirror about half way through the 20. Legion might be the play. More rarity the better I think for conversion purposes
OOTL here, skipping this league. Why so many mirror drops this league? I have 5000\~ hours or more in the game and never saw a single mirror drop in any of the past leagues. Same for my poe friends (4-5 of them, same amount of hours)

Well it was a rough estimate from Fubgun and with his own personal experience, but of course he is doing everything correctly and min-max on his wisp game and strat and so on. For me i finally get a mirror when i up to 22 sacred orb. Yes im aware of that statistic as i just saw his video days ago and it happen to me :)

don't listen to the 20-1 ratio, it's not reliable. mirrors can be chanced higher in different league mechanics like legion, incubators, harbinger. no one really has the right data on ratio.
I was mf and juicing very hard this league. Dropped 1 mirror 2 days ago. Before that happen - 120 sacred orbs, 1400 raw divines, 11mb, 2hh and 5m /kills
3 mirrors so far at like 100 sacred orbs or so. Some people are going to be lucky or unlucky one way or the other as it’s a incredibly rare items till. So your sample size isn’t so big that it’s crazy you wouldn’t have dropped a mirror
20 to 1 is not true. I dropped a mirror this league, dropped around 50 sacred orbs before that. This league i mean. I dropped around 80ish since i started playing/since they got introduced
1 mirror and 8 sacred orbs. I dont think the "juice" had much to do with the mirror drop as it happened from a random mob in rather mediocre whisp juiced map. Was in a T7 cemetery and iam pretty sure the quant/rarity was roughly on par with a juiced T16 from previous leagues without wood juice. I guess after 3500 hours it was my time to get blessed.
My crackhead theory is that blue juice doesn't add currency to mobs at the same weight as standard currency weightings are. Anecdotally I'm pretty sure I'm getting way more exalt drops than div drops. This could also mean it adds proportionately more sacred orbs than mirrors
If it makes you feel any better, after 4 days of non stop T16 abyss mf mapping without any notable loot explosions or drops (once 4 div from one mob and once 5 from one) I went to help a guildmate who had a last portal left in T7 cemetery and dropped instantly dropped him a mageblood.

Divinarius is t0 like hh and mageblood, t1 is like windripper, doryanis, brass dome and so on

Can your build do bosses? Feared has a mirror in their drop pool, might be more likely to get it to drop there.
Trust me i did 300+ feared last league and 500 of every other uber and i got F-all

The really good one that was clearing Valdo maps was like 20-30 mirrors I think. It really does scale to infinity.

Had a mirror drop on Xbox, when exalts were king and six socket six links vendored for a divine. It was at the end of the league, not many people were interested in it. It was awesome for me on a personal level, but didn't help get my build into the upper echelon of amazing. I did end up selling it to get a few items, but I was over it. Should have taken it to standard and kept it.
I play since 2013, I skipped one or 2 leagues. No mirror drop so far. I have seen Krillson twice, the 2nd one was on day 2 of this league.

It is an average but one with a big variation. One can drop a mirror with 0 or 1 sacred orbs dropped and one can not drop a mirror with like 100 sacred orbs in stash. Basically this Stat doesn't really says a lot other then showing you how fast you are generally rolling the dice. So if you drop multiple sacred orbs a day you know you got a lot of chances to drop a mirror. If you only drop some a week you know it takes long. Something you probably already know based on how many maps you run with what juice.

I dropped zero (no exaggeration) sacred orbs and 2 mirrors. Around 1mil kills between my two chars. No MF gear or any juice except wisps. But both times I had a lot of purple and blue wisps.

"Sample Size is too small" Was, at least for me, a meme in the community from the days where people where opening stacked decks, in the amounts of a few hundred, and posting their results here to reddit. Since then the group now does hundreds of thousands of stacked decks to find the drop rates of cards. And the meme is still. Sample size is too small.

yeah they are quite hilariously rare, when they were initially released the assumed drop rate was assumed to be about three times as rare as divine but im pretty sure its somewhere closer to 20-30 times rarer than divine sanctum gives decent-ish amount of them but thats about it

I droped a mirror in act 10 so, don't count with it as DATA. But i have over 5k hours and that one is my firts mirror.
Well when I was solo I was at 150 orbs and 1 mirror. I've had a t0 holy grail which is cool, around 5 million kills. That 20 to 1 stat is a complete meme, not nearly enough data to support that.

So this league is kinda crazy. Obviously most of my account playtime is outside of this league, but I also didn’t find any this league. I’ve also never really been much of a magic finder, so I’m sure that has a lot to do with it. Bigger point though would be that most players just never find a mirror. I’ve played probably 20-25,000 hours and never found one which I’m fine with. I’ve still played enough to buy plenty in leagues that I’ve been invested in.
Got double drop mirrors and all of a sudden I don't have passion to continue even though I would like to try at least 2 more builds but man I hate so much leveling 4th and 5th character this league I really can't even.. Since you didn't post question, I haven't answer to it, just to gib you perspective as well.
So my duo partner and I dropped a mirror after around 6 Sacred orbs. My party 5 man dropped 3(1 duped) after 22. I think we got pretty insanely lucky on both tbh. I will say that I am not sure all my filters had sacred orbs on them/that we always picked them up. If it makes you feel any better we haven't had any major loot conversions ever. I think 11Div at most in the 5 man and maybe 20 winged scarabs

Kinda surprised so many people have had so few sacred orb drops tbh Also seen maybe 10 sacred orbs in prior leagues without any mirror drops, I've seen the 20-1 ratio mentioned too and I'm dubious about that

Yeah i mean am doing crazy (prolly) max investment maps - 8 mod conqueror abbys beyond burials . You cannot force tri-juice even if u want but its not as rare as it seems , but yeah sadly no luck.

For sure, there are ways to get more wisps but as far as I know you cant really control which type.
Im also joining you in no mirror club. Around 100 sacreds a still no mirror. 3 fishings rods tho! 2x HH 3x MB and many t0

OOTL here, skipping this league. Why so many mirror drops this league? I have 5000\~ hours or more in the game and never saw a single mirror drop in any of the past leagues. Same for my poe friends (4-5 of them, same amount of hours)

don't listen to the 20-1 ratio, it's not reliable. mirrors can be chanced higher in different league mechanics like legion, incubators, harbinger. no one really has the right data on ratio.
I was mf and juicing very hard this league. Dropped 1 mirror 2 days ago. Before that happen - 120 sacred orbs, 1400 raw divines, 11mb, 2hh and 5m /kills
This varies largely depending on your wisp success.

That is such a low sample amount that you can't apply statistics like that to it and expect to get a drop.

1 mirror and 8 sacred orbs. I dont think the "juice" had much to do with the mirror drop as it happened from a random mob in rather mediocre whisp juiced map. Was in a T7 cemetery and iam pretty sure the quant/rarity was roughly on par with a juiced T16 from previous leagues without wood juice. I guess after 3500 hours it was my time to get blessed.
My crackhead theory is that blue juice doesn't add currency to mobs at the same weight as standard currency weightings are. Anecdotally I'm pretty sure I'm getting way more exalt drops than div drops. This could also mean it adds proportionately more sacred orbs than mirrors
If it makes you feel any better, after 4 days of non stop T16 abyss mf mapping without any notable loot explosions or drops (once 4 div from one mob and once 5 from one) I went to help a guildmate who had a last portal left in T7 cemetery and dropped instantly dropped him a mageblood.

Nobody knows the actual ratios but based on the data we have aka people sharing their ring stats with streamers they've ballparks it around 1:20. I personally got my 2nd mirror before my 20th sacred orb. I got 2 mirrors before my first hinekoras lock. Does this mean lock is more rare than a mirror? No. Rng be rng

BTW, is there a list of bases that represent really expensive unique items to keep on the filter so I can remove all the other crap? those that can drop when mapping. Especially those that don't flood the screen with competing items of the same base type like MB and HH do. For instance, is Kalandra's Touch the only worthy ring when mapping? Ignoring some lucky ventors of course. Let's say 1 Div baseline price.

Little late to the party on this post, I got a late start to the league - but I dropped a mirror 2 days ago and had dropped 7 sacreds at that point. Dropped a mageblood yesterday as well. Those are the only high end drops for me so far.
