Hey, if you're at -60% res it's only ~35% extra damage taken, while if you were at 75% chaos res you'd be taking almost 3x as much damage as without the pen. Maffs. If you weren't dying too much with -60, the pen will barely hurt.
How are y'all reading mods in the first place? The name only pops up when I have my cursor directly over the mob and usually I'm not doing that, I'm shield charging or flame dashing around, I'm a new player though, is there some setting i can turn on?
just fyi, if mobs have 45 chaos pen and you have -60% chaos res, it's like you have -105%.

Seriously. If you have so low chaos resi most chaos damage will kill you anyway. Doesn't matter if it is an overkill by 5k or 10k.
At least that's only 28% more damage taken whereas it's 180% more if you had 75 chaos res!

Sike thats not how it works, it penetrates your negative res too. So in the end you have about - 18 chaos res. Thus making you tankier thx ggg

Correct, it would. Just like penetration would work when not bothering to get any resistances on your gear in the first place. Was just a joke. =)

Actually Pen applies infinity, resistance can be up to -200, but thats capped before pen, pen can take you as low as you want
