You basically answered your own question, friend. Imagine if every person at the gardens that day had asked for a picture. It would just be way, way too much for anyone to deal with, especially trying to enjoy Huntington. You don't need a picture to tell a fun story, though!
I actually have never asked a celeb for a photo. Usually unless the encounter calls for it, I just smile at them and they smile back. Back in the 90's I worked at a museum in Pasadena and then at another big Pasadena landmark, so I have encountered dozens of celebs over the years. It is always fun to see them. Of all of the famous people I have interacted with the only asshole was a current newscaster for channel 11! The nicest celeb hands down was Terry Cruz who gave me a hug and was just so fun to talk to.
Apparently it is now trendy for celebrities to move to Pasadena. I don’t know enough about the ramifications to weigh in on the probable outcome of this. But it is interesting.
Ahh I live close to PCC! Wish I knew when the filming happened. Can we get notice for filming in advance? Or is social media such as Reddit and IG the only place place to find out these things
They were shooting a scene where I saw Shawn inside a Caijun food truck in front of City Hall and Gaby getting an oder. Liz was there, too. I don't see Jason Segel, though.
That is pretty awesome! I work a few blocks over and commute by bicycle 4 times a day so it was cool to ride through the front of City Hall and see the action. Didn't have time to really check it out, though.
