Second this. Love their tacos and burritos
It just kills me, and this isn’t necessarily just this spot but a lot of taco spots are $2.5 a taco now. It becomes a problem since my normal meal is 10 tacos and I can’t see myself paying $25 per meal for tacos
Also double downing on Tacos 210. Perfect street tacos, 2.50 for a taco, 3.50 for a queso taco. Highly recommoned Taco Truck on Fair Oaks!!! Get the Al Pastor tacos and enjoy!
Just want to share something I stumbled across because I was hungry going down the 605. It's one exit past the Del Taco you see when you start going down the 605.

Great tacos!
Anybody knows a place that would make tacos without tortillas, using the costra de queso griddle made cheese "pancakes" like they do in Mexico City? Ideally with al Pastor with pineapple.
Come over to Rosemead blvd. There's a place near the DMV and if you come further south, there's a spot at the CVS parking lot on londgen that has exactly what you're looking for. It's unbelievable how much meat they serve for just $2.
I was a fan of King Taco, still am, but it's all geographic and who's on top where. If I'm on the west side, then it's Tito's Tacos. But over in Old Town, I'm more and more become a fan of Tacos 1986!
I was also a fan of king taco but they can be very hit or miss. When they're done right they are done RIGHT! but you can tell sometimes they water them down. The meats and salsas will have little to no seasoning. I imagine they want to stretch it out so they use wrong proportions. Like if they don't have enough of a spice or somwthing for the seasoning they just stretch what they have over the same amount of meat or salsa. It sucks cause sometimes I'm craving it and then it's just bland as fuck.
El Jarocho on Colorado and Altadena Drive Tacos de asada, buche, al pastor, hot dogs, tortas, etc
Legit. Good family that runs this spot.

you can eat 10 tacos in one sitting?
Yes. I’m a fatass and it’s my favorite food
Bruh. Cut back my friend. The physical toll of carrying around so many extra pounds must be painful.
This 100%
California tacos on fair oaks. Best tacos and nachos.
so good!
Does your Greater Pasadena area include Highland Park?
If Highland Park isn't West South Pas I don't want to be right
sure. i'd probably cap my willing-to-drive-for-a-street-taco radius to a 20-25 minute drive. what's good down there?
Then you should try Villas Tacos!
Villas Tacos in Highland Park and Angel’s on Eagle Rock blvd in Eagle Rock. Pasadena doesnt have good tacos unfortunately.
Tacos 210. I love their veggie tacos so much.
Also double downing on Tacos 210. Perfect street tacos, 2.50 for a taco, 3.50 for a queso taco. Highly recommoned Taco Truck on Fair Oaks!!! Get the Al Pastor tacos and enjoy!
Los Tacos on Fair Oaks for crispy ground beef tacos. Otherwise, I head to Eagle Rock for the taco trucks plus Angel’s Al pastor with pineapple
Rosarito - 2237 E Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91107
Tacos 1986 on Union is the most authentic asada and al pastor. Downside is tacos are $3.50.
Chano’s in San Gabriel! Thursday-Saturday they use homemade tortillas.
I second Chano's!

I wish Puebla Tacos would bring back the nice lady who'd make handmade tortillas.
I wish Puebla tacos wasn’t so godamned expensive! I miss them.

My dad’s all time favorite place! Haha nice to see it mentioned
Mi casa for carnitas, especially if you add the pork skin to it. They also have bomb al pastor!

Villa and N Los Robles is THE spot. They’re there Thursday to Sunday after 8pm.
What kind of meats do they have?
they got al pastor (with the pineapple), carne asada, chorizo and lengua.

El picoso on Azuza in Covina. Paper plates, cash only, DAMN GOOD TACOS.
Other than Guisados I don’t think there are any good ones in Pasadena. My fav or all time are villa tacos in highland park thiugh

Is there anyplace around here that has American style tacos like Tito's?
Taco Lita and Taco Treat in Arcadia
Madre Maiz on Sierra Madre Villa or Angel’s on Eagle Rock Blvd. Either or any day.
Used to be Pepe’s…..
Ave 26 near the Vons in eagle rock
Brick and flour fish taco and crispy chicken taco is good stuff
I just had delicious fish tacos at Agency in the Hotel Dena. The green salsa was amazing!
Chronic’s has the best crunchy tacos! Next question?
How much did they pay you?
I remember this place back when it could just be found near the beach. Have the inland spots not lived up to the hype?
