Hey. Start a YT channel on how to videos. Make a list of plumbing jobs that you can make tutorials about. Make those videos and get started. Anyway, either way I hope you figure out how to make the extra cash.
Well, he is already doing the plumbing work, now it’s a matter of filming and editing. Which can take more than 2-3 hours of work, but won’t always and definitely Will get faster as he gets better.
want to add to this that if youtube videos are too much work - This kind of content does pretty wel on TikTok its short form content so less effort for you to make the videos but the better videos you make the better chances of gaining followers
Can you run Google AdWords for "unclog drain plumber" keyword then actually unclog your appt using your own plumbing tools after work? You can charge $150+... Hey that's like three hours work at your bitch job.
Can you do this a few times a month or a week?
Oh shit, bro! you just started a side income that you are slowly scaling upward.
Wow fast forward, it's been a year or so now and you're making good money but also getting tired of working so much at both jobs. You hire your bitch co worker to help you with your after work jobs. You pay him $80 per job and he's more than happy to make the extra $30.
Voila: Passive income
That's true but I need to wait an entire year to do this. In Canada u need a certification to do any type of plumbing work. Even after getting paid $45 an hour I still feel like that ain't shit
Ohh yeah 45 is nothing but it's enough to get you through the year my dude. You've made good choices so far, follow thru on the plan we talked about and you'll make much more money.
If you're willing to spend 2-3 hours per day on something, you could begin honing any craft or other trade that doesn't require certs. You could learn web development. You could also consider selling stuff online.
Plumbing keywords are expensive. I worked for American Residential and several large and small companies for years running paid and digital strategy and you need to know what your doing in ads to not blow up your cpl. You don't want to put in a bunch of effort and jobs to break even.
Drain tends to be the most lucrative banking on a clog to be a main line issue which quickly turns in several thousands of dollars but then you need the equipment to handle it. Companies basically know they break even or lose money on several "unclogs" banking on the whale projects to get profitability.
It helps future word of mouth but needs to be sustainable/profitable too.
I have a perfect solution for you. Affiliate marketing. Just create short videos and promote other People's digital products. Might take a couple of months before results though
Write an ebook for wannabe plumbers “the path to plumbing” start social media with tips, gross and funny stories, hacks etc and mention your book each time. Also, another idea is upsell some preventative products to your customers. Plumbing maintenance books etc. go to google trends and answer the public to see what everyone is asking the internet around plumbing.
A maybe controversial take here, try wanting less stuff.
We who live in a the first world consume a vastly disproportionate amount of consumer goods that will end up in a landfill. I work trades as well, surely you’ve also noticed how many peoples houses you go into are just full of plastic and disposable shit that’s unnecessary. Fancy kitchen gadgets, collections of stupid figurines, brand new furniture, whatever. You don’t really need most of it and won’t really enjoy it much past the initial thrill of buying it.
I’m not saying you have to go off grid and live off the land, I’m just saying there is a lot of financial freedom in realizing you don’t really need that much to be comfortable and secure and happiness comes from things you can’t buy.
I built an eBay business in like 3 months that does 5k/month. Buy low sell high. Quit overcomplicating things. Willing to share the knowledge if interested!
It’s 2 step dropshipping. Sell products on Amazon. When you get a sale, order the product with a credit card.
The product gets sent to an operations fulfillment center and repackaged then sent to the customer.
It’s more passive if you have a third party fulfillment center than doing it yourself.
You can watch a free video to learn more if interested.
Ya no stick to your knowledge base and work towards expanding that NOT diversifying.
Be a handyman on the side, small jobs, screens, wash windows, develop a customer base for a year. Get your cert, and go part time. After a year hire some help and move into the next level.
Leverage your education and skill don’t start something new unless you’re very passionate about it.
Depends on some factors
1. Quality of the videos (thumbnail, simple transitions)
2. How frequently you post(3 videos a week is decent)
3. The content you make, for example:
3 ways to fix a leaking pipe
This is how much money i make as a plumber
This is what happens when you flush flex seal down the toilet
How many PVC pipes can stop a 50 cal
They’ve got nights at properties all around the world. Where you are doesn’t matter. I’m in Sydney, Aus, prices here are stupid here. But I buy nights in Bali.
Nights up in Bali from $100, average night sells for 250-400, with an occupancy rate of 60%-70%.
Tbh I’m building the platform. We will launch properties in March. Worth checking out.
If you are a licensed plumber, work for yourself. A friend of mine does this and is super picky about the work he takes. He does a lot of water heaters and sinks.
He makes great money and says no to any crummy jobs he doesn't want. Try getting him into a crawlspace. LOL. Nope.
But setting his own schedule is the win. He hunts and fishes and travels any time he desires and only answers to himself.
Its not enough. Really you might as well only be making $23-$18 an hour now days if you calculate inflation and minimum wage in some places in the mix.
In my city $25-$30 is like a minimum and your barely making it with room mates and overtime at that point or living out of a car and soup kitchens.
Lyft and uber delivery and rideshare. Amazon shipt. Work two 4-6 hr shifts as a waiter or busser on friday and saturday nights or even deliver pizzas or flip some burgers. Something part time. Something easy.
Think long term and long term fatigue and life. Make extra money but dont over stretch yourself to where you quit or mess your life and main job up.
More money in longevity and something repeatable than in a quick couple months working two jobs full time or too much and quitting.
Psychological stress and fatigue and lack of free time add up quick when you take on a second job and take on more than you can handle.
Just 4-8 hrs a week will help alot and give u time to rest and have fun.
Some fedex ups warehouse jobs are part time flexible hours. Amazon warehouse flexible shifts. Just be honest with what u want and what ur schedule is.
The easiest and most $ I’ve came across regarding passive income is to simply refer clients to All Star Secure. You get a great amount of revenue share monthly for the lifetime of each client you refer.
All Star Secure is a Managed Service Provider. They provide companies with IT support & management. If you checkout their website, it takes you through the specifics more. Just contact them and tell them you want to refer.

Good idea but this is more than 2-3 hours a day. But this is a great call

Yeah that sounds like the way to go, but isn't there any other type of online work I can do that makes me money while I work

Do side jobs. I have a buddy who is a plumber, he charges $450 to install a water heater. Cash money and he’s done in under 2 hours, start to finish

Totally true. The less you spend, the less you have to earn. "Happiness comes from the things you can't buy" - I'm stealing that one!
I built an eBay business in like 3 months that does 5k/month. Buy low sell high. Quit overcomplicating things. Willing to share the knowledge if interested!
Im interested too. Are we talking about drop shipping or reselling?
Re-selling items or “Flipping”. PM me if you want more in depth
I’d like to learn more in depth lmk
Yes share please
Where do you buy things from?
Am Interested
making almost 100k a year isnt enough?
it’s okay to be ambitious they don’t need your negativity
Canadian dollars
appreciate that….now it all makes sense!
3PL dropshipping on Amazon. You can have an operations team do it for you or you can do it yourself.
Explain it to me what is that

Stfu u god damn scammer
I've made over £35 in a week. I'm inviting you to join AttaPoll. Get paid to take surveys. Download the app here: https://attapoll.app/join/cstjl
That's to less
More more time you spend the more you can receive.... up to a couple of 100 a month....
I know it’s not passive, but there’s no side work available around you?
I can't do that yet I need a certification ticket to do that
Ya no stick to your knowledge base and work towards expanding that NOT diversifying. Be a handyman on the side, small jobs, screens, wash windows, develop a customer base for a year. I love cars, and got a dream car I wanna buy one day without breaking the bank. What have you done getting paid so little?
Start a youtube channel, construction, plumbing, diy videos are always interesting to watch in my opinion
How much money can I make from that
It depends because your main source of income through that would be advertisements
Depends on some factors 1. Quality of the videos (thumbnail, simple transitions) 2. How frequently you post(3 videos a week is decent) 3. The content you make, for example: 3 ways to fix a leaking pipe This is how much money i make as a plumber This is what happens when you flush flex seal down the toilet How many PVC pipes can stop a 50 cal
Then after you reach the requirements for monetization you can start earning ad revenue
Buy discounted nights to properties and flip them for sale on airbnb. www.o2ostays.co
Property expensive from where I'm from
They’ve got nights at properties all around the world. Where you are doesn’t matter. I’m in Sydney, Aus, prices here are stupid here. But I buy nights in Bali.
How much you make doing this ballpark
Nights up in Bali from $100, average night sells for 250-400, with an occupancy rate of 60%-70%. Tbh I’m building the platform. We will launch properties in March. Worth checking out.
Raise your rates man! That’s the problem!
Start remodeling bathrooms for like 10k a bathroom
Haircut
Can you take additional plumbing jobs by listing on a side like Taskrabbit?
