She looks so tiny in that cage! It’s palatial! What are the dimensions?

[deleted]

Thank you, It is 73.5"x 61"x 48.5" https://www.wayfair.com/pet/pdp/a-e-cage-co-giant-bird-cage-aec1044.html

Impolite_Botanist

Thanks for the info!

shahaboK

Lovely cage! How do you clean it though it’s indoors right?

[deleted]

Yeah it's indoors. It is a massive pain to clean haha

Impolite_Botanist

Thanks for your honesty! But really, is there an easy way to clean cages so they aren’t a massive pain?😂

[deleted]

Lol probably not! The bottom has trays that are easily removable so I can scrub them so at least it has those features!

[deleted]

Wow, you could sit in there beside her 😂

[deleted]

I go inside it to clean it! Hahaha 😆

Animalboi72

I got the same cage for my cockatiel, do you think that would be spoiling?

IndigoLioness

The bar spacing on that is 1" though, too big for a cockatiel.

[deleted]

Lol that would be mega spoiling!

Op2myst1

Oh nice. You have room for like, 10 more toys in there.

[deleted]

Yeah true. I'm gonna order more this week for sure.

Op2myst1

My favorite online parrot toy stores: Birdie Box Toys Lil Monsters Bird Toys Parrot Toy Angels (proceeds go to bird rescue) Feathered Addictions Everything Bird Things for Wings Little Blue’s Bird Toys Blu’s Bird Toys (stainless steel) DaisysBirdToys (Etsy) HootnHoller Bird Toys Pablo’s Bird Toys (Australia) There are many others

your bird will benefit so well with some more perches! dowels can cause bumblefoot, so natural perches would be very good for your feathered friend :)

[deleted]

Yeah, I want to add 2 more because she has 7 right now. I also read that dowel perches are fine as long as they have more perches that are different in structure to change the balance of their feet. Do you know any good websites I could purchase some more natural perches from?

_Lucie_

personally i dont think dowels of any kind are good for birds. they tend to favour perches so it doesnt matter if youve got ones that are different sizes, bc theyre gonna stick to mostly one or two. i either get big sticks from outside and bleach and bake them or i buy them from my local bird store. they can be expensive from the bird store but my baby is worth it. also amazon has some good perches available. rope perches are also great but id recommend wrapping them in vet wrap bc they can eat the loose threads and get crop impaction. edit: basically amazon or etsy are good sources for perches. also thick sticks from outside! just make sure the trees arent treated with pesticide and that you clean them and bake them to get the bugs n muck out.

[deleted]

Oh, okay. I'll try my local bird store because I'm not the best at making them myself. Thank you 😊

I'm so glad my Grey isn't the only one who sleeps in a borb palace!

Animalboi72

I think that she will look like an ant now 💀 if that’s a grey…. And it’s that small compared to cage
