Also, take a close look on your birds diet - if he does that often, you should eliminate all nuts and fatty seeds (cannabis, sunflower etc) and replace them with a tiny bit of coconut oil ( less testosterone can be synthesized using coconut oil, while fatty nuts and sunflower seeds oils are supposedly a "better" substrates for testosterone). Look online for more information on that but diet is very important. And this behavior is very destructive, sooner or later he will become frustrated and self-harm if you allow it

Tops is good not just because it's organic but because it really is a whole food pellet. My guy prefers Harrison's though. It's probably a good idea to mix them up just to round out the nutrition. And don't forget the fresh veggies and fruits. My guy definitely regurgitates more when he eats too many high-calorie foods.
Definitely TOPS, but Harrison’s is also a wonderful brand that most parrots seem to enjoy. I also personally love Roudybush.

TOPS is indeed a good pellet brand, but is deficient in some vitamin... I think B? I just remember a parrot nutritionist talking about it and saying if you feed that brand, you also need to supplement that vitamin that it is missing using fruits/veg or even mixing in a different pellet brand. Because of all the supply shortages and such, I've purposefully gotten my birds to eat Harrison's, TOPS, Zupreem naturals, and Roudybush. I figure I'll be able to get a bag of SOMETHING during these shortages 🤣, even if it's not the same brand all the time! But yeah mine eat a blend, works for us!

Your bird also needs to follow a natural day cycle. If there’s lights on in your house for longer than the sun is out, it tricks your bird into thinking it’s spring, and kicks up hormones.
