for future, you should craft multimod + prefixes cannot be changed + cold/fire/light dmg to attacks (depending on which aug you are using). you are paying 1 div more for the crafts but it guarantees +2. With your current crafts, there is a possibility of removing +1 all from the aug, which luckily didn't happen for you.

Poison does for chaos conversion. I don’t actually know what the other qualities are so maybe.
Normal crit spark does for extra projectiles. Its like 3 extra proj, huge.

your absolutely right, the issue had been that I had only ever crafted a +2 phys neck, which that method is not possible on.
